Hidden Spring Veterinary Clinic Northville, Michigan

They gave me a same day appointment as my regular vet was booked for a few days, which was very helpful. The environment is calming with a lot of space in the waiting area. The front desk person was extremely rude to everyone from customers to coworkers. We waited without an update of when we'd be seen for about 40 minutes. The vet was kind and nice. They gave a goodie bag to us for being a new customer, with some great treats and toys. It was fine, but I don't plan on going back because of how rough the front desk woman was. I was nervous about my pets health, and a new customer, and she treated me as a major inconvenience. If you do go, you can get $5 off your balance if you check in on Facebook.

I was going there for 20 yrs but last visit I took my 14 yr old shitzu Mazzi in to find out why she wasn’t eating much & having other problems & asked them to diagnose her FIRST then after if she needed any shots etc to do them next / Well with no concerning diagnosis they gave her all kinds of shots eyedropsetc and sent her home / between my two dogs I spent over $ 800 that day and within 1 week my little Mazzi was gone ????with me not knowing why & all kinds of expensive eye drops foods & meds for Mazzi I couldn’t ever use & when I called back was given no comfort or remorse or explanation or even offer to take back.eye drops -powders that were never used almost $150 after 20 yrs of patronage with all my pets but I’m sorry it seemed like a money first fill up with shots instead of care for her health pr the exam sheet & lack of answers / I lost my best little pal of 14 yrs if only they would have diagnosed her problems More Seriously & Caringly / u lost my trust / good bye

My cat has been there for multiple appointments and its rabies vaccine has been overdue for 8 months!!! They never realized about that. Also we have spent almost a $1k in my cat's health and they never found out why she looks inflamed, shakes, chokes and spits her food sporadically...

I started bringing my puppy here when my parents recommended them. The Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable and the building is very clean and well kept! They are open late a couple days a week and are available Saturdays which works well with my work schedule. I've been to other Vets in the area with my other dog before I knew about HSVC and they dont even come close to being this nice and affordable. My dog likes it here too and loves the staff and he's a really good judge of character! Highly recommend!

I brought my 7yr old male cat in for a emergency uti. They told me it would be $2000 to maybe fix him but probably wouldn't work or I could pay $500 for a catheter to empty his bladder once. But I could kill him for $200. I also had to find somewhere to take him overnight after surgery because they don't offer any after surgery observation. They told me I had no other options and I didn't have time to take him anywhere else.. I found out later that wasn't true.i could have had the surgery done much cheaper including overnight care. They took him in the back and I could hear him screaming through out the building.. they murdered my cat by not providing correct information then they tortured him for his final moments. They are extremely uncaring. Do not trust them with your pets. My best friend lost his life because I did. I cannot possibly express with words how much damage they caused in my life.

If you love your pet, steer clear of Hidden Spring. Our rescue dog had a bad case of bladder stones and Hidden Spring agreed to performing surgery. We were nervous at first, because Hidden Spring is not our primary doctor, but they reviewed our dog's case and reassured us multiple times that the surgery was very routine and would be two hours tops. Fast forward 7 hours later- we were scrapping our dog up off the emergency table and rushing him to another specialist. Hidden Spring apologized again and again- even admitted that they shouldn't have done the surgery. The specialist we took our dog to was successful, but we were charged 2,000 for an emergency over night stay. Hidden Spring cut their bill almost in half- as if this was generous of them. We talked to the doctor and said it was odd we should pay anything considering they botched the surgery and it costed us an additional 2,000 dollars via the over night stay. They were not willing to forgive the bill and had no concern of our dog pre or post operation. The best part- Hidden Spring withheld a prescription we NEEDED for our dog, post surgery, until we payed the bill. I am absolutely disgusted by the ethics of Hidden Spring. This review has nothing to do with the money itself- as I would gladly spend my entire savings on my rescue dog. I feel compelled to share my experience because I trusted Hidden Spring and that decision ended in a very long night of heart break and anxiety.

We had a great experience as a new patient at the clinic. The staff is extremely friendly and informative. The doctor we saw took a lot of time with our dog and explained things thoroughly. We are very pleased with the care we received!

The office is nice and clean, however the front desk lady is rude as other have said. We got a prescription and were told that it can't be filled at other pharmacies, when we definitely can by law. Additionally we were told our pet needed shots legally, even though that was not true. Upon a dispute for a follow up treatment payment the vet came in the room telling us we were lying about the treatment cost, yelling at us and not willing to respectfully listen. This is unprofessional service.

I highly recommend Hidden Spring. Although my dog recently passed from cancer, he was well-cared for from day one by the doctors and staff. They are professional and true animal lovers who more than earned my trust.

Had take our puppy here many times for ear infections and chocolate consumption and they've always been able to fully restore our dog to proper health. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, very clean facility with all the best resources to help your animals. Highly recommend them.
