We had an appointment today for help deciding if our old dog is in so much pain he should be put to sleep. They cancelled our appointment the same day and can't get him back in for a week.

This person Ashley works in your office. I have never been so appalled by an online presence in my life. She sides with abusers and frankly I would never trust anyone, person or animal in their care. Absolutely disgusting.

Really friendly, professional staff and super quick to get in for an appointment for my kitten.

I had an amazing experience at this clinic. Even considering I brought in my pet mouse (1 of 2) these friendly and helpful Drs. (and amazing staff) Space were amazing and left me with a good memory of my pets!

They have taken good care of my elderly cat over the years. All of the staff, from the front desk folks to the vet techs are very friendly and helpful. Dr. Teel, in particular, goes above and beyond. I always leave appointments feeling heard and that my cat has been treated kindly. They’ve got a great system for social distancing in place for COVID. Definitely a trusted source for veterinary care!

They used to be great until they started to loose staff and not replace staff. We had a vet emergency and they said I’m sorry we can’t help her until 2 to 3 weeks from now. HELLO ITS AN EMERGENCY. No sympathy or working to resolve the issue. We had to go to an emergency vet that was willing to help. What’s worse is a month later we are getting charged the wellness plan fee. Fortunately this is our last month honestly it should be refunded as we can’t even schedule our pup within a reasonable amount of time. Will not go back here again!

Finding a place to park was a little tricky, but once I saw the sign stating parking was around back, it was a smooth ride from there on out. I came here for a visit with my parrolette. During covid you can't go inside, but they have found a great work around. You park in a spot, call in, they pick up your pet, and then they call you and speak to you as they are doing the checkup. While it is a little disappointing I didn't get to watch them, I am happy at how things played out. The doctor was very knowledgeable and friendly. I will be back again for any of my aviaian needs.

My cat needed a last-minute appointment only a few days after she was adopted. The staff helped me find a spot that day, even though it was super last-minute, treated me with kindness, and helped my cat feel truly comfortable. They provided excellent care, and my cat made a swift recovery. Thank you! I felt informed and respected throughout the whole process.

I’ve been taking my dog Mellow here for a few years now and they take such great care of him! He is pretty high maintenance and i know when I take him for appointments that he is in the best hands. All the staff and vets are so kind and knowledgeable. They really know how to deal with any kind of pet and personality! Highly recommend! You won’t be disappointed.

VCA on Cedar has an amazing staff. The Doctors and staff care about each patient as if they were family. My cats have been going here for several years and are always treated very well. I'd recommend this vet clinic.

This clinic saved and guided me through my cats end-of-life. Up until the moment my cat died, they took care of her, I never felt pressured to pursue a treatment or test. They truly showed they cared through their actions, prompt responses, and overall demeanor. When it came time to put my cat down, they reassured me and counseled me that it was truly the best option and gave me the time and space to grieve. They always tried their best to get me and my cat in as soon as they could. Could not recommend any higher. This was my first time interacting with a Vet Clinic and they have set the bar very high. I will be getting care here for any future animals if distance allows it. Thank you.

Every two weeks I bring Kirby my black lab in for his Aqua shots to help his arthritis. he always comes out wagging his tail. We've been doing this for several months now I'm really happy doctor Blake introduced me to this procedure it's made it so that he can use his back legs much more freely and not have the same amount of pain that he did have before the shots. As it turns out it's like acupuncture for people but because dogs won't sit still that long it's a quick shot with the same results and it's worked wonders for Kirby he is 10 years old. The staff is always extra careful and gentle with him and he always uses the elevator to go up and down and he goes up and down the ramp that I made for him to walk into my SUV. Thank you again doctor Blake for introducing Kirby and myself to this technique that you use.

I don't know if 5 stars is enough. I took my cat who was injured and losing her mind into the vca after work (5:30 appt time was a lifesaver) they actually got me in same day! Friendly kind staff, fast easy phone consultation and agreement, and they already followed up with her the next day. Amazing. Love this place already. from my

Our experience with VCA Cedar has been brief but positive. We acquired our first reptile through the mail (never again) and he was nearly frozen when he arrived. We rushed him to the clinic and Dr. Kellar was extremely gentle and compassionate with us but also realistic. The little guy only survived a few hours. The entire staff has been kind and supportive. Everything was clearly explained and costs were discussed up front. They worked closely with us as we filed an animal cruelty claim in another state. We especially appreciated the tail print and sympathy card we got in the mail. We only owned him for a few hours, but they understood. We got lots of support and information (since we’re new to reptiles) for reputable local breeders and suppliers. When we get our next reptile, we’ll be taking them to Dr. Kellar.

We had to euthanize our cat, and our cat Dr. wrote us a hand written letter, acknowledging our sorrow, that kind of care is exactly what we want in dealing with our pets.

I have been going to this vet since we moved to Minneapolis. The staff are great. They helped us out one dog down and we had the option to be with him or they could take him away. They care for our two new dogs as well as assorted other pets. They do take the pets away for shots and other checks and I know some people don't like that but the pets always come back happy. They have exotic animal vets as well. This is good for us as we have a box turtle that needs a check up from time to time. They really love their animals there.
