Forest Hills Veterinary Clinic Grand Rapids, Michigan

We had our first visit at FH Veterinary Clinic with our new kitten early August and I was very pleased with the service and care.

I've been taking my dogs to Dr. Stasiak at Forest Hills Vet for 15 years, and they have always provided only the best care for my dogs. They are always willing to take phone call questions about weird stuff going on, and Dr. Stasiak is always willing to spend the time to make sure all the questions are answered. A few times when my dog was really sick he called over the weekend to see how things were going and check up on her. Everyone who works there knows all the dogs names and you can tell they really, truly love animals. It's a bit of a drive to get there for me, and they aren't open on weekends, but I couldn't imagine taking my dogs anywhere else.

Have been a great help for my dog and an awesome resource to avoid emergency vet bills. My dog ate a bunch of candy and I called and Dr. Stasiak talked me through how to see if she was okay and making her throw up and we didn't have to make an appointment or spend thousands on an emergency visit. Great place for pet health!

We just adopted a rescue dog, and were surprised that our old vets office would not be able to see us in a timely fashion. Forest Hills Vets got us in quickly, even as a new client, and have been professional, comprehensive, and Covid-cautious. Thanks to Dr. Knowles and his staff!

I've been taking my pets to Dr. Stasiak for almost 20 years. I always know that he has the best interest of my pets in mind and I appreciate the fact that he always takes the time to clearly communicate procedures, answer my questions, and followup with a personal phone call to check on my pet's recovery. I've referred him to handful of friends and family members. And the rest of the staff in the office is great, too!

FHVC really is a great place to bring your pet(s)! Genuine care, reasonable pricing and staff are very friendly and accommodating! My cat has been going to FHVC for 2 years now and they’re the only one I trust to care for her. They give courtesy calls for appointments and great advices. The passion they have for our pets truly is sincere!

Dr. Knowles took very good care of my girl, seeing us for an urgent reason but also conducting a full exam and getting her updated on a couple of vaccines she was a little late on. He followed up after the weekend exactly as promised. I sincerely appreciated their attention. My only complaint is that I was given a verbal estimate only because the technician was unsure as to how to print it, but then the actual total exceeded it by a full $120+. I also realize that it was simply an estimate, however, she specifically told me that all the vaccinations would be included in the price she gave me, whereas later she said she had inexplicably not added them in. Therefore, nothing "new" or unexpected happened between estimate and payment, she simply miscalculated. I thought that the price was reasonable (at the first estimate), so I do think it was a bit high as the vaccinations shouldn't have been over $100. However, I will continue to use them as our primary vet as long as there is not further charge for the (simple) after-care.

Took our dogs in for their regular vaccines, both vets are great and the staff is excellent as well. Also took my dog in after he ate a bottle of pills and they did a great job of seeing him right away, getting the pills out of him, and he's doing great! Prices are perfectly reasonable as well. I would definitely recommend this vet to anyone in the area.
