Great place to board your dog

Great kennel. They take pictures of your dog during the playtime if you purchase that option. Our dog always comes out happy. They also dont charge you of you pick up a day early. Will return with our dog and highly recommend.

I looked at several different kennels for my dog. This one reminded me of when I was looking for daycare for my kids-when you find the right one, you just know it and it feels right! I showed up unannounced and was welcomed with a tour of the entire grounds. Very clean, and the dogs were calm and well cared for. It made a difference to me that the woman giving the tour stopped at each cage and called each dog by name. The price is very reasonable and I paid extra for individual or group play each day. I received an email each day showing my dog with other dogs, or just playing with on of the employees. We know all the signs from our dog when he is having fun and getting attention, and I clearly saw those in the pictures!

I was going out of town for a wedding and never left Maci for that long. They sent me pictures of her in playtime and was so happy. I will definitely be back. Ps. They gave her a bath, even though they were booked. So happy with the all around care. Very gracious for everything that they done for my dog.

This is the only kennel I have ever used. I have always had an excellent experience with Stargate. The staff is amazing and very friendly. They are also very knowledgeable. The prices are good as well. If you want an excellent kennel for your pets I'd recommend Stargate Kennel.

We are a family of crazy-cat ladies. Stargate Kennel was recommended to us many years ago by our veterinarian, who knows exactly just how crazy we are. Our cats received the very best love and care from the ladies at Stargate, and on one of these visits they had to board for 6 weeks due to a very long drive and a new grandbaby. The wonderful, caring employees did not blink at my two-page list of instructions or basketful of brushes, blankets, food, treats, and medications. Everything was done with a personal touch to meet our cat’s individual needs. We received photos every day, and they always made time to talk to me when I would call just to check in. If they indeed thought we were “crazy”, it never showed, and that’s saying a lot. When we pick our cats up at the end of their stay, they are clean, healthy, and happy. Their supplies that I send along with them are clean and nicely packed. I trust our beloved cats care to Stargate, and I hope they’re in business forever.

Impressive facility with sterling reputation.

I had emergency back surgery, and needed to board my large Hound dog so that I could recover. He ended up staying for 5 nights. They sent me pictures daily and kept us informed on how he was doing. They have great prices and services you can add on! My boy looked and smelled great when we picked him up. By far the best kennel we have ever used. We plan on using their training program as well.

Our fur baby Molly, has stayed there many times and the love and care they give her is amazing!!!

My active GSD, Juliette, thrived during her extended stay at Stargate Kennel after my planned surgery. She received personalized attention and got to chase her Kong ball every day. We've been bringing our dogs here for (14) years. Now we've begun to bring our "next generation" of dogs. We can tell that our dogs enjoy coming here. The place is always spotlessly clean and not even a hint of odors. It would not even cross our minds to take our family anywhere else. We especially enjoy the photos we receive everyday when we are gone on vacation.

I have had my dogs her on and off for years and at this point cannot say I would go back or recommend for anyone to take their animals there. You should offer to help with a vet bill when a dog gets sick from staying at your facility. Dog was there for 5 nights. Came home lathergic. cough started within 36 hours. Went to vet and confirmed kennel cough. According to the receptionist no other dogs have reported issues Only offered a sorry and we will make sure to clean the kennels. Does this mean you don't regularly clean? Guess I should dispute the charges of $140 for boarding ( not including the additional vet bills) since no one wants to step up and do the right thing?

They charge 4%if you pay with a credit card but don't tell you. Her response was it's posted inside. HELLO COVID YOU WON'T LET ME INSIDE

Friendly staff, never any problems

My dog just turned 1 and has never been away from us. We went on vacation for 7 days and were very worried about leaving her somewhere. We first tried the watering bowl and they wouldn't take her, she doesn't warm up to people quickly and growled at the staff. My dog went to obedience training at star gate and when I called about boarding they said it's not a big deal and they deal with that often. We were very pleased with the outcome. Someone new worked with her everyday. We got several pictures each day. She was playing with the staff and having a great time. We will be back and I would recommend them to anyone who wants their dog well cared for. Thank you!
