I've been going to Waterford Vet for about a year now. The front desk staff (Marge included), the techs and the vets are all wonderful. They genuinely care about each animal they treat, and it shows. Banfield has a wellness plan that's reasonably priced, and makes it easier for someone like me on a budget to manage care for my two kitties. They are communicative, which is a plus in a world where you are limited to the waiting room or in your car. I'll keep going to them as long as they'll have me (and Frida and Jynnie)!

When we showed up to get the 2nd round of vaccines for our puppy they couldn't find us in the system. To our surprise they canceled our appointment 30 minutes prior and called to tell us we had one the next day instead. After calling them back to confirm we have a new appointment they told us the new one is not available either and could take no responsibility for the call because it was made by "corporate". Do not take your animals here for vaccinations if you are looking for somewhere reliable as appointment confirmations mean nothing to them. The person on the phone tried to make us feel stupid for not having a "verbal confirmation" of the new appointment when they were the ones who left a message 30 minutes prior. Along with most other vets they are booked for the next 2 months leaving us and potentially yourself in an upleasant situation.

At best I give them a one star. I loved Waterford Vet but since Banfield Corp took over they couldn't care less about you or your animal. They would not let us go I to the facility when our dog had to be put down. I should not have to say any more.

This facility is amazing, the honest legitimate concern and care they showed me and my Fur Son Buddy is how every Animal Hospital should do it. They showed honest concern about Buddy's health and care, they made me aware of everything going on and I am beyond grateful to have found this amazing team. Kelly was my first contact, she was so awesome, the triage nurse Melissa showed compassion and concern and Dr.McKeithen made sure I was aware of the diagnoses and follow up care needed, and NO they did NOT charge an arm and a leg, so if you are seeking an amazing Dr. for your fur babies, do yourself a favor, do your Fur Babies a favor and bring them here, I am so thankful and grateful.

Most repulsive and unprofessional experience with an animal hospital I have ever had. I was dropping off my friends cat to be neutered while she was out of town. The animal hospital was aware that the owner was not dropping off the cat and confirmed the appointment. Both the receptionist and vet tech were unbelievably rude and short with me as soon as they became aware I was not the owner. They proceeded to tell me they had no information on file for the appointment even though the appointment was verified a few days ago and the owner has an insurance health plan with this animal hospital. After the owner of the cat heard about this monstrosity, she called the hospital to clarify their clear incompetence of scheduling and communication. Immediately the receptionist was unprofessional to the cat owner by saying “your friend or whoever, was crazy” and other names were said. What business allows their employees to do there job incorrectly, be rude, bad mouth clients to other customers and be combative without any consequences. This business is unprofessional, unorganized, not able to provide any positive level of customer service, clearly can’t schedule appointments properly, and have zero care for your time as a client. I wouldn’t recommend this business to anyone who wants a positive experience.

Took our Daisy there for cherry eye surgery. They had a surgeon there that was familiar with that surgery so we trusted them. Well that was our first mistake. We had both eyes done and one eye was looking wrong within two days called and took her in and they prescribed a drop that might help from a vet that was not familiar with cherry eye. She openly omitted she had little to no experience with this condition. Three days later we took he back the surgeon prescribed a steroid. The eye got worse and her eye ball was 3/4 covered with a cherry eye that was worse when we took her in. Finally tried again to get the Banner vets to look at her and the same vet said she did not know what to do and tried to call around. Did not here back all day we had to call to find out anything. Finally they said I needed to find a vet that was experienced in this . So It took one hour and I found a vet that will look at her eye Make sure it was ok and what was going on. She will need surgery to fix what the first surgeon did wrong. The Banner manager called me the following week siding with his vets saying it was a 50/50 chance it will work. I SHOULD EXCEPT THAT ONE EYE IS GOOD THE OTHER EYE BAD. THAT IS MY 50/50 CHANCE HE SAID. HE ALSO SAID THAT IS THE CHANCE WE TAKE BUT AFTER TWO DAYS THERE SURGERY FAILED AND I SHOULD EXCEPT THAT. HMMMMMMM Banner doesnt care about the discomfort our dog is in or that they screwed up on the surgery. They have there money they dont care. PLEASE DONT TAKE YOUR PETS THERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT THEM

It was Zoey's 1st visit at this banfield vet since we moved here from myrtle beach sc, I highly recommend this vet here in waterford Michigan, both employees I dealt with dropping if & picking up were very friendly, when the vet called me she was very nice & even called the next morning, excellent care for zoey..

After spending around $1,000 here in 2018-19 for my pet and not receiving an answer or remedy for his ailments, I tried cancelling an inherited monthly plan that my roommate had started today. I just talked to customer service, explaining to them that I am now broke due to unemployment and the pandemic and that I can no longer make monthly payments. They essentially told me too bad, you owe until your plan is up in May, and if you cancel it will put the original owner (ex roommate) on collections. I can’t pay my rent. I explained to them how I am financially struggling and offered to pay this months payment (even though I haven’t taken my pet there in over 6months) was told essentially to kick rocks and that I have to pay..NO compassion from a greedy business to a struggling person trying to pay bills. 0/5 stars for not having a heart during this time!

Waterford Veterinary Clinic takes good care of my dog and me. They're always there for me, they are polite and courteous. They care about my dog. I would refer them in a heart.

Very expensive and the lady on the phone was rude. The doctor was very nice but apparently, a vet technician told me, they have a reputation of misdiagnosing. I took my cat somewhere else instead.

Good experience. Organized for visitors. Professional friendly staff. Safe distance protocol is adhered to. Need better / Bigger mask requirements sign on door. Saw customer walk in without one while I waited in my car.

I couldn't go in with her, but the techs were very kind & friendly. The doctor called with her diagnosis & prescription instructions. It was all very easy & our girl is okay.

The Vet and staff was amazing for our first time and our first pet. Not knowing what we was getting into but they made it a smooth process and Bear(my cockapoo) seemed very comfortable. So we was very Happy

Great dr. Great hrs if you work some locations are open as early as 7:00. My dog ( a Portuguese water dog) had to have emergency surgery, he was bandaged pretty heavily after but it was a simple tie on bandage and any vet should be able to change it in 15 min and you are okay. Well after his surgery which was the week of Thanksgiving, his usual vet would not see him until after Thanksgiving, he needed his bandage changed every 2 days so after Thanksgiving would have been 5 days to long and who knows what could have happened. So I was kinda starting to panic when I saw the new Banfield pet hospital sign and I called as soon as I got home. The woman could not have been nicer, calmer, and more understanding. As I was on the phone with her she was calling the emergency vet to get his records and got back with me and had him scheduled for the first apt in the morning the next day for the bandage change. They are what I consider a full service vet they understand emergency happen and are willing to help. Also their prices are very competitive. Dr. Emily Alampi is great.

Absolutely wonderful! They have payment options for preventative care, they thoroughly discuss your pet's options before doing anything, and have good customer service. I love how the doctors call us directly, and I have NEVER felt rushed by them when I ask all the questions I have! Based on the last statement alone, I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone and everyone!!
