Bay Animal Clinic Fairhope, Mississippi

We were greeted with open arms on short notice with our 5-month old kitten with special needs. We were in town visiting family and required veterinary support. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Dr. Kuhn listened to our kitten's needs, and provided professional and compassionate care for our fragile little Polly. We don't know what God's plan is for sweet Polly, but we're happy Dr. Kuhn and his staff provided the best care during her trying journey. Now, my Mom is making an appointment for her dog with Dr. Kuhn :)

We took our ShihTzu mix for the first time and everyone was so friendly and caring from the girls at the front desk to Dr. Hooper and her assistant. The dr was very knowledgeable and had read our pet’s records thoroughly before seeing her. The atmosphere was professional and clean and we will continue to go there for a long time.

This is THE best vets you can ask for! The ENTIRE staff truly cares about animals and you can tell. They take the time to explain care, options, next steps, every aspect…until you are comfortable. Most vets rush through to get on to the next, but NOT at Bay Animal. I know they love what they do and my pets are in the best hands because of it!

I am very pleased with this practice. Dr. Kuhn and Dr. Hoover have worked so pleasantly and quickly with me to prepare the paperwork for our dogs to travel to Europe each year for many years. They and the staff are always thoughtful and caring in treatment and boarding of our beloved pets. Highly recommend!

Dr. Kuhn and the staff of Bay Animal Clinic are like family to us. We wouldn't take Jake anywhere else. Jake probably wouldn't go anywhere else, lol! He loves them. ❤️

Bay Animal Clinic in Daphne has been a godsend to my family. I have been using their services since 2014 and over the years, they have treated and boarded eight of my animals. The staff is always well trained and friendly and you can tell each truly cares about the pets and families they serve. The entire staff has worked with my hectic schedule through the years, making sure my pets needs are always made a priority. Dr. Kuhn is an amazing doctor, genuinely caring, and excellent at the medical care he provides. This includes performing two separate surgeries removing two different types of cancer, with each surgery greatly prolonging the life of my dog. To my knowledge, I have never posted a review on anything before, but after reading a few opinions, felt compelled to do so. In short, my family and I have never had a more thoughtful, compassionate, caring vet (and staff) ever. It is clearly evident in the time that Dr. Kuhn has acquired the practice, the level of service exhibited in him, his staff , and the overall appearance and improvement of the facility are second to none. I have personally seen empowered staff members go well above the call of duty and take personal responsibility in the treatment of their patients (our pets). In today’s world, it is refreshing to observe members of an organization do what they do not only for a paycheck, but because they clearly enjoy interactions with their patients and (most of the time) their paying clients! We moved here roughly 10 years ago and really appreciate the simple kindness and positivity that Dr. Kuhn and his team exude with each interaction. Our pets and family have truly benefited from the relationship.

I don’t often leave reviews but I could not allow how much we appreciate this clinic in the recent months to go unshared. We absolutely love Dr. Alan Kuhn , Dr. Hoover and the entire staff here . I have years of experience fostering and training animals and to say that I have been happy with the level of patient, thoughtful and attentive care we have received would be an understatement. I recently moved to the area from MS and Bay Animal is not the first vet we saw by any means for our multiple dogs or cats but they will absolutely be the last. I am extremely particular and every single time we have had any appointments , Dr. Kuhn, Dr. Hoover and the BAC staff have gone out of their way to ensure the comfort of my animals in their care, answered more questions than necessary and have even called back on several occasions to check in after an appointment. This is the first clinic that I have ever experienced this with. Their love for animals truly shines through their attentive care and I could not be more grateful for poor experiences at other local vets that led us to Bay Animal! We had an elderly dog who was extremely wary of strangers and new places and had even shown aggressive/protective reactions in the past. We always just said he was a good judge of character. Immediately upon meeting Dr. Kuhn , he begged for attention and interaction in a way that was extremely rare for him. That is what sealed the deal for us! When Petey passed away months later (from old age) we got the nicest sympathy card from the BAC staff. Recently, our other dog began having issues with her hips and arthritis. I can say with no exaggeration that Dr. Kuhn took more time to walk me through each of her X-rays and make sure I understood what was going on than has ever been taken by a previous vet or regular human doctor for that matter. I have a dozen more good things I could share but this review is already much longer than necessary. Did I mention we love BAC? ????

I can not express how much we love this office! We have only been once and have had only a couple of phone calls but they are friendly, caring, fast, and attentive! They really feel like a "home town vet"!

Everyone at the clinic has been absolutely wonderful with our two dogs! Our 15 year old Jack Russell has had some health issues with aging and the clinic always makes time to fit him into their schedule- even on a busy Saturday for a last minute appointment and we appreciate that so much. They also see our 1 year old lab and she’s always so excited to see the kind folks at the clinic. We’ve trusted our fur babies with the clinic for check ups, dental procedures, and boarding. Everyone from the front desk to the techs to the doctors are very caring. Highly recommend for the fantastic care we’ve received for our pups!

Wish I could give less than one star. Irresponsible owner/vet. Disgusting service and lack of care for the animal. The vet will send your pet home in worse conditions than it went in due to hours of neglect.

Best Vet and staff I have ever found..... here or in Louisiana. Dr Kuhn is amazing with animals. He goes out of his way to take the best care of our girl. He keeps us well informed and always communicates back when we reach out. A-1 clinic????

My boys first visit to a Veterinarian that we know of and he remained so calm doing the whole time. Can tell they really care from receptionists to doctor great job.

We did have an issue but the vet was quick to call and fix their error. I was very impressed and went from taking my dogs to a different vet to keeping them there and going back that day. I appreciated his honesty and willing to fix the issue. It says a lot about their professionalism and wanting to do what's right.

This was our first visit for 4 dogs needing updated shots. Everything was handled smoothly and efficiently with all necessary respect for Covid safety. My dogs were carried in and back out while I read a book in my vehicle! Staff was super friendly and efficient. Dr. Kuhn came out to personally deliver results of exams. This effort to accommodate is much appreciated!
