DO NOT GO HERE ! MONEY IS THEIR TOP PRIORITY NOT YOUR PET!

Honestly one of the worst vets I have ever been to. First the office staff is extremely rude. Secondly the vet just tries to push procedure after procedure on you to get more money. The first time she seen my healthy 3 month old German shepherd trying to push a stomach surgery for “ prevention” because it can happen in that breed. Then trying to push me to neuter my puppies before they even reached the age of 6 months. Every appt they have me wait 30-45 mins before called back yet I was late 10 mins one time and told I would have to reschedule. Then when I decided to get a flea and tick preventative at somewhere else besides their location they denied my claim for a prescription claiming my 20 pound pomsky is going to grow an additional 25 pounds within 3 months. Also not to mention both of my dogs had their first round of vaccines that they could not honor because they don’t trust breeders???? Yet I have their paperwork stating they had their first rounds given by another vet in Southfield what is not to trust ????? This place is all about money. I will never ever give them my business again!!!!!!!

I cannot express enough or understate the amazing service these beautiful people do for our animals and us. Right now, because of the state of our country with covid and everything else, people all over are understaffed and overworked, vets certainly included. I called around 10 places (being conservative in that estimate) for an emergency with my cat and all but one place ( Suburban Animal Clinic) would not be able to see my cat for weeks from the date her condition started to get serious. The google search for some reason did not show me this place in the available selection. So I pretty much found this place as a last ditch effort in hopes that they could squeeze in my cat by the end of the week. When I called they made me an appointment for the very next day and I, and my very much healthy again cat, were able to get in and get the medication she needed with very very little hassle. Vets, and any medical profession at the moment, are dealing with alot right now and there certainly isnt enough of them going around so I do not blame the other places for not being able to see my old girl, but I do want to personally thank SAC for helping my old girl out and helping me personally for helping me not have to worry as much and get the help I needed to help her out. I would highly reccomend anyone to go here to get help with their animals needs and emergencies. It's crazy right now, and everyone is stressed and overworked, but these lovely people here went above and beyond to make sure I, and more importantly my old girl, get the care she needed badly as well as the answers I needed to make sure I stayed on top of her condition better. I'm not a religious person, but thank god for this amazing place. Thank you SAC.

We just moved to the area and needed a new vet to establish our dog at. From scheduling the appointment till the appointment itself, everything was great. They really cared for our dog and didn’t try to push us to buy things(which is our pet peeve). Happy we found our new vet for our dog.

My favorite veterinarian around. I've been going to them for 2 years now. I have 2 olde english bulldogge and 2 cats that come here. I love the staff. They take the time to answer all questions you have. They take time with you and your animal. They actually care ❤ and there prices are great. .

Did not disclose cost said they did to boyfriend get out to car he said that they never said they did. We were both told he was alset ect for cost for nail trim.

We've brought our dogs to Suburban Animal Clinic of Monroe since moving here in 2007. The veterinarians and staff are always patient, kind and knowledgeable.

We switched to Suburban from another Vet in the area and they are phenomenal. Super attentive and always treat our pups like family. Can not recommend these guys enough!

Today my sons dog Custer had to be put down, Mallory at Suburban Animal hospital was very compassionate and cared about my dogs comfort and the comfort of our family. They called to see how we were all doing, which no vet in Monroe county does at all. Mallory explained the whole process of euthanasia and made us feel comfortable, and at the same time cared about our dog which they had never seen as a patient before. The doctor Dr Bieszki was great also. Love this place..

We had to put our dog Stanley to sleep, and even though we had never used Suburban before, they were so kind, compassionate and made a very hard day a lot easier. I will be bringing our other dog there from now on. Thank you Suburban animal clinic.

They always treat our boy like a he's their # 1 concern and Dr. Julie just loves him! You want your best friend seeing someone that will do their all and I truly believe that women would.

I recently transferred to South Korea for my job. Suburban Animal Clinic of Monroe helped me ensure I met the requirements so I could take my dog with me to South Korea. They were very supportive and accommodating every step of the way. I really appreciate everything!

Very friendly and took care of my pup with great care. Answered all my questions and even a few I didn't think to ask.

What an awesome visit!! Two nights before I was here, my puppy hurt her foot running in the back yard and caught it on the fence. She was limping all night and the next day while I tried to get her any available appointment at any vet clinic from Monroe to Allen Park to Plymouth and in between. I must have called 30 places. Even the emergency clinics were 6+ hours wait! I called suburban Wednesday morning right at 8:00 and was ably to get her in there at 9:30! I was so happy they could see here. When we got there, everything was curbside. They came out with paperwork and called me as soon as the dr was ready to see her. I was worried she broke something and it was going to be bad and expensive. After the exam, the dr called me and explained everything. That if it was a small fracture on a toe, there’s nothing they really do for that. Just keep her off it and calm. She talked about a couple other things she checked and gave me pain meds for her. The office guy called me back a couple minutes later to do the bill and we were on our way. She could have easily said” let’s do an X-ray anyway” but she didn’t and saved me a bunch of money. Thank you all so much. You were so helpful and friendly and even there it’s quite a bit further than I was going, I will be back here for sure!!

First visit today; switching vets after 9+ yrs. tech was wonderful and explained how I could save a few bucks. Doc was carrying and thorough. Diagnosed a teeth issue that is more than a year old and if left unattended would cause serious medical issues for our dog. Pricing: cheaper for most services compared to other vet.

I had been recommended to this place by a family member. I wish I hadn’t gone. The ladies were okay, but were very short with me about my rescue kitten. I did not appreciate how they spoke to me once they found out that I’d never had a cat before. They offered no suggestions or help for how to care for a cat. They have cancelled appointments on me (last year during the initial lock down), but then treated me as though I was the one who bailed on them when it was time. I had pre-paid for a multi-appointment of vaccines but when I went back for the second set they wanted to re-charge me even though I’d already paid. I went down to Toledo to have my kitten fixed as the clinic wanted nearly $300 to do the surgery! The place I found in Toledo did it for only $50, and I’ve had zero issues post-surgery. Since then, I’ve chosen a different vet, but this place still sends me emails and post cards even though I’ve asked them to stop. At this point it feels like harassment and I don’t appreciate it one bit. I’d recommend finding a different vet, personally.

Absolutely Wonderful vet. All the staff is very friendly, professional, knowledgeable, accommodating and passionate about what they do. I would highly recommend them.

Took one of our dogs there for medical issues, they gave us medicine to give her. Five days later she died having a seizure. Just took another one for rabies and regular check up. Two days later he's hacking his lungs up like he has kennel cough. This place is the Death Clinic!

I would highly recommend Suburban Animal Clinic in Monroe. Had to take an old kitty in to be put down. They are very compassionate and professional yet relaxed and down to earth. Good experience. Got a next day appointment that I was hoping for. Would go there again for sure.

Take my two dogs here, but was very satisfied most recently with the care of my dog. He was extremely sick and felt as if the techs and vet care as much as I do. Not sure how to spell her last name, but Dr. B is great! She explained in detail everything and laid out the options. I appreciate her care for my dog and her excitement when his condition improved. I feel confident taking my dogs here during emergencies and regular check ups. Thank you!

I had to put an animal of mine down after 14 years for the first time. The staff and doctors at this clinic were so compassionate not only towards me but to my cat as well, I really felt like they cared for him just as much as we do. I truly appreciate you guys making this experience the best it possibly could be. Thank you so much.

Had my two kittens there on Friday for an emergency appt and they got me in right away. Turns out they had URI and eye infection. One is better the other seems to be getting worse.

We have faithfully stayed with this place.. They are great!! Il forever bring all pets present and future..
