Way Over priced. They even charge for services they don't do.

I brought my dog here thinking that he would be in hands that were professional. Well they were. If you count greed as a profession. They charged me 3000 dollars to watch my dog die slowly and painfully and then after everything was over, I couldn't have my dog cremated until the balance was covered in full. It's the middle of winter. They made the last days of my dogs life miserable through weaponized incompetence. Do not trust these people with what you love.

The Only Animal Hospital that will see your pet in an emergency situation. They made time to see our Bella as she was in trouble and two other vets couldn't find the issue after multiple visits. We wasted valuable time with those vets. Dr. Thorpe is excellent and compassionate. By the time we discovered Thorpe Animal Hospital all we could do was end Bella"s suffering. Don't put your pet"s health in the hands of any other vet.

The attention that they give your fur babies is amazing. They answer all of your questions, they listen to what your concerns are and make sure that you are comfortable with the answers that you received before you leave. If it wasn't for them, Stan wouldn't be here. They got me in when no other veterinary would. For that I am always making the trip to see Dr. Thorpe. Thank you Dr. Thorpe and your outstanding team.

I think the Doctor and staff at Thorpe Animal Hospital did a wonderful job caring for my Clem. They explained everything to me and went over everything to make sure I understood what the Dr. was saying to me.

Staff works well with families and their pets.

Did not see staff or vet. So no comment there. Front office friendly. They are NOT a walk in clinic or hospital. False advertisement. Showed up Saturday at 9A. Told he could not be seen till 10A. Was going to be charged $150-$200 just to be seen. Ended up going to Flint to All About Animals. Not charged this fee just to be seen. My dog will not eat or drink. Vomiting 24 hours. Shame on you charging that type of rate!

Dr. Thorpe and I have been friends for over 30 years. Although I hadn't seen her in 20 years, I called with an emergency and she welcomed us in to her very busy clinic. She cares so much about our pets, she sacrifices her personal time to help us when all the other vet offices had closed because of Covid. Tracy, I wanted to publicly THANK YOU!! YOUR A WONDERFUL VET AND FRIEND!! I'm so proud of your success!! You worked so hard, putting yourself thru school, raising 2 wonderful children. I'm so happy and proud of you!!

Even tho my heart is broken and I lost my baby of 17 years. They are the best they helped me when No One Else would. They took excellent care for My Macie for the last for mins or hour she had left. Thank you for All you did for Her and Me.

Had a sick cat and had moved to Bancroft from the Lapeer area. Called several area vets with no luck. Even called my own vet in Lapeer,but there was no veterinarian in that day. So I called Thorpe. Worked her in no problem.

I have been taking my dogs to Thorpe for several years. I'm very pleased with the care that my to dogs have gotten.

Dr.Thorpe and the staff are wonderful. They are very courteous and friendly. The building and rest room were very clean.I have 3 dogs,and won't take them any other place. I would highly recommend them to anyone. They rock !

They were quick while still being personable and compassionate when I bought my guinea pig Midnight to them with pretty much 20 minutes of notice that we were coming. I cannot express enough how grateful I was to them for making sure he didn't suffer anymore and for their compassion during our conversation while my entire world was shifting. I would take my babies to them every time without a doubt.

Everybody here is so kind and friendly. They're still doing covid precautions, which is nice to see in this town. The veterinarian was very soft spoken and patient, and was eager to answer my questions. The nurse (are they called nurses? or is vet tech the right title?) was also very sweet. I brought our new kitten in for a first visit. We discussed shots, neutering (SPAY AND NEUTER YOUR PETS, PEOPLE), and general health maintenance. They recommended a good ear cleaning solution and showed me how to do it, and talked about clipping nails instead of declawing (because that's inhumane). I couldn't be happier with choosing this clinic, and will definitely recommend them to others!

They saved my bunny on short notice. She went into severe seizures and they had me in first thing in the morning. I called all over macomb and couldn't be seen. Doctors here care about animals and not cash. They didn't overcharge us and didn't force tests on us. I tell everyone how great they are.

We took our shepherd there and they were so kind and Dr. Alex took the time and really cared. Thank you !

Bella is our dog she s 9 years d our current vet passed away and Bella was limping on her right paw. I call Thorpe Animal hospital the gave me appointment for the same day. Bella had a soft tissue tear she's doing great with the antimflammatory meds. I would recommend this vet and the price for her visit was very resonable. Thanks for your help. The Bowens, Dryden mi

What a wonderful place this is. They worked me in when my own vet would not see my dog in an emergency. I will be using these lovely people from now on, they care truly about our babies. All the staff is so kind and loving. Just the best Lapeer has to offer for vet services

Everyone at Thrope Animal Hospital is so carrying. They take great care of my dog and cat. Dr T has been my vet for well over 14 years now. Highly recommend!

Cant say enough good things about these folks! They are very kind and caring to both 4 legged and 2 legged beings. They always inform every step of the way as to what care and procedures are needed and take a conservative approach whenever possible. I think prices are fair and service from Dr and all the staff is second to none. We live in Waterford (moved from Lapeer) but drive back to Thorpe's because of their quality of care.
