Took the puppy on Friday for a nasal infection. Dr. Drysdale ordered some medication, and puppy is doing much better. Their prices seem to be in line with other clinics.

Recently left another Vet Service in Delta Township after 46+years as they changed to "Corporate Ownership". We've been welcomed very warmly at Hartel and are so pleased with them.

Went in for a simple heart worm blood test. Vet tech Andrea simply sprayed alcohol on my long haired dachshund’s leg, no skin exposed she fished all over, totally unaware of where to find a vein. She grabbed another syringe to do this again. I politely asked her to shave the other front leg before attempting, in order for her to have a visual of the vein before injecting the needle. She quickly took a little bit of hair off the top of her bone and began jabbing again; having no clue as to where the vein was. My puppy was screaming in pain! I told her to stop fishing around when she had no clue to canine venous anatomy! I left immediately! I did call the office manager who told me “their staff never makes mistakes.” She then hung up on me. Don’t let this happen to your loving pet!!!

Dr. Melissa Wyatt and her staff are passionate about excellent pet care! Everyone has been kind, courteous, and professional over the two years we have been patients of this clinic. Our two pups are excited and happy to see Dr. Wyatt and her staff at every visit, even the not so fun vaccine visits. Even through the chaos and busy scheduling during the pandemic, we are still pleased with the excellent care they provide!

Ordered medication for 7 dogs over the phone for next day pick up. Order was ready first thing next day and was correct. My critters have gone to Hartel Vet for the past 26 years. Staff is great!

My cat Leo was very ill. I called around to different local vets and no one would see him. I had went to Hartel veterinary hospital years ago, so I gave them a call. They got him in that same day. I was extremely grateful. I will never go to another vet.

Our family recent adopted a 12 week puppy that needed her vacinations during Covid. Due to restrictions, a lot of veterinary clinics were not taking new patients. Hartel Veterinary Hospital took us on and was very quick to get our puppy, give her a checkup and her vacinations within 3 days of calling. I was impressed with both Dr. Wyatt and Dr. Z coming out to speak to me about our puppy and her health. I was also very happy with the assistant coming out to get our puppy for her checkup. She is a very timid puppy around new people, and she went right in the office with the assistant with no issues. The cost was very reasonable and affordable which was very helpful during the holidays. I appreciate everything that Hartel has done for Bailey. I highly recommend them for their pet's services.
