Not too smart to leave the store unsupervised for 20min... me and another lady were just standing there waiting for someone to help us. No one at the registers or one the floor. Finally when someone came out she just walked right past me while making eye contact..

The entire staff at the grooming area and at check out could not have been nicer, more friendly and more professional. It was so busy and yet they took the time to be friendly and happy. Its a nice break from a lot of the crabby retail workers during the holiday. My friend and I actually commented to each other what a positive experience it was to shop there.

Can you really go wrong with Petco? The only issue was nobody could tell me the difference between Thaw Paw and Safe Paw.

The girl closing 12/13 was so kind, we came in a few minutes before they close to get cat food and she got us checked out in time without any hassle, very professional

Petco is awesome, found some fun sales, toys and collars for pups. Love their sale fun items. Wish they had even more often!!!! Its fun to get treats and toys or new beds for pets.

Employees are friendly & very helpful. There are so many products to choose from & prices are not outrageous!!

They stock nothing my cats eat or play with, perhaps because they are so busy catering to dogs and their owners. Not one offer of assistance. I was raised in a retail business owned by my parents and worked in retail much of my life, including management. Customer service is non-existent now.

Petco is my favorite store when buying things for animals that deserve something special. The prices are affordable and I enjoy seeing all the dogs that come into the store to visit hoping to get a treat. That's the best part.. Each day is a special day!

The team members all were very cool and friendly. They treated my dog Tody with care. Great place from the moment the sliding doors open up.

The workers were very helpful when I bought my kids a hamster.

New puppy had to get some grooming they gave us a great discount deal service was wonderful I'll definitely be back there soon

They did the dogs nails and cleaned his ears quickly and for like $15. We use them frequently for this.

A great store with a lot of variety for dogs and cats. They have nutritionists on staff if you have any questions. Their selection of birds, small animals, buggies, and fish are good too.

I called them and I left a message to make an appointment for my two dogs grooming. Never called me back. Other time I called them again this time someone took my call and said right now I’m busy but as soon I am free I will call you back , that was 2 weeks ago. I have been trying to make an appointment for 2 months no body helps me, I am so disappointed.

Puppy had shots there. Vet excellent. Very informative. Work staff very pleasant.

I’m sad to write this as I like giving the benefit of the doubt but I’m quite displeased with our experience. Typically we go to the Minnetonka location and the vets there are kind, attentive and caring. Unfortunately I did not feel that way at the Bloomington location. They were short staffed (I get that happens but also not my responsibility) and the system was down which caused a major delay (I guess?) I dropped off my baby at 10am and was told about 3 hrs. She said I’d get a text when he was finished. So I went about my errands for the day and came back at 1:30 after not hearing from them. I heard him crying in the back and it broke my heart. He doesn’t like the blow dryer so he had to air dry (understandable) so they said another 45 min but I’ll get a call when there’s about 20 min left. No call - no text - nothing. So I return at 2:45 (1:15 min later) and he was finished & crying again in the back. When I saw him... I was so disappointed. His shave is uneven, his tail looks pretty terrible and his Afro has no fade, just a choppy line between shave and long hair. (He’s a poodle) They did give me a discount which is appreciated but we won’t be coming back. It smells terrible and I feel soooo horrible I left my dog there for so long ???????? Not recommended.

Out of stock! No signage explaining. Manager who told me to just change dog food. No accountability, no explanation. Just blame. This was the second Petco I visited with horrible customer service and no stock. I do understand that the lack of stock may not be their fault but the lack of concern and kindness is ridiculous. Do you think good customer service is shrugging your shoulders in response to a customer upset???

Has stuff in stock more often than other locations!

Staff is super knowledgeable and friendly. My deduction of stars comes from the nauseating and over powering smell of cleaner. Its like bleach and lemon scent pinesol on steroids. I understand that pets are allowed in the store and probably frequently mark territory, etc. But ventilation has to be better not only for customer and employees but animals that are kept in cages there. I could barely stand being in there for more then 10 min. I felt bad for all the animals in there. Toxic.

We had two dog's groomed. One was very nervous, (he's one of those dogs, probably traumatized before we adopted him) and the groomer called to ask if we could pick him up and reschedule a time when it would be less busy so she could give him the VIP treatment which would be less stressful for him. Very much appreciated. Our other dog was fine, and since he is a white dog with long hair, we could definitely see the difference. Very bright white and super soft. The stylist, Cassandra in Bloomington, did a great job!
