I have always been able to make an appointment for my pets within 24 hours of calling. Their prices are VERY reasonable! Their staff is well trained and friendly. Would recommend to anyone looking for a furever veterinarian!

These people are absolute blessings. My kitty became very sick and I was worried she wasn't going to make it if I didn't get her some medicine over the weekend. Not only was I able to get her in right away on Saturday, but the staff was so kind and understanding when it took me over 30 minutes longer to get there than I expected. She got her shot, a course of Prednisone and anti-viral powder for *all* of my cats for a paltry $150. This was less than I've ever spent at a vet and for the amount and quality of care it's almost beyond belief. I can't recommend Dr. Gill enough. God bless him and his staff!

I had a emergency with my dog went to multiple vets and they just told me not taking new patients. I drove there on a whim and the doc got my dog right in. I really appreciate how nice each person was and how they handled the situation. Thanks so much

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE!! I had an old coworker who took her car here to get spayed and a week after the procedure she died because of complications because the procedure wasn’t done right. My cousin also recently took her cat here to get spayed and the doctor declawed her as well. He said it was a miscommunication between him and his wife. There were three BENGAL cats there to get declawed and his wife had grabbed my cousins cat who does not even have the same fur colors as a bengal cat for the declawing procedure. His wife is not a licensed vet tech or assistant. She is his “office manager” but helps with procedures. When asked if she has any license or schooling in veterinary practice Dr. Gill said no, that she is learning “in person.” Would you take yourself to a doctor who had his wife “learning” how to do her job on the spot?? I’d hope not. He only offered a sorry and didn’t charge her for the spaying or declawing and said it was an “accident.” Based on other reviews this man should not have his license anymore. The only ones who seemed to genuinely care about the situation were the two young ladies working at the desk. Also, while we were talking with him, his wife was in the back working on a dog. My cousin said she seen the wife just lay the dog on the ground (the dog was under anesthesia). If she is “learning in person” she should be supervised 24/7. Actually, she should not be back there AT ALL if she is not QUALIFIED. The fact that people still take their animals here and that the Michigan Vet board hasn’t been notified/done anything is sad. Animals deserve better than the treatment this man gives them.

I took my dog in for surgery on a Tuesday and by Friday I started noticing the pain getting worse and I also started to hear crying. I then called the hospital to see if there was anything I could do to ease the pain, I also asked if I could purchase any kind of meds to ease the pain. The lady responded by telling me I should have received antibiotics and pain meds when we picked her up ???? When working in any hospital employees should be very thorough when it comes to the care especially with medication. Very upset customer

I'm so mad at this place for so many reasons. Everytime they say one price it is another when you check out. I usually just pay and shut up started to pay more attention because we rescue alot and then made appointment to fix a male chihuahua. They said 98 dollars this was a lie checkout came and it was 220.everytime I walk in those doors they make my bill 200 weather they add unnecessary vitamins or stupid charges I didn't ask for. We had a dog that died in their care as well now I'm questioning if we had taken him somewhere else if he would have been ok..all the staff I liked quit the same day I heard they stole their last dollar from me ill go to an honest vet now.shame on you Bridgeport this is why people don't get animals the care they need because veterinarian like you that just want money.so many unwanted animals because people can't afford even the males to be fixed.

Do not ever take any of your animals to Bridgeport emergency vet. I rescued a kitten that was just 5 weeks old and 1 pound. Someone had tried to cut her tail off. I took her in and all they did was attempt to glue it together when it was clearly already rotting. Then he gave her shots. She was fine before the shots aside from her tail. $149 and an hour or so after I got her home she basically went lifeless. She couldn't walk. She couldn't hold her head up. She would just flop over. Pretty sure she started seizing. Took her back and they said she was having a hard time breathing so put her on oxygen. No change. Said she wouldn't make it. Asked if I wanted to take her home to let her die. Why would I want her to suffer anymore then she already had?! So I told them to euthanize her. It took them forever just to do that. They didn't let me stay with her and then had the audacity to charge us another $40. I strongly believe it was the shots that did that to her. As a vet he should have known. She was too young and too underweight or she had an allergic reaction but you people can come up with whatever excuses you have to help you sleep at night knowing you killed that baby. RIP Miracle. I didn't have you for long but you gave me a reason to get out of bed taking care of you. I love you and I'm going to miss you so much. Thank you for saving me. I'm so sorry I couldn't do the same for you.

We just adopted 2 puppies. They weren't feeling well due to stress but when I called to make an appointment, we didn't know the reason. They got us an appointment right away. All of the staff as well as Dr. Gill, have been amazing. We really like how attentive the Dr. Is to our babies. He was even willing to stay after hours if necessary to get our babies in for their shots. It wasn't needed, but it was nice to know that he would go out of his way if he needed to.

I have had nothing but good experiences with this vet. He bends over backwards to be accommodating for spur of the moment appts. The staff has always been friendly, and his prices are incredibly reasonable.

