Great veterinarians, great staff, great care. Have had multiple animals treated here. I wish I could give more than 5 stars! The surgeon just saved my kitty from cancer!

Had to make the very difficult decision to put my 13 year old Aussie Shepherd down this week, and have been a client of theirs for 13 years. Called to inquire about euthanasia and was told I would have to bring her in for an exam first. An exam for what? They said, "well we haven't seen her in a year." I said "she's blind, senile, and losing control of her bladder, what's to exam? Do people like..put their dogs down too soon or something?" "Yeah, some people do..actually, " she said. I was horrified that this receptionist was implying I could be one of those people. In my worst time of need, she was a cold hearted, greedy a-hole. So, I inquired about pricing. Surprise surprise the exam fee was like 70 dollars. I said, can you guys waive that considering she really doesn't need an exam? She said "I'll have my hospital manager call you back," in a rude tone, and hung up. No one ever called me. So I went the extra mile for my dog and paid for an at home euthanasia service that treated my family and I and my dog with dignity. Every since this office got sold to VCA they only care about the bottom line. Money. And to top it off making me feel like some criminal for having to make such a heartbreaking choice. Seriously. Avoid these horrible people.

Amazing staff. So kind and thorough, explained things well and were so sweet to my kitty. I appreciate how they truly care for your pet! Nice and clean facility. A bit pricey, but worth it to have dependable, kind people to work on your pet.

I have been kenneling my poochie there for years. They go the extra mile for my elder dog who just turned 14.

VCA is responsive and caring. They have taken care of my dog for 2.5 years (since he was born), and done a great job.

I took my dog in on January for her normal check up and shots. Nothing was ever said about her health. In March I took her in for her lab tests that were required in order to get a new prescription. When the vet called on Monday they said her levels were good and I asked how her heart was , they said her heart was fine. The next day she was throwing up and I tried to take her in and they had no openings. So I rushed her to the nearest vet. They said she was in critical condition with excessively high kidney and liver values and she had congestive heart failure. I then took her to A 24 hour emergency hospital. There they said she has had congestive heart failure for sometime. And I would have to put her to sleep. I wouldn’t recommend this vet to a snake. Very unreliable and they don’t perform the services that are needed. All they think about is money.

Recently had my first appointment for my cat here. Appointment was at 4:15 and we didn’t get in until 4:45 but it was worth the wait! Doctor was extremely nice and very helpful with all my questions. She even printed out some articles for me. This will definitely be my vet for my cat from now on.

Always 8 weeks out for scheduling. Hard to get ahold of. Switching to Eastown Veterinary Clinic because they actually have the time to see my pet within a reasonable timeframe ????????

Today I was yet again disappointed by the lack of professionalism this office has when dealing with customers. Due to COVID they have good restrictions in place. I called and spoke with a Lisa and asked her how long would the appointment last. She said it was a 45 minute appointment so I told her I would be right back (I leave 5 minutes away and had left my computer at home. On my way back to pick her up, I get a call from this same Lisa lady who very rudely reprimanded me for leaving. I reminded her that I had asked how long the appointment was and I said “I told someone” which was her. She told me to just come pick up my dog. When I got there she came out and again very rudely told me to never drop off my dog again. I called and asked to speak to her manager. She said the manager was going to be busy for hours. This same lady is the reason I don’t use them fir boarding as she shaved my dog a few years ago when she was in charged of the boarding dogs during Christmas. Now my dog is afraid of going in. I thought staying with them was worthwhile because it was not boarding but now the lady is at the front counter and I can’t tolerate being treated like a child. I have an accent but I am not stupid nor do I deserve to be treated this way.

Not happy about the fact that I was charged for something I'd already paid for. I had to send in *proof from my checking account* that I'd actually covered the charge. It took calling back and forth to get this straightened out and multiple times being put on hold. In the meantime, my pet was without his prescription food. One staff person made me feel like it was my fault, when it was actually their mistake. It was explained to me that it had to do with a 2-part process for billing. Part 1 had been completed, but the 2nd part of the process hadn't. I couldn't get the mistake cleared up until after the weekend when a manager was available. I hope they fix this snafu. I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone.

I would highly recommend taking your fur baby here!!! I have been taking my dog here since 2015 and have never had a bad experience. They work with me on my budget. They are prompt, kind, and courteous. My dog can be skittish and gets scared at the vet, but the workers are always so gentle, calm, and loving. You can actually tell all the employees truly love animals.

Thank you for getting my dog Lola in for multiple same-day appointments last week. She unfortunately did not make it, but the staff was so kind, sympathetic, and caring and I could not have asked for a more calm and safe environment to say goodbye to her. They allowed me to be with her when she passed (with PPE) even though their office is closed to the public due to Covid. She was a shy little pup so it would have been scary for her to go in alone. I also needed to be there for my own peace and for her to know I love her. The vet was so kind and helped me feel at peace with my decision and knowing I did the best I could for Lola.

All the girls were nice. The Doctor was genuinely interested in helping my cat. She prescribed the proper medication the first time. I highly recommend this vet.

I am VERY disappointed in VCA Northeast Animal Hospital. I have been a loyal client for several years, taking 3 (now 4) animals to them. I have one cat who is VERY difficult to put in a carrier. I've come to them bloodied from my attempts at getting her in the carrier. They've provided me with sedatives for this cat in the past. Today, I had difficulties getting my cat in the carrier. I called 10 minutes prior to my appointment to let them know. The response I received was "we are scheduling out till November." As though having that knowledge was going to help me get my cat in the carrier any easier or faster. I was then able to get my cat in the carrier, contacting them 15 minutes after my appointment was supposed to be. I was told that they couldn't fit me in. Knowing this cats history, I am extremely disappointing and will not be returning.

We just went here today and we were blown away by how great they are! We had an urgent but not emergency situation with one of our rats, and they were able to squeeze us in next day because they knew how important it was to see her asap. She saw Dr. Koelzer, who was so knowledgeable and kind and willing to go the extra mile to give our pet the best care. We are switching all of our exotic/pocket pet care to here now because of this experience! Everyone was kind and you could tell that even though we are in a pandemic and things may not be as quick or easy to do as before, they provided great care and you can tell they care about your pets.
