I unfortunately was not there to adopt but to donate. These cats and dogs are very well taken care of at the facility. If you're looking for a new pet, adopt. These adorable fur babies need homes.

A little pricey for their adoptions, but worth it. They offer a lot of community services to help you care for your pets. The dogs and cats seem well cared for. Their cat room allows the cats to free roam. My puppy, now 2 years old, came from here and was one the best purchases I've made❤

I loved going in and getting to see all the cats! The guy who helped us with the cats was very nice. We held several different cats in the meeting room. We ended up adopting Ren and Meteorite. They are the sweetest cats! Especially Ren, he's such a lover. My boyfriend and I couldn't be happier with our cats we adopted from SPCA. Thank you so much! ????

They are great and don't mind if you take your time being selective. I don't know how many times we visited after our 16yrs old beagle mix past away, but the staff was always caring and friendly. We got our current dog from there and she is such a good fit I can't imagine life without her.

we had alittle trouble with the dog we adopted , SPCA was willing to take her back without a refund , the staff we encountered were so very helpful and pleasant, went out of their way to accommodate.

My son had never been to a pet shelter before and he loves cats so I thought I'd take him to "volunteer" to socialize them. When we left he said to me, "that's the best place I've ever been in my whole life!"

Very kind and we are so happy with our sweet calm kitten they called radish. Her name is now Gwendolyn. Named by the little girl who loves her so much!

I love the fact that the environment was very clean and the employees were super nice we just Adopted a kitten from them and they provide paperwork and even copies of the adoption. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for animals

SPCA graciously accepted my really nice unopened dog food and promised it would go to a good dog.

The staff here genuinely cares about the animals, in my experience. We adopted our dog, a Staffordshire Terrier mix, in November of 2020. She has been one of the greatest joys and blessings to our family - especially our youngest daughter who has special needs. The SPCA relies almost exclusively on donations, so all is appreciated. This includes financial, as well as items like food, dishes, toys, beds, enrichment, etc.

Every pet we have adopted through the SPCA of SW Michigan has had issues that were down played. They have lied to us about conditions of the dogs we have rescued from there. We were given unlabeled medicine and were expected to believe it was what they told us. I understand that this organization is meant to help get animals adopted, but they need to be more professional and up front with those who wish to adopt.

Not a lot of kitten or cats, so it seems they get adopted out quickly. The cats are more integrated with each other unlike other shelters that keep them very separate. The adoption fees are also less. Brought home the cutest playful kitty. Great place to check out if you're considering adopting a cat or dog.

Went to find out more about their program and walked out with a wonderful 4 year old pit mix named Desiree...She gets along great with our almost 7 month old pit... Thank you ????

Very pleased with their service and assistance in getting my fur baby.

Unfortunately, I had to return an adopted dog that was unsafe for my 3 year old daughter. Emily and Trisha treated me like I was the worst person on the planet. I was also misinformed by a volunteer during the adoption process. They only care about the money. They didn't do an interview with me at all about why I was bringing him back; didnt seem to care about him having a good adoption in the future. I will not be supporting the SPCA in the future.
