A member of the Barkham family has been our veterinarian since I was a kid. The Paint Creek Animal Clinic has always been so helpful and caring. I had to take my cat in recently and was able to get an appointment in a very timely manner. I am impressed with Dr. Tommy and the staff. The appointment was filled with honesty, professionalism and kindness. Despite a bleak original outlook, my Cosmo kitty is home and feeling better. Thank you to each one of you!

I took my German Shepherd in 2 weeks ago because she was excessively biting herself and itching along with yellowish colored dry skin. I was sent home with antibiotics which she just finished but she is still itching and biting herself. Clearly the antibiotics did nothing and she must have been misdiagnosed. I just called them to let them know that the $107 that I spent was for nothing because nothing was solved but I was told that she would need to come in to get checked again and that I would be charged for another checkup plus any medications. No thanks on this place, clearly care more about money than what could be going on with my animal that they didn’t catch the first time. Why would I come back and pay another $100 for a mistake on their end? I care too much about the well being of my dog to take back to this place.

I have been taking my pets to Paint Creek Animal Clinic for over 10 years. Dr Tom and the staff are wonderful. They will never give your pet anything they don’t need and their pricing is by far the best and most fair you will find anywhere.

I took my little kitten here because she had an infection in her respiratory system. The Vet injected 2 shots(penicillin, ?), strongid and an antibiotic dosis and immediately my little kitten collapsed and stopped breathing. I only went to get my little get checked and ended up going home crying with my kittens body. Since the first appointment Dona had pale gums that’s the reason why the vet suggested to test her for leukemia (it was negative) but never told me the X-rays were necessary.

I found a kitten this morning underneath my boyfriends motorcycle. It's eyes were completely shut with green goop. I called my vet and every vet within a 45 minute drive of my house, and the earliest I could get an appointment for six days out. Paint creek animal clinic was the only one that actually seem to care when I told them I didn't think the kitten would make it. They were polite, welcoming and very very helpful. Was able to get the kitten in withing and hour and a half of when I called. They listened to what I had to say did the exam and was able to us on our way. It also didn't break the bank. No emergency fee or anything. They just care about your animal. Also told me not to hesitate to call if things didn't seem to be getting better. I'll be switching all of my animals to them. I would highly recommend them if you need a vet or a better one.

They are so good with my cat! They are helpful when I have questions and my cat has never left upset.

Dr. Tommy is the best Vet we've ever had, and he saved our dog many years ago from extensive surgery and solved our joint issue through food! She is still a happy and healthy pup all these years later and we attribute it all to Dr. Tommy taking a different approach to her problem!

We have all good things to say about paint creek very professional. prices are in line or below other vets. Our dogs love the family of employees that work there.

I took my 2 yr old cat in to get spayed and they overdosed her with anesthesia. When I got there to pick up her body, the doctor told me they did everything they could without an ounce of remorse or compassion in his eyes. Like she was supposed to die in that vet this morning. I would advise anyone thinking of taking their beloved pets here to go somewhere else. The blonde man they gave me her dead body had absolutley no issue with the fact that they killed her.

My family have taken their animals to the Drs. Barkham for generations now and will not go anywhere else. These are real vets that will come help you birth a calf if you need it or get your gerbil feeling better. Whatever it takes.

Very caring vets and techs who are attentive and can quickly fit my dogs in for regular check ups and when they're sick. Drive out of my way to continue to see this vet.

Knowledgeable friendly service at a nice local location. Seconds from a paint creek trail access point and the cider mill. Bonus!

Had my male cat neutered. When I picked him up, his underbelly, tail, and paws were soaked with urine. I didn't receive very helpful post op instructions either.

Our family has been taking our pets here for 20+ years. The Dr. Barkham's are wonderful, the staff is kind and prices are reasonable.

We could not be more grateful for the loving care of Paint Creek Animal Clinic. Our dog came down with a terrible case of Pancreatitis and the doctor and vet techs went above and beyond. They answered every time we called, they were so caring and patient with us stressed pet parents. They do not overcharge and are very reasonably priced. We highly recommend going their for your pet care!!

I couldn't attend our rescues 1st appt & Dr. Carrie went above & beyond listening & taking notes. She made sure all ofour concerns were addressed. Best Vet in Oakland County!!!

They immediately took my cat in for care when he got something stuck in his large intestine, gave us the lubricant stuff just in case there was more stuff in his instestines for free AND followed up after to make sure Sparta was doing well. I recommend this place to everyone. They truly do care for your pets unlike other money hungry vets (like the one in downtown rochester that took our money (a lot of it) when my kitten died there.

Dr. Barkham(Female) as this is a family run business is awesome. She was attentive thorough and compassionate. She is a rockstar, even left me her personal # in case any problems arise over a holiday weekend. Forever loyal to this establishment. Wish I could give 6 Stars.

Been going here for 20 years. All three vets are great and their prices are reasonable. Staff is very friendly.

Unfortunately I had to have my 16 yrs old GSP put to sleep and that was sad. With that being said, Dr Barkham ( Kerry ) was instrumental to having Sadie all these years. Can't thank you enough. Tom
