Wild River Veterinary Clinic Pine City, Minnesota

Usually a good place but this morning I was very disappointed. My dog cut her leg really bad and I just wanted their opinion if I should head somewhere else if they didn't have time to take care of her or if I was making a big deal out of it. They won't even take a minute to look at her when there was nobody else in there at the moment. I asked for her records. Front desk lady told me that she didn't have time to get them to me. We will be switching all six of our animals to the Vet clinic that didn't blink twice and said they will make time for her.

They are amazing! They helped my pets get the care they need for a reasonable price. They were personable and answered all of my questions. They did not turn me or pets away as other veterinarians had in a different town. I will make the drive for my pets to get the best care possible.

Didnt help my dog at all. Just complained i dont deserve my dog after 4 vet visits and $1000 later

They have taken amazing care of my puppy he loves seeing them every time he walks through the door!

Everytime my Yorkie needs to be seen I can always get an appointment as soon as needed! The Doctors and staff are friendly and helpful! I have recommended this clinic to everyone I know in the area plus the ones I meet! My baby Gizmo loves Dr. Megan and so do my husband and I!

These dr’s and support teammates are such great people to work with. They are not pushy for products and they give the best care for the pets!

Dr Megan is wonderful. The whole staff is so kind and professional. They go the extra mile to make sure we are able to get medications we need and always treat my fur babies with love and care. Can’t recommend them enough.

My parents bring their Yorkie here to get groomed and see the vet! They absolutely love this vet!

They treated both of our dogs for quite some time. Once they became senior dogs with serious health issues the compassion and understanding from Dr Palmquist and Britt was phenomenal for our girls as they entered their last stages of life and are so appreciated. We have lost our girls and they will be so missed. However the services we received at the clinic are so appreciated and valued. Thank You

AMAZING.... Our puppy was sick and every other veterinarian was recommending to take him to a 24 hour place in the cities. Wild River was booked but worked him in. He is on the path to recovery and if it wasn’t for them he’d still be miserable. They are very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. The receptionist made sure all my questions were answered. The veterinarian took time to call me with my other questions. I would recommend them to anyone and we will definitely be back... Otis and our family want to Thank you all! ❤️❤️❤️ Davis family!

I recommened thats people read recent reviews posted after July 2020 (post Palmquist retirement) to assure that my and my neighbor's event are isolated situations and not the new normal everyday practices of Wild River Veterinary Clinic. I erased my "lovely" 5 star review, as it applied to Dr. Palmquist's services and I no longer feel in my experience that it applies to the new veterinarians. The remaining staff and Vet Techs still deserve 5 STARS, that-being-said, I feel the quality, fair pricing, availible supplies (most this must be bought online through thier vet store, now), and genuine concern for my pets that Doctor Palmquist brought to the business is now extreemly lacking. My new neighbor who I recommended to this company has 8 dogs, I have 7 pets, and my other neighbor has two dogs. We have all changed vets do to the aforementioned reasons stated above. In the past, if I'd of called Doctor Palmquist and stated: I think my pet is dying. No matter how busy or booked he was he would have had me bring the pet in to Pine City, or the Wisconsin clinic. He would have kept it for hours, treating it between wellness visits and surgeries. I know he would because he did just that with my cat (she had pneumonia). I recently had a similar situation with my dog. At night she was normal, but by morning she was falling over, couldn't walk, was crying, and her ears were burning up. I called and said, " I think my dog is dying" and gave the details. I was turned away by the new owner. To make matterse worse, because of Covid-19, no other vet was taking new clients. The Emergency hospital couldn't take her. I had to drive an hour and a half for her to be seen by a vet who diagnosed the problem in 10-15 minutes. Searching by internet and phone for ANYONE (regardless of price, or distance) who would see my dog, then driving an hour and a half away, wasted valuable time. I feel that Wild River Veternarian Clinic no longer cares about our pets as Dr. Palmquist did and we as a family suffered the consequences.

Wonderful veterinary clinic.. they truly care about your animals. Wouldn’t take my dogs or cats anywhere else.

They were really informative to me I just got a new kitten and I haven't been able to bring him in due to Covid 19 once they re open they were more then willing to tale my Mr. Pickles in as a new patient they lady I spoke with told me to call her any time from then until they open of I had any concerns and if it was something serious she would see him right away so not to worry. This is the only vet I will ever take my animals too Mr. Pickles is the first pet iv had since I was 16 I'm 27 now and I called probably 10 vets before I called wild river and they by far were the most informative and didn't treat me like I was stupid thank you so much Wild River Veterinary clinic you guys are amazing!!!!!

Did not actually visit vet clinic, had to deal with obtaining animal records. They were courteous and helpful. I was able to get the necessary records emailed to me within 30 minutes or less, appreciate the efficiency.
