With the covid mess, not many vets are taking new clients. As soon as I walked in the door, I knew this was the new vet for our clan! I can't say enough about the good doc, and his staff are some of the best I've seen. What a relief!

Very nice staff. I have been taking my cats here since I first got them, for about 8-9 years now. Always great service.

The vet and assistant are very knowledgeable caring people. I have to bring my dog in monthly to get a shot because she has addison's disease. The vet saved my dog's life!

Everyone was very nice to me as well as my puppy! My puppy received excellent care!

My mom has been coming to Dr. Mahajan since 1999. Any family pet we get, we come here. He's been in the profession for over fifty years, and he's very reliable and charming. All pet owners and potential owners should definitely come to the Avon Animal Clinic.

I called and left a message and never heard from them I was in a bad spot with my boy Cody who needed to be put down. I thought that they should of at least called when they got the message but nope. I will say that they did have a phone # for another animal clinic that took me right away and was really great pricing compared to the other local vets in the area. So I give them koodos for that.

My dog has had excellent care at Avon Clinic on several occasions: after care after a dog attacked her and ripped her skin, also repaired a small cut below her eye on another occasion and most recently she was prescribed appropriate medicine for strained muscle.

Always take great care of our pets, wouldn’t go anywhere else!

They were wonderful about getting my sick kitten in the next day!!!

Very nice veterinarian more affordable than the Michigan humane society.

They were good in giving my cat Grey his shots and vaccines. The only problem was the receptionist. When she trying to take Grey out of his carry. She was trying to pull him out by his head. And I watched multiple vids on YouTube that you do not handle cats like that. So I insisted on getting him out myself. But the Doctor I didn't have problems with. But if y'all can find better let me know. But I will give a 4 out of 5

Very dirty and dont know what there doing.

Been going here almost 20 years! They are Absolutely the best!!! My Shepard is an 8 yr old service dog and my HEART. And this is the only place I allow to touch her. I've also taking close to over 100 kittens to have appropriate medical care for rehoming as I had a Kitten Rescue for baby wild kittens???????????? Through the years I've seen them handle multiple patients and in 20 years I've never seen an unhappy customer. If I could give them 10 Stars I would, but 5 it is!!????

We are taking our dogs and cats to Avon Animal clinic since 2003. I love the atmosphere in the office, although it is looking old. But I am not paying for the buity of office, I am paying for the care quality, friendly visits and healthy animals...Greatly recommending.

my dog loves going to this vet! the staff is amazing especially the front desk/tech deb my dog LOVES seeing her he gets shots, nail trimmings, anal glands cleaned, he has chronic eye and skin problems and the doctors show so much compasion when treating him.

Great people and price is awesome! Very good with my puppy and raking care of her needs.

Wonderful clinic with a personal feel. There are so many veterinarians out there now that do not spend time getting to know our furbabies but I felt that they took the time to listen and learn our high strung rescue dog and gave her wonderful and personal care.

We got our 8 month old labradoodle neutered at Avon as first time patients. They had the best price I could find in the area, and the care was quality. Their office is older looking but very clean. The office staff and doctors were both very very friendly. They throughly explained the surgery and aftercare and were super patient with my 3 human children and all of their questions. We got medicine and a cone to go home with. The doggo seems to be healing great without any problems or concerns. We will definitely be going back for any future vet needs. Highly reccomend.

They may not look nice but I have been taking my pets here for years and my parents years before me and they have always taken great care of our animals at amazingly low prices.

When we lived in Redford we took all our animals to Dr. Mahajan. He treated them wonderfully.

This vet snapped at me when I asked him to check my cat's urine for crystal's telling me that he is the vet and he makes the decisions and not to question him. I am a former vet tech. A few years later and my cat developed cancer and we had to euthanize him and he couldn't even do that properly! My poor kitty lay there on the table growling half dead swishing his tail. This was while I was pregnant and in front of my 3 year old! And he was rude about that as well! Awful experience never again! Cracker jack box of a vet shouldn't even be practicing!

I've been taking my animals here for years. They have always been kind to me. They saved my cats life years ago. He ingested a spool of sewing thread. It got tangled around his tongue and cause a large amount of his bowel to twist in on its self and die. Doc spent 6 hours removing dead bowel and carefully removing thread and checking for leaks. He (doc)and Debbie gave me 10 more years with my kitty. So if I could more than 5 stars I would.

Our companion animals have been getting top notch care here for years. The Drs are compassionate, personable and knowledgeable. Debbie is always available for good advice and to find a way to help. With tons of experience and kind hearts Avon Animal Clinic is our first choice for pet care.
