I had the BEST experience coming here. I originally was taking my cat somewhere else and they were quoting me an astronomical amount of money for tests that I didn’t think were necessary. (My cat is older with arthritis). I went to VCA explained some issues, and everyone was very kind and thorough and the refilled her pain meds, and we were good to go! No tests needed they said she looked good. Gave us options for additional pain management. It was the best. We appreciate you. I’ll definitely be going back.

We absolutely LOVE taking our 4 fur babies to VCA Woodland! The staff is always so kind and doesn't treat our pitbulls differently because of their breed. We love the option of enrolling in the puppy plan to help offset some puppy expenses, too! We will not be going anywhere else! Thank you so much for being the best, VCA :)

Regret- I took my cat Thatchure to the vet. He was peeing more often (large amounts) pooping more outside the box., still eating, and drinking but throwing up once a day. He limped and seemed uncomfortable at times. Vet said he was dehydrated and possible kidney disease or diabetes. Vet was nice to me, but I wish that I was talked to about giving him and I another day together. I don’t think he was going to die the next day and wish the Vet was more like” I think his time is coming, would you like one more day or the rest of the week?” Then I feel I could have had more closure and would have done that. (Vet was nice to me and comforting to me when I was crying and saying did I make the right decision. ) she was very kind. Nothing against aher just wish I had more time with my cat. I miss him so much.

This animal hospital does fantastic work and they really care about your pet. They are really good staff and answer all your questions. I would reccomend them to anyone who needs a really good vet.

This place is top notch. Dr. Martin is the best vet in the GR area. Kind. Caring. Truly in it to care for animals. Staff is super friendly and helpful. This place isnt out to gouge you. Its there to help your pets live happy, healthy lives. Cannot recommend this place enough.

The staff is very helpful and make curbside drop-off as convenient as possible. While my kitty is never excited to go to the vet, I know she's in good hands and getting excellent care from VCA.

Two stars for friendly front desk staff. No more due to not caring about my needs nor my pet's. I have had cats all my life, and recently moved into an apartment by myself and got lonely-so I decided to adopt an older kitty from the Humane Society in Walker. They gave me a voucher worth something like $250 in medical care and a free check up on my first visit at VCA. I have since brought my kitty there around five times... mostly for impacted bowels (she gets these once every couple of months) and annual checkups. Recently my cat has been meowing NONSTOP, and the only reason I could think of for this was that she was in a lot of pain. It has since taken me THREE visits, about $250, and numerous calls and other correspondence to have the doctor tell me that my cat MAY have asthma, MAY have diabetes, MAY have arthritis, MAY have other serious health issues, but that the only way to be sure is to get thousands of dollars worth of tests done. My cat does not breathe heavily and walks just fine. Being in touch with cats' emotions/physicalities for so long I am positive at this point that pain is the cause of her crying. I tried explaining this in many different ways and many different times to the nurses, techs, and doctors at VCA to no avail. This is unfortunate. I am now surrendering my cat back to the Humane Society tomorrow as it seems nobody is willing to prescribe pain meds that I have a pretty good feeling will work. All doctors-both human and feline-should know that pain is whatever the patient says it is, and that it can present itself in many different ways. To possible future clients: Do yourself a favor and pick a private practice vet clinic before VCA sells you on a bunch of unneeded tests and procedures. To VCA: Please don't bother with the "we're sorry to hear this... please contact us so we can help you further" robot response... I don't care to hear it. I will not be contacting you guys ever again.

Excellent service and a fair price. Took care of my German Shepherd. They did what an emergency vet that charged me $400 to do but couldn’t treat the first time. VCA Got it right the first time and it was under $200. Fair price, I think.

I made an appointment here when my usual vet was booked through the end of November and didn’t seem very concerned about my dog’s issues. Dr. Galbraith and every staff member I interacted with was absolutely amazing and professional! One if the receptionists even called another client to see if they could move their appointment time so my two girls could be seen together. To my surprise they even texted me the next day to check on one dog that had to have a same day procedure done. It was a no brainer to decide that VCA Woodland will be our new Vet! Thank you so much!

I've always been happy with VCA Woodland, but recently I started working with Dr Ham and have been very impressed with the level of care he has given my dog. He has gone out of his way to address my dog's needs and was able to quickly provide a diagnosis for something that had been tricky to nail down in the past.

I love this clinic! I decided to take my new puppy there because a friend had mentioned the membership they do can help save money up front and my husband and I have been strapped for cash sincd covid started. We've been there multiple times and the care club covers almost everything which is fantastic! We pay for the flea/tick and heartworm prevention but I'd rather get it from them than try to find something that works at the pet store. Highly recommend!

The staff is great, always friendly and willing to help out in any way. Their processes with the pandemic are very smooth, even if it's a little more time consuming. They genuinely care about the animals and their owners. Great place to care for your pets!

I have been here in the past with my dog and have had no problems, but I took my 4 month old cat to be neutered at VCA. I received a call that his surgery went very well, but when I went to pick him up I was told there was more swelling than they would like to see. When I got home my cat was alone for only 30 minutes and I walked into the room to find blood all over the floor. I took him back and they had him stay over night. I was then informed it that his cords were most likely over-stretched during surgery. I get that things like this can happen, but I was never informed before I took him home. When I went to pick him up from his overnight stay, no vet came to speak with me about his condition and a receptionist (no fault to her) brought him to my car and so she had no information on care I should be giving my cat. I have spoken to many people in the pet care community, and they have all told me that this should have never happened. The lack of communication was horrible, the vet who performed my cat's neutering didn't even know he went back to spend the night.

Worst place to take your dog! Takes forever to get them in, and they treat my pup like he is just a number. Hate to even give this review one star , but it's making me.
