We have been taking our 1 year old lab to doggy daycare for 6 months and recently boarded him there for 8 days while on vacation. They have one on one cuddle time that can be purchased and they even text me a pic of Hunter mid week. Every dog mom wants to know their fur babe is being well cared for, so I highly recommend Camp Bow Wow for this reason. They even get to play with other dogs in the daycare while being boarded so they’re not lonely.. just nice and tired. ❤️????

We needed to board our dog last minute when going on a trip, and the staff was so great and worked us in for a same day evaluation that rolled right into an overnight stay. Our dog gets very anxious in new places but they seemed to take their time with her and give her the attention she needed. Absolutely will use again!

Rocky loves CBW!!! It’s always clean and the staff is so professional. I never worry that my babe is having fun or that his care is lacking. He get’s so excited as soon as we turn the corner to head to Camp! The few small issues have always been resolved and the staff always gives feedback to make every interaction it’s best. I would highly recommend!

I am so disgusted at how our dog was handled here. We have boarded our pup here before due to travel. This was THE LAST time that Koda will ever step a paw in that facility. A previous time when we picked him up, he became lame but we chalked it up to playing too hard and mistakes happen. However, this incident was mishandled in more ways than one. Our pup was there for 10 nights, when we dropped him off we told them again that his bath was to be given to him on the morning of pickup and that if something happens even something small to call our contact (my mom), as he has had leg and prostate problems in the past. Towards the end of our trip we had recieved a generic newsletter stating they had a few kennel cough cases. We picked our pup up promptly on arrival. They handed us back his bedding that was soaked in pee. They also handed us a full gallon size bag of food - if he ate so well why was there so much food left? I only packed 2 extra cups. I asked how he did for his bath that morning and they said they gave him one a few days ago. When I inquired about it, they stated he had an accident. I asked them why my mom was not contacted and they did not have a response. Then they informed us again but the kennel cough, but now that Koda is showing symptoms. Again, I asked why no one was notified. Once again they did not have an answer. In just a matter of a few days this kennel cough turned into pneumonia and our pup just spent the last 24 hours in the hospital. When we called to inform Camp Bow Wow about what happened we were told that someone would call us back. That was this morning and they are now closed for the day. I am absolutely disgusted at how everything was handled. We trusted you to take care of our pup and you failed our family on multiple levels.

We've been taking our dog to Camp Bow Wow Grand Rapids Airport for daycare for three years now. The staff is very friendly and very accommodating to our dog, who is shy and can be a little anxious around people and dogs. Because our dog can take some time to warm up to new people, they are wonderful about giving him his space, letting him approach them, and loving on him when he lets them! Appreciate the flexible hours, safety guidelines, communication, and special offers in their emails. They really love our dog and do their best to give him a fun day when he's here!

Our dog has been boarded at Camp Bow Wow twice. The first time was for 7 nights and the second time was for 1 night. Both times he managed to get kennel cough. My wife and I are aware that kennel cough isn’t completely avoidable at boarding facilities. We were more understanding of this after his 7 night stay because we figured his risk/chance of getting it went up the longer he stayed there. This most recent time, he still got kennel cough even though he was only there for one single night. He coughed all week until Sunday when he coughed so violently that he vomited 20+ times and we had to take him to the emergency animal hospital. Long story short, we are tired of taking our dog to the vet/hospital (paying more money) just to get healthy again after a stay at Camp Bow Wow. Edit: I called and emailed Camp Bow Wow about our concerns. They sent an email back saying someone would reach out. That hasn’t happened.

My dog Buddy has been coming to Camp Bow Wow Airport for almost 10 years and for the past 7 years, he has been joined by his brother, Teddy. They absolutely LOVE seeing the counselors and the other campers 2 - 3 times every week. The counselors are so kind and loving and really understand the quirks of both dogs. Not only do my dogs love coming to Camp, I too am always happy to see the smiling faces of the great staff!! I’ve known Danni since she started working there and I am so proud to have watched her grow into now being a fantastic manager!! The dogs often have to get dropped off very early in the morning and I’m always impressed with how cheery and happy McKayla is when she sees us! Becky and Kate are some of our morning favorites who will often come out to greet “The Boys”. The afternoon team of Gilly and Bram are so adorable - I love hearing stories about how Teddy has a crush on their dog Marceline! I also have known Michaela for many years and am so sad that she is going to move away in the future. I don’t get to see Cleta very often but I can sometimes hear her in the back telling Buddy and Teddy that it’s time to go home and it always makes me laugh. Alyssa and Soraya are newer and they are also doing a great job! This is such a fun place for my dogs and they immediately crash when we get home. If they haven’t gone to camp for a few days, they will sit by the door in the morning hoping that they will get to go! I am so grateful to everyone at Camp Bow Wow Airport for their love of all the dogs and their excellent customer service!!! They all deserve a big raise! ????????????

We love the care you take of the dogs, including the rules and policies that make it a safe environment. I like that there was always a human in the play area with the dogs every time I used the Camper Cams. For an active dog like mine who craves mind stimulation, the sniff & seek games are a good break from pack play while still feeding his need to be busy and get human attention.

Our family loves the convenience of your service and the care that you give our pup. He's excited to visit with the staff and his friends each time we come. And he's exhausted from all the play time when we pick him up at day's end. That's saying a lot for a SUPER energetic husky!

My dogs absolutely loved it here. This was the first place we tried and we decided to not change. Because of Covid we did have to go to a different groomer and will never make that mistake again, we're a Camp Bow Wow family only now

Camp Bow Wow is comprised of dedicated people who love dogs!!! After relocating to the GR area, my dogs needed to make some new friends and a place to play during the day. I got two recommendations for Camp Bow Wow and after two days of doggy day camp, I get it. The interactive play concept at camp means by dogs are not locked up for long periods and are able to play most of the day (read: get really tired so they are calm when they get home!). I also love that I have access to see my dogs on camera via the Camp Bow Wow app. I feel confident sending my dogs here and can honestly say that my dogs love going!

Given the Stay At Home Order, it was very difficult to socialize our Labrador puppy who was unable to go to pet stores or out in public for many months. Camp Bow Wow has given him a safe, comfortable and fun place to go where he can meet other dogs and people. When he returns home he is happy and much more relaxed. Also, there are grooming and boarding services provided. We are very happy with Camp Bow Wow.

I love the staff! My pup is a high anxiety animal and needs a little extra attention.Tabitha worked with me over several weeks to make sure his meds were right for camp ensuring Bruce was tuckered out from play and not mental stress. Britny always greets my dog by name and is eager to tell me about his day. Which lets me know she’s looking out for him. I enjoy the wide variety of services offered by camp Bow wow but the staff truly makes it for me. Knowing people are caring for my good boy like he’s their own puts my mind at ease. Camp is a second home for Bruce. I love the GR airport location and wouldn’t board my dog anywhere else!