Horrible place, I took my cat in yesterday to be seen they gave him meds, then today my cat was worse couldn’t even move I called to see if I could get him seen immediately because I thought he was dying they told me they couldn’t and I needed to call somewhere else… my cat passed away 30 min later. DONT TAKE YOUR PETS THERE THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT THE MONEY.

Worst vetinarian in the world. They wouldn't take my dogs blood work with a fever of 103. Brought her in the next day the doctor drew her blood and threw it away. He asked my girlfriend to leave with my dog after throwing the blood in the trashcan He said to take her elsewhere ... think about that

If i could give negative 5 stars I would. Called them on a Saturday (obviously, it was an emergency and my vet is closed on weekends) I told them my german shepherd was having serious difficulty breathing and her tongue was turning blue and the lady told me they weren't accepting new patients at that time. I told her I was confused, because they are an "emergency" clinic. She then informed me that they only really do vaccinations on the weekend. Why in the world someone would take their fur baby to an emergency vet for vaccinations is beyond me. My dog passed away as a result and I'm so disgusted and heartbroken. I will be calling them monday to hopefully speak to someone in charge. I pray no one else has to go through this. Dont waste your time.. call a real vet.

The office staff is very nice and they are accommodating. When I took my Lexie there, they had given me the meds and some food to try, I told them just one can as she doesn’t do well with wet food. Well that wet food worked great for my senior dog. I called to get a script written which they did but they also gave me two cans to hold me over. They left it outside for me as I work till 5:30pm during the week. I appreciate your kindness and understanding.

If you love your pet do not bring them here. My pet had eye surgery and was in pain from it ever since. 2 weeks later got a 2nd opinion and the dr said they left a sac of infection on the eye, and there were so many scrapes and cuts on the eye like he has never seen before. So disgusted. Now he is on more medications and has to see a specialist. I wish I would have read the reviews before agreeing to take my pet here.

Went to get my cat neutered here. Paid a lot of money. After a few weeks I went back with the same cat and they told me he was not neutered. The money I paid was for the sedation. So they put my cat to sleep and didnt get neutered because he has no nuts.

Brought our 13 year old pug in. It was unfortunately time to have her put down. No compassion from dr. Completely missed her vein and injected medicine under the skin. It didn’t work. Had to come back in with a big needle and inject between ribs directly into the heart. It was already hard enough to have to put the fur baby down. Then to watch that. Never will return here or recommend to anyone

I have a female cat who I took it for surgery this morning I came back at 12 to pick her up. The women who helped me at the front desk was amazing and helpful. However the stitches that were given to her are very sloppy and unprofessional, you can see her skin poking out of the stitches and they are individually tied i don’t know why they did it sectional but in my opinion they could’ve don’t a way better job.

Three years ago on a Friday two days before Christmas, I realized late in the day that my dog had gotten into rat poison and was acting weird and had a large bloody bulge the size of a tennis ball on his side. Panicked I called vets everywhere most nobody was willing to see him as late in the day as it was and Christmas was just two days away. One vet quoted me 4500 to save him. A friend told me to call Bridgeport. They told me to drop everything and bring him in. I did not have the money I thought I would need to save Beau. $89 and a couple of shots later he had a chance thanks to this great doctor. I had to watch him carefully for the next couple of weeks but he made it with no sign of what happened. I will only take my pets to Bridgeport animal hospital. I wear the t shirt. I’m greatful for them saving my Beau. Dont hesitate to give them a call.

Great local Animal care. I have my 2 cats cared for here, and they are attentive, good listeners, and care for the pets and owners. One cat was neutured there, and it all went well and easy recovery for him. They also carry good flea preventative for good prices.

The vet techs are absolute joys to work with, and remembered both myself and my kitten after only one visit. They are very kind and gentle with my kitten, and are helpful and informative. The vet himself is very professional, but hard to understand due to his accent. But, I am comfortable with just asking the vet techs for clarification.

A strong warning to anyone who needs medical attention for your pet. We have a 15 year old Boston Terrier, who got hit by a car and we rushed her to this Vet, The doctor at this clinic Insisted that because she's old that we shouldn't even try that it's best to put her down, It was quite incredible his nonchalant way of telling us that the dog was useless and not worth saving & didn't want to put in the effort it would take to save her, so we found a vet in Flint on Hill (Dr Heaton) Who recognized the value of Wilma and Performed the necessary surgery that saved her life, He took Wilma home with them so he could keep an eye on her for the night. cooked her scrambled eggs in the Morning, In addition to the surgery went above and beyond To give her the care needed at a fraction of Of the price that This "doctor" at this clinic would have charged. My only advice to them is when your heart is no longer in your work maybe You should consider retiring, I can only imagine how many animal he may have euthanized because he didn't want to take the extra steps for them. Truly a very dark clinic, stay away!!
