Penny has the most amazing energy. She’s patient and i think we found a new home, away from home. Oh FYI THE WHITE BOOK ???? THATS ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE DESK BY THE WINDOW. I Highly recommend you purchase this. This book is giving me No death No fear by Thich Nhat Hanh “vibes”. And my youngest daughter is reading it out loud.????????

My family has been lucky enough to come across Penny & her wonderful business that is Smilin’ Dog LLC dating back as far back as the early to mid 2000’s, so nearly 20 years give or take and there is nobody else I would trust more without fear nor hesitancy to care for my dog and her needs. 20 years later and I’m still recommending Penny & Smilin’ Dog to anyone whom may be seeking a professional and passionate groomer.

It is the only place I will take my fur baby. Penny is wonderful as well as Darcy they treat my baby as if it were their own. I heard her talking to my baby calming the nerves while trimming nails which makes my little one excited to come back.

Penny is the absolute best!!! My Trixie comes out all relaxed and beautiful. They treat her like gold! Love this place!!!

Worst ever. Shaved my aussie like it was a poodle. You don't cut an aussie, you trim the undercoat like a collie but they have no idea. The owner is nice but has no idea how to groom anything but a purse dog. If you don't know, just say so but no. She actually told me that it might be late because "she's the only only one that knows how to cut an aussie (she doesn't). Not even sure she knows what an aussie is. Not to mention she gagged for 2 days afterwards meaning she was choked. Maybe change the name to the "choking dog" or the "miserable dog".

They are the most caring people and they always do an amazing job! They show so much kindness towards my dogs. I highly recommend the Smilin' Dog!!!

The only place my dog will go! He’s usually not a fan of being groomed. He gets anxious and stubborn but when he’s getting like that they give him a break and come back to him. The staff is amazing! I will always recommend this place to friends and family!

The owner is the sweetest lady ever and she's honestly the dog whisperer. Our dog is super anxious about getting bathed and nails trimmed, but Penny puts her right at ease. I recommend this place to everyone with a dog. Penny does such a fantastic job. I won't take our Lily anywhere else.

They have always done a great job cutting my dog's hair. She a shi poo and i sometimes go 8 weeks between cuts. Ive asked to do a 5pm pick up and it hasnt been an issue so far. They also have never ever cut my dogs eye lashes ( this has happened at other places after i requested not to have them cut). I gave them 4 stars becasue they are a little more expensive than other places but they do great work and my dog doesnt seemlike shes stressed out when i get her.

Perfection by all of the groomers, as well as super friendly staff.

Do not recommend I took my dog in at 930 am for a bath and cut do not get a call to pick him up until 730 pm poor guy was there for 10 hours he couldn't bark for 2 days then I get a note saying $65 next time while my boss who goes to the same groomer did not get the price increase if hes not gonna be done till late I dont have to drop him off at 930 am I will never go back

Go somewhere else! Trust me!! I took my dog here twice. Both times for a nail trim. The owner boasted about how great she is with large dogs who don’t like their feet touched. The first time was not so bad but the second time, she put a choke chain around my dog’s neck and dragged him so hard into the room that he fell on his back. She was SO aggressive with him that he was terrified and pooped on her table. It’s taken me almost 1 year to be able to even get near his feet again because of the mental damage she did. She also told my neighbor if you don’t come for a grooming every 6 weeks she will never groom your dog again. Someone else deserves your business way more than this lady.
