Pet Supplies Plus - Milford Milford, Michigan

I have spent a lot of money in this store in the last year and the service I got today on December 21st was horrible. I purchased two bags of Zukes Puppy Naturals treats on November 27th. I used up the first bag. I went to open the second bag today and the treats were all moldy. Come to find out after talking to my certified dog trainer who is my daughter, Zukes had a recall a little while ago about mold in their products. So I took the package back today to the store and wanted to exchange the bag of bad product for a bag that was not moldy. The cashier charged me the difference between the sale price when I bought the treats in November versus the new price in December. I stated that I should not have to pay anything and it should be an even exchange. She said she was sorry but that it is corporate policy. I said to her that I am sure your manager would override it. She said nothing and did not volunteer to call the manager to the front of the store. So I said, I am not going to make a big deal out of this because it is Christmas. I am writing this review, because this was not a good customer service exchange. Maybe this will prompt management to conduct additional training with staff. I will be spending my money going forward at either Chewy or the Pet Supplies Plus in White Lake.

Usually I place an online order for our Eskie which my husband picks up at the Milford Pet Supplies Plus on his way home from work. Today I needed somewhere to park so I could add funds to my Starbucks app. After I parked I realized we were nearly out of Bil Jac Breakfast Treats- & the peanut butter ones & the Littles liver ones & I had been thinking about finding a different smaller not mint dental treat for her. Perfect timing! I was able to find the needed treats. Plus I found a new dental treat for her. Sudden pickiness is a new trait for my 15 year old Eskie. I gave her one after I arrived home and walked her. Yeah! She loves it at least for now. The treat is ARK Naturals Protection+ Brushless toothpaste fortified dental chews 5-in-1 (size mini for dogs up to 8 lbs- she won't try small sized dental chews). I could not find the flavor on the bag (might have something to do with leaving my reading glasses in the car). The cashier was kind to check for me. If I had looked closer or used my glasses it was printed in blue I should have seen it- chicken. We have always received great service here. It is also great to be able to order online & pick up at our local store within just a few hours. Bonus!

Love your delivery option when time constraints are an issue. And of course at least a couple of times a month have to take Lexi inside to ‘browse’

It's your basic pet store. Nothing fancy, prices are ????. But it is what it is

I normally shop at the store near me, but it didn't have the item I needed in-stock, so I chose curbside pickup at this location. The curbside instructions / process were very easy and my wait to receive my order wasn't long at all. The staff is friendly.

Had everything I was looking for the staff was very friendly and help me get the right tag for my cat and I accidentally kept them waiting 15 minutes past closing with no idea and not one complaint about it

I normally shop another Pets Supplies Plus in my hometown, however due to other errands I used the Milford store. What an excellent experience! Nice, clean store with friendly, helpful staff. I realized my coupon expired the day before and the employee reviewed and still managed to honor it! What a pleasant savings for me! I will definitely be back to this location! Thanks

I've used the Milford location several times now for dog food delivery. They offer same day service provided you place the order in the morning; the longest I've ever waited is one day. Their staff is very friendly and service is excellent. I used to buy from a large on-line retailer and decided to support our local businesses instead. I am very happy I made the switch!

Staff friendly and ready to help with your pet needs

Even though this is a chain it pays to shop different ones. I always find the Milford place not as well stocked and the employees not as knowledgeable about their products and more interested in talking to one another compared to the South Lyon store.

The do it yourself dog wash is great! They provide shampoo, conditioner, towels and blow dryer. My golden loved all except the blow dryer ;) bGreat bonding :)

You have the best employees. They're very knowledgeable and willing to help you to your car with your purchases.

The new veterinarian is really good. The doctor was really nice and she spent the time answering all of my questions about my dog. Pet supplies plus is always the best to get my dogs food. Its honestly the only place I can find that carries the specific brand I need. Good pricing. Only weird thing is, the pet supplies plus in White Lake does a military discount and this one doesn't. I really don't know if its because of different owners or something but I still come here regularly. Thank to the new vet and thank you to PSP!

It was great to wash my dog and not pay $30 I have a punch card ends up being less than $10 great place nice people clean sure glad they put this new system in pet plus in Milford

Don't always have what I came in for

Always helpful and friendly people. Found all we needed.

Employees were super sweet and what a convenient location next to the Milford dog park after our boy had a grand time in the dirt. We were able to walk to it and no wait for the 3 stall dog wash. Thank you! The dog wash in there, I hate to say it because obvious care was taken to set it up, is not the best set up for dog washing. I definitely got a shower too since the shower stall is just a foot or so above floor level and open. Bending over it is kinda harsh on the back. He also kept trying to bolt for the opening since it's not blocked. My Aussie boy was at just the right height that his floofy bum kept bumping the faucet back on while we were drying so we got a couple extra rinse cycles.????

Love this store! The owner, manager, and every employee I have interacted with here have been great!
