Can't say enough good things about LAH. Before Dr. Lowery retired, we took our two 6 month old bulldog puppies to him. They had horrible rashes and their first vet just wanted to keep treating for mange despite finding no mites in any scratch tests After months of them being miserable, the doctor at LAH diagnosed their rashes as fungal secondary to bad allergies A round of ketoconazole and they were like new dogs! We were also able to get them on maintenance treatment to control their allergies We have used LAH ever since The staff are all very patient and extra accommodating, not only with my dogs but also with us, the owners, as customers. Also I have to say Dr. Fitterer is phenomenal One of our dogs has a rare autoimmune disorder that attacks the blood vessels of his nose. She diagnosed it and furnished a very successful surgery and treatment plan, again making my dog feel so much better Everything she does is thorough. I will be taking my pets to her until she retires from practicing

The Vet and staff were very understanding and compassionate when we made the difficult decision to have our cat put to sleep due to medical issue that was irreversible. I will definitely use them when we eventually get another pet!

Best experience with a vet in YEARS. Every person I encountered there (whether via phone or in person) was pleasant and understanding, and my bill was not sky high as I feared it might be from prior bad experiences at other vets. Definitely recommend!

My 14 yr old Bella was having trouble with her breathing. They saw her immediately and it was at closing time. My Bella seems to be doing a lot better and I am very grateful to the team there for caring for her and putting my mind at ease. I will take my baby they're from now on. Thank you ????

I adopted a German Shepard about a month ago from a lady who works at the vet in Theodore. She never told me the dog was pregnant and when I took her for a check up I didn’t ask my vet to check for that. Well I came home one day to my baby in labor MedVet wanted to charge me $4,000 to take the dead puppies out and spay her. They sent her home and instructed to get her into surgery soon as possible (next day). No one would get her in for this emergency surgery until I called Lowery Animal Hospital. All staff including the doctor herself showed compassion and empathy for our situation. A special thanks to Ms.Jenny, she’s the one who answered the phone Friday for me. And she’s been dealing with my truck load of questions. My dog BeBe is home recovering now. I highly recommend!

Took my 4 month old puppy Archie here for the first time yesterday and we loved it here. Not only are they super friendly and great with the animals, their prices can’t be beat. I’ve been paying close to $200 just for regular check ups and some basic shots for Archie until we came here and it was only $100 for everything including some medicines plus his shots/tests. Highly recommend! They’ve found a customer for life.

I am not sure what has changed. This vet was a caring vet in the past. I took my dog in to be spayed. They seny her home without a collar. I did what they said to do. Her stitches opened and she was disemboweled. I called the vet and they did not even bother to call me back. I rushed her to the emergency vet who did call and check on her after she was released. That incident cost me $3000 plus the $500 I paid for her to be spayed. They are ok for shots but find someone else to handle your surgery and that includes spaying!

If you're looking for quality care come here. Feed your pet healthy food for their life and you should have a happy pet. 7 years strong and love them even though we miss Dr.Greene, she is the bomb! We saved many strays, vetted and adopted them out thanks to her generosity, time and energy. We're just two normal people that attracted all the neighborhood strays with our dog food bowls outside and other cats. Spent so much money we have not had the opportunity to afford spay and neuter here but I'm sure its great. We have been using the Mobile County Spay and Neuter Voucher and bel air animal clinic for spay and neuter but in the future we will be using Animal Care Center of Mobile County in Semmes. Dr. Lowery will work with you on he prices as well

Great place who actually cares about your pets!

First experience here was very good. Even with not being able to go in due to the pandemic I felt they were respectful with our time. Our dog came our very happy as if she was treated well. Price was reasonable. I felt very informed by the telephone call with the Vet. Would recommend!

These guys are awesome! Very courteous staff and the vets know their stuff.

Do not take your dog to this veterinarian if you want him to live they put my dog on antibiotics for 3 months and causes liver enzymes to go up!! Call them about it and they kept hanging up on me would not talk to me about the situation!!

I love this veterinarian hospital, I believe they love our dog as much as we do.

They're ok I guess. Seems they're more about prescribing drugs and ointments than actually treating your pet. They are flexible though so I gave them 4 stars
