The staff at this clinic have been the absolute best in regards to tending to my McKenzies health needs. Dr Henderson is the best vet doc I have ever dealt with. She is very, very knowledgable in the veterinary field and her diagnosis is always spot on. The staff at this clinic are the best and always treat my McKenzie as if she belonged to them personally. I have had dogs through out my entire life and this is the best vet clinic by far! I highly recommend this clinic for all your family pets needs!!

This clinic has been there for my family for years, always great and consistent help. Never had a problem with surgery or any treatments, and have always been treated great. EDIT: Everything has changed, this is no longer a good place of veterinary business.

They always take good care of my senior dog, Buddy. He has been a loyal client since he was a puppy and he is 16 years old now. We love going here. The staff and doctors (especially Dr. Ferguson) are always very friendly, helpful and understanding. They put up with my worry wart ways and understand that Buddy is my baby. I highly recommend going to this veterinary clinic!

Took 2 months on a response for surgery then once he had surgery they said he had dissolving stitches.....????‍♀️???? well you left a regular stitch in him and never even called to see how he was doing. Not happy with the turn out on either of the surgeries you preformed. We will not return nor recommend.

We have been going to this vet for the last four years and have seen a negative path in regards to customer service and responsiveness. I have had several not so good experiences here lately and the last one made us take the decision to move to a different vet. This was when our puppy took a small piece of chocolate. We wanted to make sure that he would be ok and called the vet. First comment was that they were too busy and did not have time to assist us or see him that day. Nothing about how much did he take or anything else. I had to discuss with the secretary to actually get to speak to a knowledgeable person. After several comments back and forth I finally got to speak to a vet and found that the dose was so small so it was no issue. The vet was ok helpful but it was so frustrating to get there that I am sure other places will be more grateful for a loyal customer. I just don't feel I should have to fight the team at the vet to get help when we actually need it. We were a loyal customer and have always been taking our dogs here. Now we will be going to a different vet. clinic and hope the team will actually take the time to read this review and make some changes so other customer will have a better experience

I love this vet - I adopted a rescue pibble- she was 10 years old when I got her- the vet was so kind to her (she had never had a vet visit) gave her shots and tests, no problems- On our most recent visit my dog was wagging her tail and happy to see Dr. Ferguson and that means a lot! Having your pet be comfortable and no stigma being a rescue pitt - awesome- prices very good too and no hard sell on unnecessary tests! Won't go anywhere else- they also squeezed her in during the pandemic when I had a concern with her spay scar- no charge except antibiotics (her spay was through a different entity)

We have been a part of the Lyon Vet Clinic since 2011 when we brought our first home. We knew nothing about having a dog. However, thanks to the team at LVC, we learned how to be great pet parents. Now we have two and they are extremely well cared for both home and medically. Highly recommend this office/family.

I took my dog and cats here before taking a job as a tech at another clinic and loved it. However, I had a rather unfortunate experience with my horse. Dr. Engers responded to a call after my horse had been in a pasture accident, my usual vet could not make it. This was the first time I had ever met or dealt with Dr. Engers. He assessed my horse and found him to have a fractured leg, and recommended euthanasia. I was an inconsolable mess, and while I don’t think Dr. Engers was trying to be cruel, he was simply unsympathetic to what I was going through. After assessing my horse, he said something to the effect of “it’s broken, listen to the clicking noise here” while flexing his leg, which was totally mortifying. I didn’t want to listen- I trusted the opinion of the veterinarian and there was obviously something wrong as my poor gelding had considerable swelling at the fracture site. He was then trying to discuss methods of removing my horse from the farm before he even hit the ground- I understand it’s a time sensitive issue, but I was still reeling from the news and hysterically crying. I didn’t get anything along the lines of “my condolences” or “I’m sorry for your loss”. The staff in clinic were always very welcoming and friendly, however my first experience with the equine services was terrible and quite cold. I understand it was a meeting under awful circumstances, but I still felt as though it could’ve gone differently.

