They have always taken such great care of all our pets and foster pets and are always honest with the difficult questions.

My senior pup has been in several times over the last few months. After leaving today, my boyfriend asked me "how is everyone working there so nice?" That's really spot on. We've seen three of the veterinarians and I've really liked them all. The techs and administration staff are great. Everyone is super kind to my dog and me, very knowledgeable, clear with their diagnosis and instructions, and put me and my dog at ease. I love that they send out an after visit summary with all the info they talked about and medications etc. The prices always seem very reasonable and fair and I've never felt like I was being guilted into doing an unnecessary gamut of testing/imaging. I've recommended this clinic to friends who have asked and several of my friends already take their animals here.

Very kind, organized and treated my doggie with great care for his hotspots. It was a no contact visit due to covid safety concerns, and everyone communicated really well over phone throughout the process. They even found some teeth issues and sent recommendations for diet since my dog is overweight, all things I didn't specifically bring him in for. We just moved here and they were the nearest place to get him seen asap, and I'm so happy with them that we'll be using them from now on for both our dog's primary care.

Two weeks ago, my beautiful chocolate lab was diagnosed with a cancer. A newly created injection was used to treat it. These photos illustrate the healing process. First photo is the day after the Stelfonta (tigilanol tiglate) injection. Second photo taken today, 4 days later. Incredible!! I actually met the doctor who helped create it. He was very pleased with the results! Thank you Dr. Ann Lind for suggesting this treatment. ????

I highly recommend North Shore Vet! Last summer I adopted a 5 month old Shepherd mix rescue with a torn and infected spay site. The veterinary staff at North Shore conducted a repair surgery and provided exceptional care to get her to full health. Over the last year, North Shore has supported us in many of her health needs including vaccinations, anxiety reduction, and digestive issues. The staff is professional, caring, and knowledgeable. As a new pet owner, they’ve been resourceful and patient with my questions. The office also strives to be fear-free by providing pre-appointment instructions and ensuring a calm presence in the space. This has been crucial as my dog is anxious and reactive. North Shore has responded responsibly to the increased stressors and demands of the pandemic by implementing safety protocols, providing exceptional service, and directing owners to additional resources. I’m very grateful for their services and support.

I have gone to North Shore Vet for all of my pets for years now. The staff there has always been so kind and compassionate. They do a fantastic job with making sure my pets and myself are welcome. When I've had serious issues with my animals, they've always been able to schedule me within a few hours. During the appointments they're communicative in what is happening and what the next steps are. During regular checkups, they're great at keeping both my dogs and cats calm and distracted with treats or canned cheese. When one of my dogs passed away several years ago they sent a card. It wasn't much but it still meant a lot.

I've dealt with a number of veterinarians in my lifetime, including my experience as a breeder as well as the money locations I chose to live in around the country. Dr H is awesome.. the whole team is fantastic: thorough people with integrity and empathy and personable professionalism. I'm so thrilled that we found them.. give them a try it's the only way you'll know how much better it is..just makes everything better when the vet can come to you ????

Simply an amazing veterinary program.

Our dog is very nervous at the vet, so North Shore being a Fear Free clinic is perfect. They are so kind with him and work with us to make sure he has the best care. We can always rely on them and they are quick to respond as well as following up with any information we need or just to check on him!

North shore isn’t my normal vet, but we had an emergency and they were able to take us in immediately. Dr Lisa and the staff did an excellent job taking care of my dog Trouble and made sure I felt informed about the procedure and post-op care. The pricing seemed pretty standard, but most importantly, my dog received great care and absolutely loved the folks working there - she didn’t want to leave!

The vet and his assistant were wonderful. They were so caring and gentle with my cat. I will use them again.

I adopted a rescue during the pandemic, and many other clinics in Duluth weren’t taking patients at the time due to the lockdown. Thankfully, North Shore Veterinary was. I’ve had great experiences with this clinic. Dr. Jaimi Johnson is very kind and helpful. When my dog was experiencing some digestive issues, she ran some tests and called me back the very next day with the lab results. They also have a pharmacy in-clinic, which is convenient. Pricing is very reasonable. Staff is great and super responsive. I’ll definitely continue taking my dog here because I know they will give her the upmost kindness and care.

The staff are amazing. Their services have not diminished in any way since the pandemic started. Their process for bringing in pets is smooth, easy, and seamless. I love that they not only have their own parking lot with slot numbers so the techs can meet you directly at your vehicle to grab your pet, but they keep it plowed too. There's no snow build up so maneuvering is easy in winter.

Always kind and compassionate care provided to my dogs. They are very gentle and you can tell they all absolutely love what they do. Always provided with a quote and explanation of services prior to completing. Very knowledgeable and explains it in a way I understand. Very thankful to have a trusted vet close to home.
