Good Groomer Livonia, Michigan

I usually don’t write reviews but this place definitely deserves it! To make a long story short, I have a Chi baby & originally took him to pet smart for his first grooming appointment and received TERRIBLE service. I was called to pick him up early because of “bad behavior” and a partial haircut and I still had to pay for it. I was very upset until I found this grooming salon, good groomer! From the moment I spoke to the lady to book the appointment to the time the appointment was finished, I was beyond satisfied and felt so relieved that my baby was able to be groomed as he looked ridiculous! The groomer at this place is SO patient and extremely welcoming. My dog was pretty nervous when we came in so the groomer sat with him to make him feel more welcome and comfortable. within an hour and a half, they called to have him picked up and he looked so handsome! He smelled amazing, his haircut was exactly what I wanted, his hair around his ears were perfectly cut, they did an amazing job and accommodated both me and my pup. I am very grateful for how patient they were with my chihuahua and how clean he came home! Thank you to the groomer we were given, you are wonderful and deserve a raise! Also, the lady who answers the phone to book appointments, you were amazing and so helpful for getting us in so quickly! This will be my new grooming salon (:

The two ladies I spoke with were very very nice, I have a toy poodle that I took somewhere else for a haircut and they did a terrible job which is what the photos are from listed with before and after… I brought her here to have them try to fix her haircut the best they could and they did okay trying to even her out so it grows back even but when I got home I noticed she had cuts on her neck, under her armpit, and on her toe… I know things happen and it wasn’t intentional but my puppy is only 2.5 pounds and I feel bad for her… at this point idk where to take her or who to trust with her if anyone knows someone experienced with toy sized dogs lmk… other than the cuts these people were great… best part is they are cage free

The groomer shaved so close to my dogs skin, she had three big bleeding spots. Won't be taking her nack

Took our dog to get groomed for the first time at this groomer. Our dog is not very keen on having people touch her, so the grooming ended early, and they only charged for a partial grooming, which was considerate of them. BUT then our dog started behaving strangely, wincing whenever we touched her back. Took her to the vet because her behavior changed so drastically, and lo and behold, she has sores all over her back and neck. Vet says it was likely due to a reaction she had to whatever the groomers used on her skin. She is in pain now, on antibiotics to prevent further infection, and overall just unhappy. This has been a horrific experience, watching my dog be in pain all because of the grooming she underwent. I recommend a place that uses materials more sensitive to dogs' skin, as this groomer clearly was not.

Took my little man there and I was very pleased with the cut and groom that he got i could tell he was also please the way he strutted around when I picked him up.

Only place willing to deal with my dogs nails as he does not like it.

Brought my chocolate lab in and she did an amazing job on her I was very pleased with the work and she smells like fresh flowers great work!

Highly recommend, five stars is not enough! Not only do they do high quality work, they also are sensitive to each dog's individuality, and as an owner of a dog that is terrified of everything, including water/baths, it is so reassuring to know they care about making my dog comfortable.

Very nice people. Good customer service. Very good with my yorkie. They are very gentle and treated my dog like he was one of there fur babies. I will definitely be back again and recomend them to my friends and family.

I am SO disappointed with my service here. My dog was there for FIVE hours. When I picked her up she still had mats around her collar area. I got her home and found a wound the size of a quarter where her skin had been peeled off by whatever tool they were using and she was bleeding. No one at the groomer ever bothered to tell me they injured my dog. I actually had to comb through the rest of the mats that they missed, which were not that hard to get out. There was also a huge pile of fur that came off my dog when I brushed her, which shouldn’t have happened after $150 service and 5 hours there. I understand things happen, but overall the customer service was awful for me and my dog. I was shocked about my experience considering the reviews, but after reading the reviews here a lot of them seem fabricated. PLEASE find a different groomer for your fur babies.
