This is the ONLY groomer we would recommend. Our skittish little dog always came back a mess from the two previous groomers we had tried. I won’t take our pup anywhere but Downriver grooming. Professional, personable and patient - and most importantly our guy never comes back traumatized from a grooming.

They always take their time and are especially patient with my senior dog. I’m so happy to have found them and so are both of my dogs. We recently moved downriver and needed a new groomer. We decided to go to Downriver Grooming due to so many recommendations! So happy we did! From start to finish, it was a great experience. It was easy to get on the schedule, they were friendly when I dropped off, and then at pick up they lended a helping hand with the dogs while my 6 month old needed me. I will definitely be back! Thank you so much for accommodating me.

I can't say enough good things about this place!! I take my cat & dog there. I couldn't get my dog out of the truck (she hates getting her nails clipped) So the young lady working there came out to my truck & did her nails!! I'm beyond thankful & would recommend this place 100%

Thank you so much for the de-shedding treatment for my cat this morning! You must have made her so comfortable because when we got home she did not even hide! It was her first time at a groomer and I was so nervous I cried when I left her! So thank you for taking such good care of her! Looking forward to making it a monthly thing!

I arrived for a scheduled appointment at 7 a.m. and was refused service and turned away. I have since tried to call several times and my phone number has been blocked. VERY unprofessional!

Ashley & her team did a beautiful cut on Smoke. Though he is 8 years old, this was his first experience being groomed. He’s a Norwegian Forrest Cat & we really didn’t want to tamper w/ his front area too much nor his huge fuzzy tail. He did need to be shaved good hygienically & sometimes gets a bit matted on top of his hip area. He didn’t seem stressed at all when we picked him up. Now that he’s home, he seems very comfortable w/ his new look.We are exceptionally pleased w/ the whole experience. We will definitely be returning for future grooming on our Smoke. Thank you again to all at Downriver Grooming Company.

Isabel did great with my scaredy-cat dog. Jaina looks and smells great. Sorry she tried to eat your blow dryer, but thank you for being patient with her. Was her first time at the groomer and they did good trying to keep her comfortable. ❤️

I would definitely recommend. I have a soft coated wheaten terrier and a pomeranian. They have been a godsend.

My mother needed a rescue dog totally groomed, de-flea'd, bathed, trimmed, combed, rubbed, scrubbed, filed, deodorized, vacuumed, buffed and conditioned. And then perhaps a pretty feminine ribbon attached to the mop on her top. And The Downriver Grooming Company achieved a maximum score with their achievement! The groomers and everyone were fantastic. This dog needed lots of attention in a loving way and they delivered! Thank you!

I have a rescue he is a English Bulldog. He has come along way but is afraid of alot and doesn’t warm up well to new people. I have to tell you I would highly recommended Downriver Grooming. He came home so handsome and proud. They were wonderful to him and did a awesome job!! I was worried the last groomer we used both my dogs came home half done. They are both short haired so it’s not hard to tell. Downriver grooming did such a great job on my Chubbs his nails looked great and he was new little man. If your looking for a permanent groomer to me this is the place! Wish I found them sooner!

This company is super caring and loving i have a German shepherd puppy 9 weeks old and i was nervous to take him to the grooming place to leave him for the first time ever and isabella i believe her name was ( hopefully that's right i have a terrible memory for names) but anyway she was sooo nice and caring and positive energy and i could tell she was really caring and loving to my puppy lightening bolt. And he got washed dried and nails cut and a cute little doggy bandana He was clean smelled good and so fluffy and clean fur and on top of the great caring service the prices are very good and affordable and i will definitely bring him back to her and i highly recommend them if you love your pet as much as i do and need a groomer to trust this is the place . Thanks guys :)

Was the first time bringing my 7yr old dog to a groomer, had to admit I was nervous! But they did great! His fur was so shiny and fluffy. O and he smelled so pretty! Not only that he was so happy. I WILL DEFINITELY BRING HIM BACK! and spread the word...
