They were the only Veterinarian open on New Years day closes to me I live in South Bend and the doctor squeezed me in even though she was at capacity.

Emergency visit Monday for our dog Pedey. He snapped the toenail and Dr took care of it.

So thankful that they were open this weekend!! Great experience here (despite the bad situation our pup was in). They were great about giving a price estimate for services and were very sweet to our pup.

I had a baby kitten named Hercules ( picture below) only 6 weeks old and I took him in 3 different times to Magrane and each time I took him in they said he was fine a we took him home. Between the 2nd and 3rd visit we had taken him to pet refuge because he wasn’t getting better and the lady that ran it offered to help. She told us that there was a good chance he was anemic, he might even have leukemia. So during the 3rd visit we asked the vet to check and he said he was fine, he looked healthy except for an eye infection(which I fully believe was actually an upper respiratory infection). 3 days later I had to take my kitten an hour away because he couldn’t breath to the emergency hospital in westville and they tell us he is so severely anemic that he would need two blood transfusions and his chances were very low. So we had to make the tough decision to put down our cat because he was in a lot of pain. I think if the vets at Magrane had taken out concerns seriously and had caught his anemia earlier and gave him the right medication for an upper respiratory infection he probably would have made it but unfortunately now our hearts our broken because we had to put him down. I am really disappointed in the lack of knowledge the two vets I saw showed and I recommend taking your animals anywhere else is possible.

The folks at Magrane genuinely care about your pet and you as the owner. You'd be hard pressed to find a better vet in the South Bend area.

The entire staff at Magrane has always been great to work with. For 6 years we’ve taken our dog, Blu, to Dr Nieman and he really takes time to know the issues and to care for Blu. It was also nice to have the office back open after the Covid pause. Thank you.

Really great group of people who are genuinely nice and care for your pet. My only complaint is the cost. They are pretty average for a normal visit but beyond that, and meds, they can be pricey. Worth it for the care they give, though.

They used to be the best and had my complete trust. I've been a patient for 37 years and had 13 pets. But they've changed and now I would never recommend after euthanizing my 6 year old dog. They just didn't care how much time was wasted while she shrunk and no quality of life. Playing phone tag without results, tests and time wasted. After having to euthanize at Emergency clinic, I have to live with not knowing exactly what happened. She wasn't in kidney failure and we did not have to euthanize because of Magranes diagnosis of proteinuria. They won't call with explaination. Just awful.

The best vet clinic I have ever taken my dog to. Everyone is knowledgeable, nice, and the clinic itself is serene and clean. I recommend everyone bring their family pet here.

Dr Neiman goes above and beyond to take care of my kitty girls. He is so gentle and caring. And his staff is very good with handling our pets. They can be a handful!

My turtle Yurtle had become ill. It was life threatening. This vet was the only one in town who made time for him after i broke down on the phone as i do not drive and could not get him to any of the emergency vets. He has pretty severe pneumonia and is doing much better a few days later. The kind staff personally showed me how to administer shots of baytril to him. Walked me through dry docking and how to make a nebulizer chamber. The medicine still hasnt came through the mail for the nebulizer but thats on the pharmacy shipping it not the vets office. Only downside is that these guys are even more pricey than other vets. I expected this as i saw some of the vet bills for here when i worked at petsmart and we as petsmart employees were told to not to schedule with them unless it was the last on the list of vets to get the animal in. But even so i am incredibly grateful to the staff here for helping me get yurtle feeling a little better when he was in such grave shape.

Absolutely love this place! The doctor is so friendly and professional. Always helpful even when I have silly questions. Treats my pets with so much kindness and keeps me informed along the way!

We had the best time at Magrane with our new puppy. They were so caring with our girl, and gave her plenty of treats and love. Everyone we met was so friendly and considerate of or needs. So glad we found such a great place to take our Honey!

If this was a contest Magrane wins hands down as the best vet we’ve ever had (we’ve had several.) We drive almost 45 minutes to come here because it’s that good.

Dr. Kathleen Neuhoff is one of the best veterinarians that I can actually say has a heart of gold and the team of Magrane Pet Clinic does a awesome job taking care of our 9 month old puppy. We had started with Dr. Neuhoff and Magrane’s back in 2013, she had taken care of our very sick 4 years old cocker spaniel. When we had to make a decision to lay her down on May 1,2013. So, when we got or 3 month old puppy late last year we reached out to Magrane and the fantastic team and Dr Neuhoff. To help us with the care and update medical and treatment for our Peanut who had a allergies when we first got him. He is growing and doing much better and enjoy’s the team at Magrane’s and Dr Neuhoff when they come to get him for his check’s up. Magrane’s and Dr Neuhoff are the best. Peanut and his family recommend Magrane Pet Medical Center for all there pet needs.

Me and my wife just moved here from the east coast. Being a Veterinary Technician myself its always hard to leave a pet in the hospitals hands and not being aloud in the hospital due to Covid. Well let me put your minds at ease. My dogs Quigley and Eve could not have gotten better care. The Dr.s and staff are amazing! They answered all my questions ,where fast, and easy to deal with. Great experience and I definitely found my new Vet. Thank you all so much. I will be back. <3