Faster appointment, friendly place... My dog Ruby loves to go there so obviously have to give 5 stars!

I didn't feel comfortable here. The doctor I felt talked down to me about choices I was making as a puppy owner and didn't discuss with me what the cost of the visit was. I was given a flea and tick prevention as well as heartworm prevention that I didn't ask for, nor do I like the brand they gave me and was forced to pay for. The visit was too expensive for what they did. I will not be going back.

Very personable Dr.s and staff is compassionate and caring.They do not rush through your visit and explain test results in layman's terms.

The first visit to Lyon Veterinary was outstanding. Dr Ferguson was very professional but at the same time friendly and reassuring about the medical issues with our dog.

We had an urgent matter with our dog and our regular vet could not get us in, but Lyon Vet could an hour after I called! They treated Macy like she's been going there forever. We made the switch for them to now be our regular vet! Very happy!

My husband and I have been taking our cats to Lyon Veterinary Clinic for 20 years and we have recently moved from South Lyon to Livonia and we travel half hour to see these great doctors and technicians they are very compassionate and treat our pets like they are their own we love this office. Dr. Ferguson and Dr. Henderson take their time with any questions we may have regardless of how busy they are. That tells me they care about the well-being of our fur babies. They are like extended family to us. I would recommend them to everyone.

This was our first time at Lyon Veterinary Clinic and we couldn't be happier! We have found our "Forever Vet" ???? The entire staff were amazing from start to finish. They were so accommodating, knowledgeable, and just down right good at what they do. They made us and our pups feel so comfortable. We highly recommended them and look forward to working with them for many years to come.

My fiancé and I took our dog here to get neutered. They were very informative before the surgery answering all of my questions and even calling me to make sure I didn’t have any confusion. They were very prompt on the day of, and the surgery went very well. My dogs doing great, and the cuts healed fast and clean. Would highly recommend this vet.

Dr. Henderson and the staff are very good people, would always go to Lyon vet clinic when we need and have also referred several friends to this place.

Very friendly staff and doctors. They are always willing to help with any of my concerns regarding my precious little friend. They treat my animal like one of my family which she is.

Do not recommend. Avoid this clinic if you care for your pet. They botched up a routine neutering procedure that required us to rush our puppy to an emergency clinic (within hours after neutering) costing us over $1500.

Lyon Veterinary Clinic staff and Drs. are Awesome. They are very caring and always willing to help. I love how they care about our family members and know them by name. Thanks for everything you do.

The staff at Lyon Veterinary Clinic are top notch! They are so good with our puppy and made every effort to keep everyone safe during the covid crisis. I will be recommending them to all of my friends.

Great vets and great staff we have been going there for years

Very competent, caring, & friendly!

Took my dog to get neutered and the same day I had to rush him to the emergency Vet in Novi to get him a second surgery due to a blood clot that swole to the size of a baseball. I would not recommend this place to any of my friends or family as the next day when I called the vet office they denied any wrong doing and just said they would get back to me, still waiting. What they put my dog thru for a simple surgery was very hurtful and most importantly the way it was handled.

They were really lovely to work with! They initially saw my cat via a virtual visit due to the stay at home order, and then I was able to drop him off for blood work. Dr. Erin was very kind and helpful, and their services are affordable.

This office is amazing! They working me in after switching vets, due to lack of help. After getting the right meds and diagnosis my dog is feeling much better. We have had ongoing issues for the last two months with the previous vet. Lyon Veterinary Clinic was so extremely helpful and I am glad that I found them.

Everyone there is great! Jack the terriorist is not always easy. They work their magic on him.

I have found the staff at Lyon Veterinary Clinic to be very professional, compassionate, caring individuals. From the easy stuff to the very difficult, they are extremely competent. I've used them for many years, and most recently, when they were totally slammed after opening following the COVID shut down, they made time to see my dog on an emergent basis. Highly recommended!
