I trust my pets at Duke Animal clinic. I take my dog to get his teeth cleaned and Dr. Duke does a great job at that, and for everything else, the clinic is very accommodating for my schedule. I even take my dog there for a bath and nail trim because they do a good job.

Always bring my cats here. Duke animals clinic is the best IMO

My super-senior, Max, went in for a full mouth extraction due to stomatitis. Dr Duke was referring to me by two clinics and I’m extremely happy with the care my baby received. A vet tech from the clinic I went to for a second opinion had told me the usual price was around 900, but to be aware it may cost more depending on any additional meds or services he may need. The office at Duke Animal Clinic quoted the same price. 900 was more than reasonable as I usually get vet care in Atlanta and prices are insane there. Although his appointment was further out than I had hoped, when he finally had his surgery I was pleased at the level of care he received and that Dr Duke gave me a copy of mouth photos (before and after) and explained what he did by showing me on the photos. Max is healing up nicely, is back to being mischievous, AND the price was just under 900 even though I was prepared for more. I 100% recommend Duke Animal Clinic to anyone needing dental care for their pets.

My wife took her Chihuahua to Duke Animal Clinic to have a procedure done for his teeth. We were told by the clinic that the cost was going to be around $400, which we were fine with. After the procedure, the clinic charged us nearly $700 without any change in scope-of-service or explanation of the increase. This is beyond unethical business practice. The people that run Duke Animal Clinic are the dishonest crooks they have proven themselves to be. If they cannot be trusted at their word, how can someone trust them with their pets?

They are so awesome and caring.Dr. duke himself is one of the very best vets i have ever seen.he saved my baby belle and i will forever be thankful to him.

Dr. Duke is amazing with my dogs, and very friendly. All the staff was helpful and kind. He took the time to answer all of our questions patiently and makes us feel like he really cares about animals. Not to mention prices are extremely reasonable, plus they do military discount.

The Doctors and Staff are top notch and honest with tx for your furbabies. They will never try to talk you into things that you may not be able to afford and will never make you feel guilty about it. They are so kind and compassionate. Loving environment.

When you pay $60 for a meaningless consult, you should be allowed to share your experience. However, this business seems to have a lot of time on their hands to continuously attempt to dispute a legitimate review. Dr. Duke was condescending …

They always take great care of our fur babies!

I've used Dr. Mims ever since I moved to Alabama and got my first dog. He is a very compassionate and kind man and he was very good with Ella. When she had a tumor, he quickly diagnosed it and sent off a sample of it to confirm. We had to go through chemotherapy and it was coming to the point where my Lab was excited to go to vet. That's how great these people are. They knew Ella by name and were very gentle and kind to her. I'll continue to use Dr. Mims and Dr. Duke and recommend them to anyone with pets.

Very Friendly and compassionate Staff, they make you feel very Welcome there.

I only like Dr. Duke. Everyone else puts fear in me like they suggest things that I dont agree my pets need. Ive had dogs all my life and they have always lived long healthy lives. Dr. Duke always said they are healthy when I would see him. He never suggested anything like the others all do.

I picked up a rescue horse today and to haul it back to Florida I had to have a cogens done and they did it while I waited ,great service

Duke Animal Clinic was recommended by a good friend. We were seen right away and made to feel welcome.Care and cleanliness was excellant. I will switch to this Vet for our other furry children(3 dogs and 2 Cats).

We have nothing but appreciation to Duke Animal Clinic. Our precious Lexus was their patient only a few weeks after our relocation to Mobile. She received EXCELLENT care from multiple doctors and even though we had to let go of her, we received the most incredible care. She had a wonderful 13.5 years and the Duke practice made her last days the best possible. We would recommend this group because they put your pet FIRST. Thank you again for all that was given.

This is update to my review a few months ago. October 23 2018. Last evening I had an emergency with one of my older beagles. Dr. Jane Snead was on call. I give her five stars! She was compassionate, competent and very thorough in her treatment of my Kate. Unfortunately due to bleeding abdominal tumor the decision was made to PTS. I have the most respect for veterinarians that take on call for their established clients. Many vets are opting to send their clients to ER clinic and not take call at all. Thank you Dr. Snead for being available and the excellent care provided to Kate. I have used Dr. Duke ( Duke Animal Clinic) for almost 40 years. Dr. Mims and Dr. Duke as well as others have always been there when needed. His support staff are always outstanding and friendly. I have received excellent care and encourage others to use Duke Animal Clinic

I have been going to Duke for the last 3 years and they have been amazing. I have a few special needs cats and they have always received the absolute best care from the team at duke. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my pets and they always make time for us if we have a unexpected issue. They go above and beyond to figure out what is going on with my pets and the rescue cats I take in for the cat rescue. They treat those cats like they are a beloved pet even if they don't have a home yet.. I can never say enough about how wonderful everyone at this clinic is to me and my pets.

I have used Duke animal clinic for 30 years with large and small animals. Dr. Duke has always gone above and beyond in taking care of our animals along with Dr. Justin Mims.. The Doctors have gone to extra lengths to treat my animals in the best way possible. Staff is good and always try to help in anyway they can. They also take after hours calls for established clients. Dr. Duke specializes in dentistry and has clients come from all over the Gulf Coast. I can't tell you how happy I am with this clinic.

I went the first time and everyone made us feel welcome. They tended to my pet's needs and the price was very affordable. We Thank ALL of them there for their hospitality.

Overall we love the care we receive at Duke Animal Clinic. Appointments are always available and the staff is very caring. We brought our rescue dog here after adopting her. They’ve always provided great care

Dr. Duke and Dr. Newcombe are the best vets I have ever known. I have used 4 other vets in my 69 years and they don't even compare to the Duke clinic. They are reasonable also.

I have been using Duke since 2011. I have always been pleased with the veterinarians at Duke, and until a year ago was please with the office staff. But a year ago, I noticed a lot of turnover in the office. Now, Duke's office is an administrative nightmare. Until Duke is able to retain a front office staff long enough to attain seasoned, well functioning staff employees, I would avoid this clinic.

I love Duke Animal Clinic! I volunteered/worked there a few years in middle and high school. Dr. Duke and his staff really care and treat your pets as if they were their own. I am glad to be back in Mobile!

My 13yo English Springer Spaniel was very sick. After spending a night in the Vet ER, I just showed up on a Saturday with no scheduled appointment very worried and had never seen him before. Dr. Duke was nice enough to stay late and look at him. Ollie is alive today thanks to him. Great guy. great place. very affordable. I highly recommend them!

Dr duke is an insensitive crule jurk. He did not sedate my baby enough,then used too big of a needle and kept shoving it in and out so much that she was in pain scared crying out till she finally left this word. Never ever is this the way it is supposed to be. ????????????
