Our Bassett hound got fixed today and they took excellent care of her and called with updates. Definitely will be back for any future animals!

I asked the gal how much it would be to get my cat fixed and she quoted me 180 dollars, however she failed to mention that, that was the "starting price" and had i not dug a little deeper they would have tagged me for 400 dollars, seems more like a used car lot than an "animal hospital" you need to be more upfront with people about the total cost

‘Five Stars’ for Dr Paxton as he is a caring, knowledgeable, experienced professional! I had an in-depth conversation around the benefits of Cytopoint injections for my Westie with seasonal dermatitis. Success! Cytopoint was the solution to measurable relief. Also I want to share my thoughts on Euthanasia for an aggressive, violent dog. If your veterinarian recommends Euthanasia, you should give it serious consideration. Some dogs are not wired correctly. The safety of children, family & community should be the priority over an aggressive dog. Don’t wait for a disaster to transpire. My family suffered do to non action of our neighbors aggressive dog.

Not a great place. And don't try getting vet help from this place in an emergency, especially weekends or holidays. They don't like to cut their holidays short????????

Dr. Paxton strongly suggested that we euthanize our fear reactive, anxious dog, and seemed rather upset because we did not consider his suggestion. The reasoning in his words because "noone can touch him, he acts like this with everyone, and is a liability to everyone." He also stated that it would be a hassle to sedate our dog every time and very expensive, assuming we could not afford to care for our animals. Our dog was muzzled by us as a precaution, we know he is fear reactive with growling and lunging. With that said, our dog has never bitten anyone in his life. He can be around our children, family, and friends with no issues and is a very good judge of character. Another issue we have had with this office is with our female dogs spay surgery. They did not give her a sedative to go home with, even after I explained to them that she is a VERY active dog and would likely need one. Not even 2 days after her surgery, she ripped her incision, that did not look to be closed properly to begin with, and had to be rushed to the emergency vet costing us another thousand dollars to fix their mistake. That vet said with her activity level, she should have been given sedatives to go home with in the first place. I would not recommend this office, they do not seem to care much about the animals, they are more about the money involved.

Worst experience ever, this is my secondary vet as er have a summer home, they double vaccinated my dog which is harmful to my fog. They had record of second vet and did not check with them. Would not take any responsibility and actually lied to me about what happened, I would never trust them with my dig,

Well with the pandemic and all. This wonderful doctor did not send me to another. She took my cat that I did not think was an emergency, ended was, she had my Shiloh for 3 day's. Anyone looking for a doctor whom cares for our fur babies, and not the god almighty dollars. Give them a call, this lady was absolutely perfect and her and her team are just amazing when it comes to a fur baby in need of help regardless if it's an emergency. THANKYOU LADIES. And god bless all that had hands on our shiloh.

I took my cat Creature in today for his first shots and everyone was so wonderful! I was very worried leaving him due to a negative veterinary experience he had but the wonderful staff took great care of him and helped us find a way to manage his vet anxieties. He already has a follow up scheduled and we plan on taking the rest of our pets here from now on! Services are worth every penny with such a pleasant staff!

Great place will continue with them for my cats care

Been taking Cody there for almost a year. Haven’t been inside because of COVID Restrictions but the employees that come to my car are courteous and friendly. The doctor calls and gives me update shortly after dropping Cody off and is very friendly.The only negative would be the pricing.

We were visiting Ludington and our GiGi had an ear problem. They were able to get her treated the same day! Very kind staff and excellent care! ❤????

Did not explain the bill or the cost very well. Then held pet for ransom, because they didn't notify us that they didn't combined the bills.

Staff and Dr were very caring and empathetic. Unfortunately we still lost our "Mr Big Head" Red, but not through the fault of the staff. Even took back a prescription and gave us a full refund that had been issued for him, that he didn't get to take.

Our rescue dog is afraid of many things so I appreciate how patient and kind everyone is. They have taken wonderful and compassionate care of all dogs past and present for about 15 years now.
