The Dr. Is very nice and knows his stuff. Out of all the vets I’ve been thru he does the job and is reasonable too. They even pass out donated meds when needed if u can’t afford them

I started off by taking my rats here. There's no other small animal vet in the area. They took care of my old rat and helped me to relieve him when he was too old. I was sad not to be there with him, but I know these people love the animals. I see a lot of people mad about covid procedures and leaving bad reviews. Dont like it, go somewhere else. These people actually care. They helped my hairless rat when he started having skin problems. i got a new puppy. He was having some very fast alarming issues and i took him here without an appointment and they saw me as soon as they could. they were very busy. and they got me in and out as fast as they could. told me what was going on and what to do about it. along with 3 meds for it. 2 exams and 3 meds later, i spent $129. The emergency vet we went to that night before, wanted $135 upfront for one initial exam. Bring your pets here. There people care.

I don't usually write reviews but this may be a useful recomendation to those who are "on the fence," or in need of a trusting vet. I very much believe that Dr Barr cares for the quality of life of our fur babies. Mine are my kids. When I moved to Mobile, six years ago, I already had experienced three broken hearts. I have dealt with different vets throughout the years and have become critical of certain behaviors and practices. Unfortunately, I have also become very sensitive to the point of hysterics, if my babies scratch funny. It can take awhile to find a vet you like and time to build a trusting rapport. So when the previous vet that operated at Skyline transitioned over to Dr Barr, I was very skeptical. After a few visits, as time would tell, he has turned out to be one of my all time favorite vets. One of my babies is now 12yrs old and a 4th heartbreak is inevitable. So far I am pleased in his patience with me, but more importantly, his initiative and compassion in helping me make her senior years more comfortable.

Skyland isv a wonderful vet clinic. The Drs are competent and caring. The staff is wonderful. I would highly recommend Dr Barr and his clinic...

I brought my hedgehog in because her mouth was bleeding. They took amazing care of her and kept me informed on what was happening and what was wrong with her. They were very patient with my many anxious questions and genuinely care about the animals they treat. This is definitely the vet I'll be going to for anymore of my needs.

They have very friendly staff. Together we kept my baby from losing his eye after our puppy bit him in the eye.

DR Barr treats exotic animals s as well as cats and dogs. He does his best to fit one in if needed and even works on Saturdays. I am taking all of my animals to him both exotic and domestic.

Kind to my two dogs, even my moody one. Despite the pandemic they rain professional and friendly.

Dr. Barr and his staff are THE best. They really care and it shows. Thanks for all you do for our babies.

Dr Barr and his staff are absolutely amazing! I highly recommend this office to anyone who truly loves their pets and wants a Vet that genuinely cares!

Today was the first time using Skyline. I had a kitten who I thought had a fractured rib but it turned out to be a cyst. Poor baby was in pain and I noticed they were one of the few places open on a Saturday. They got me in right away on such short notice!! While I was sad I couldn't go in with my pet (my only complaint) they made sure to update me often while I waited in my car. I was appreciative they kept me updated continously! Dr Barr was very nice, seemed very knowledgeable about what was going on without charging me for extra tests or x-rays. He brought my baby out to show me what was going on and explained it. I was in and out of there in no time! I also appreciate them taking the time to explain the medicines to me and the advice they gave to any of my questions. I was so shocked when I got my bill. I was expecting it to be a big bill, especially coming in on a Saturday but they were so reasonably priced!! I'm thankful for this place and I will definitly be coming back. Definitly would recommend :)

Long story short, we had an emergency. They took my male eclectus in immediately. They saved his life! We are forever thankful to them and their staff! We will be repeat customers.

Disappointed that the staff is still so freaked out over covid that they won't let you come in with your pet to calm and console them. Some people in the car next to me had their pet euthanized but weren't allowed to go inside to be with their baby. The clinic staff handed their DEAD PET to them through the car window in its bed. INEXCUSABLE!!! This clinic is also higher priced than others.

Receptionist has a poor attitude,is uneducated about medical supplies and what they are used for and HUNG UP IN MY FACE. Work on your staffing.

Literally such a poor experience. Could not believe that when I got there I was asked to wait outside while they took my animal inside due to Covid. You have individual rooms, and you’re a clinic. Get a grip people. Covid has become such a convenient excuse.
