On multiple occasions I have attempted to contact them. I have left messages with my number and information and I never hear back from them. At one point when I finally got someone to answer the phone they told me they were only taking emergency appointments due to covid. Later on I had a legitimate emergency for my animal and they refused to take them saying I should make an appointment with an emergency vet (paying thousands of dollars for something that could have been handled at the vet). I have stopped using this clinic for my animals. The response from them has been nothing but poor on every occasion.

I love the Vet, but this is such a horrible spot! You have to park in the road on Wealthy and it is a busy street. I have a severely high anxiety dog that was picked up by Pound Puppies in the streets of Muskegon before we got her. She is afraid of all vehicles and loud noises. She was a frantic mess by the time I could get her in the building and actually had to knock on the door so they would take her 5 minutes! Never again.

We won’t go to either facility again after just more than a year of taking our dog here. If you DO decide to have your pet seen here, make sure to have them tell you everything they are going to do BEFORE you show up, make sure you get an itemized bill every time, and make sure to find out what your pet will need within the next 1-2 months so they don’t try to break up your appointments. They are either really bad at communication or they are really good at squeezing you for as much as they can get out of you.

I absolutely love our vet! My dogs actually love going to go see them and have always been very well cared for here. My dog went to their other location in Wyoming recently and I had an equally as great of an experience.

Never take your animal to Wyoming animal hospital or wealthy street animal hospital. They have completely dropped the ball with my sick cat. In my opinion they’re extremely negligent, incompetent and do not care about the animals they’re supposed to be caring for. They’ve barely communicated with me at all and have not rectified the situation what so ever. My cat is now worse off after bringing her there than she was prior to me bringing her in. So if you’re thinking about going there literally go anywhere else. So upsetting.

Super helpful and insightful. Highly recommend.we went in anticipating a much higher bill. They were super helpful with printing out a quoted bill and allowed us to make an educated decision based on our budget. Facility is very clean and well equiped.

The front desk girl is rude, they are often slow to respond or don't at all and you have to reach out numerous times, and they consistently push for anything additional that they can charge you with.

This place is in a nutshell ONE BIG HEADACHE! There’s forever an issue with one thing or another and with each issue that arises I’m forced to reach out to other places just to ensure they have the meds needed. As simple as a heartworm or flea and tick prevention it’s become a hassle! Not to mention I brought my fur baby there to get his nails trimmed and even that they were unsuccessful! Basically they’re a train wreck in slow motion so my advice is to stay away! You will be disappointed! Sad however true from a fur baby momma who’s had several plus years of fur babies they are definitely incompetent and wouldn’t want anyone to endure the distress I’ve been through dealing with them.

They always stake such great care of our doggo. The staff is super sweet and helpful. It doesn't feel chaotic because there arent tons of animals everywhere, and its always super clean. Appointment times are true, and we feel like they always take the time and energy to explain and really provide the best quality care!

Great people who really care about dogs. Ask them for the peanut butter mat if your dog is going in for a shot

Staff is friendly, but I think they are after your wallet. Every time I take my animals in it’s impossible to not get a bill for less than $500. They simply over charge. You ask them to remove stuff the price is still high, so they can still win. I really enjoyed this place at first, but I just would prefer to go somewhere with honesty and integrity. Don’t try to give me every medicine under the sun just to keep your biz healthy. Put my animal first for what they actually need.

The veterinary staff is responsive, caring, and very knowledgeable, and they treat my pets like their own. I've been a client at two other area clinics, and the expertise, compassion and personalized treatment at Wealthy Street Animal Hospital is without comparison. Appointments run on-time, reception staff is helpful and friendly, and the doctors take time in each appointment to answer questions and be thorough. I have a very anxious, reactive dog who had been muzzled and restrained at another clinic in order to receive treatment. WSAH took the time to earn my dog's trust and was able to treat him without issue on our very first appointment.

Take your pets somewhere else. Anywhere else. I’ve had a string of horrible experiences here, starting with my first visit. Both of my cats, who are usually chill about vet visits, freaked out as soon as we got into the exam room. Rather than listening to me as to how to best calm them down, or allowing me to help, the assistant tried to forcibly wrap the cats in towels and made things even worse. This turned out to be the norm—they routinely compensate for a lack of animal skills with brute force. Later, they left white compression tape on my cat’s white foot without letting us know to remove it. I was out of town for a day and came back to her foot swollen to 3 times it’s normal size. If I’d been gone another day, she likely would have lost the foot. And when one of our cats swallowed a pill, Wealthy pumped her full of medicine to induce vomiting before sending us to the emergency vet. At the emergency vet, they were astounded at how sedated our cat was from the medicine, horrified that Wealthy had given her such a high dose, and baffled as to why Wealthy wouldn’t have sent a poisoning case directly to the emergency hospital as they did not have the ability to treat it. Please don’t subject your pets to this vet. They are incompetent, careless with animals’ lives, and unable to get through a basic exam without manhandling your pets.

We love Wyoming & Wealthy animal hospital so much that we drive an hour to see their vets. They care about your animals and they're happy to answer all of your questions.

Since I was a child we have used the same vet, over 30yrs. I have switched my pets last year. BEST VET EVER! They are so caring, so gentle and the prices are comparable to my last vet. Even a little cheaper. They took the time to remove the lid of my cat carrier so they did not have to pull her out of it. My dog was immediately taken into a room because she was young and barking in the waiting room. Very attentive to what each animal truly needs.

very caring staff. not the most convenient for parking but staff helped me get my dog back in my car with the busy traffic time. Dr. Jenison also took time to explain things to me regarding my dogs allergic reaction as well as other concerns I had.

I am so grateful to everyone that works here. We have never had a bad experience. They always go above and beyond to care for my pup and make sure we’re comfortable. Today my dog was bit by another dog and I rushed over there and they took her no questions asked. They stitched her up, reassured me to not worry about the mess, and gave me a token to go get a free coffee across the street. I’m forever grateful to them.

I took my cat in to be checked for a uti. They were very good with him and explained everything very clearly to me. They couldn't get a urine sample from him at the time of the visit so they offered a couple of options to me. They treated him for what he was there for and didn't try to sell me anything else. And the office cat, Edgar, is a sweetheart. Parking is VERY limited.

They have a great staff here. They seem like they really care about the animals. The Dr's are very knowledgeable. I love that they have a separate dog and cat entrance, too! But this place is EXPENSIVE!

I took my new puppy here for a general check up upon adoption. Some tests were ran and I was told I would hear results back the following business day. I didn't hear anything, so like any other vet or doctor I've gone to, I assumed no news is good news. A week later (10 days after the appointment), I get a call that she tested positive for a parasite. I understand mistakes happen, but I wanted an explanation. I asked to speak to someone when we went in to get medication and was told the manager would call me in two days the next time she was in the office. By late afternoon the day I was supposed to get a call, I still had not heard so I called the office and was told "she'll call you back if she has time." At this point I'm frustrated. She calls me back, but this was now four days after they had realized their mistake - again, people make mistakes, but I just wanted an explanation. I tried out this vet because of some recommendations from friends who all said their pets are treated great and they always get follow up calls to check in after visits to see how the animal is doing. My dog and I unfortunately did not get this outstanding customer service.

They were great with my senior beagle, comforted when he reacted to the blood draw and make sure he was distracted while they check his ears.
