Place has everything good for the dogs

This happens to be the pet store closest to us, and our favorite one. It hasn’t been around as long so we’ve been to others before. But we keep coming back to this one. We’ve used the grooming and the pet store, and have been very pleased with both!

I don't like the way a manager handled someone I know. They were concerned when an employee wasn't wearing a mask and asked them why they were not wearing one. I'm whatever on this whole pandemic, but if we want to get technical, it's a Michigan regulation to wear a mask. If their mask fell off into a bucket of cleaner, then get them a new one or send them home. I can't say the customer is always right, but telling a concerned customer, "sorry we couldn't help how you feel. We will miss you!" when they inquire about the mask and tell you that they won't shop there anymore due to your attitude is poor management and poor customer service. Come on guys. You should point blank apologize for not abiding by Michigan state regulations, offer them a discount if you must, say you'll talk to them, apologize to them for their negative experience, and be on your way. Don't talk to people the way you did. Word of mouth is the best form of advertising and because of how you treated them, I will not shop here. Thank you! Edit: Hello Debbie. Thank you for your response! I saw the messages she received directly from your store. How is that one sided if there is written proof of your service and how you treat your customers? Or how about you caring less about this review, how you reacted to it or how other customers will perceive it? What are is Pet X doing to ensure the safety of their customers and employees? Even though I may not care much about COVID, there are far more people than me who take it seriously. This information is public and customers can read your responses. Customers trust reviews and will see that you really don't care about customer service. Word of mouth is important, and you are treating it as if you don't care. It's not personal, it's business.

I'm revising my review. Previously I stated the prices are high. The owner reached out to me immediately (as you see), and offered to work something out. This is customer service! You gained a star. And a customer, who values service above a few dollars. I'd give you five stars, but the mask issue is a n issue.
