They take such good care of my dog. Staff is very compassionate, kind and understanding. Prices are reasonable. I wouldn't take Penelope anywhere else.

Just had my dog literally thrown at me because I didn’t want her by herself with the nurse. Horrible place, horrible nurses, second time there and definitely not going back.

The kind and helpful staff have been wonderful with the care of our cats. But in conversation with other pet owners Thompson's seems to be a bit pricey compared to the same services elsewhere.

I’m quite taken back, as I have left a raving review in the past. As I’m reading some of the reviews, they claim that they’re struggling with staff and vet shortages. I recently rescued another cat. Everything I’m reading online says to call my Vet and they will either 1) answer questions and/or 2) refer you to someone that will. I just called and asked for a Doc to contact me at their convenience, to get some advice and suggestions. Dr. Erica Leoffler was not willing to help me. Insisted I brought BOTH cats in for appointments. I’m certain there is someone more professional and helpful in the area. I’ve been using them for about 3 or so years, never disappointed. Today, I’m annoyed enough to leave 2 stars. Sooooo busy and understaffed but insists on taking my money for 2 appointments. (Mind you, neither cat is sick, the new rescue is just being a bit aggressive and I can’t figure out what “kind”- territorial aggression? Play aggression? Redirected aggression? Underlining causes?) ah-well. I’m so disappointed I might even drive 45 minutes passed Thomson’s, back to Wilson’s!!

Prices went up, new vet, still waiting in your car can't go in with your pet.

Awesome place, friendly staff, very caring and accommodating. Never once felt like I was being sold something, and they were able to answer all my questions, as well as make us feel much better about our dog dealing with old age. I will be bringing any of my animals here along with recommending them to everyone I know.

Very kind to me & my animals. They could get us in for an appointment pretty quickly for our new pup, while our other vet was booked for months.

Price are to high for routine exam. I never paid over 400.00 dollar. When Dr. Munich and Ms. Anne was there . They are costing you more because a corporation own the clinic now .I will be finding a new place to take my babies!!

I was told on the phone my visit would be $41 but they didn't tell me an x-ray was included and nobody was allowed to go inside with my cat. We were left waiting in the car with my cat 15 minutes after my appointment time. I won't be returning!

They are fast!! We took our kitty to have her claws trimmed. She was done in less than 5 mins.

Have been going here for many years, the vets have changed (retired), but the same kind atmosphere remains. Very CoVid conscious.

Friendly and caring staff. Had a great experience here and they were fantastic with my 2 little dogs.

The place certainly has changed since new ownership. Took my dog in for a yearly shot, thinking as in the past she'd be seeing a vet. I ask if they could just look at a lump on her side. They did and just like that I was charged an additional $40 for an office visit, finding out my dog had seen a vet and for the other a vet tech. My dog had always been seen by the vet and not an additional charge. This visit was $228 after paying close to $500 just a couple of months ago for 2 of my other dogs. Needless to say I will be looking for a veterinarian and place owned by other than dr Bankstahl. The charges should reflect that of a tech, not a vet if you're going to utilize them. Or heres a notion, advise existing customers if charges ahead of time and the switching of practices

They are not correct when they schedule an appointment . They left me an appointment at 10 o'clock and I waited for more than an hour outside

Staff were very nice, exam and treatment of my cat thorough, all ready showing improvement.

My family rescued a 2 year old cat with no medical history. I called Thomson and spoke with Anne. She answered all my questions and explained everything in detail and with such kindness. Rocky had his first appointment within a week. The Doctor and staff were wonderful in explaining Rocky's treatment. He had his vaccines and exam and was scheduled to be neutered. After his neutering the Doctor called and explained everything. I picked him up, got home and reviewed the bill, they had cleaned his ears and clipped his nails at no charge! They called and checked on him and even sent a card with his picture on it. You all are just awesome and I will tell all my friends and family about you! ????

After using another Vet for some time it was time to move on. This place has exceed all expectations. Competent, knowledgeable, caring. Everything we need for our pets.

On a recent visit we found out that the clinic has all new veterinarians now which made me uneasy at first since I'm very overprotective and was used to having the same vet for years. My dog was suffering from another episode of skin agitation, hot spots, biting at himself, etc and we had tried everything over the years with no luck. I was just desperate for some solution to at least help him. One of the new vets who saw him accurately diagnosed him with seasonal allergies on the first visit with him and gave him a shot that gave him several weeks of total relief. It was a hallelujah moment when it started working within 48 hours. They still have the same receptionist as well who is always a total sweetheart. I would still recommend this place to anyone.

Always been good to my pets knowledgeable caring small not corporate like to go to places that are neighborhood friendly

I adopted a cat earlier this year and have taken her here twice now, with GREAT service each time. They are taking great precautions with covid, will pick up your pet from your car while you wait outside. Then you talk to the vet and pay over the phone. They even called a week after the appointments to check up on my cat :’) Word of caution, if you keep calling their phone number and the call doesn’t go through it’s because they only have one phone line. So just wait a few minutes and try again

I've been coming here for almost 10 years now. New doctors have taken over. Almost waiting an hour outside in the car. I asked for water, nobody brought any, but they said she was next and five minutes later she got in. Please take this one star as a reminder to stop over booking your customers. Not only that but my dog has all of this green stuff around her mouth I assume is maybe from medicine but nobody told me. I probably should have just called and spoke to you the doctor directly but that has a lot less of an impact. Maybe this way you will consider changing your ways please. I know everywhere has a help wanted sign right now. I know we are in the time of Corona. Book less customers for the morning then because there was four of us all waiting outside. The other gentleman I talked to he's been coming there for 20 years and we will give you the benefit of the doubt that Corona does not help with being understaffed and the mental constitutions of people. Please just take the time to consider and have some more empathy for the customers. We can't have dogs in cars for almost an hour. Not everyone has ac.
