Canine College Farmington, Michigan

Love this place! My Frenchie is so happy when he goes to Canine College and comes home exhausted! I love being able to watch him on the cameras throughout the day! The staff is amazing, so helpful and so nice! They truly love and care about your dog!

Everyone there was so polite and professional. They did an excellent job with my dog and I WILL be bringing him back there whenever he needs grooming or kenneling.

Julie is the best groomer! She is very kind, patient and always do a excellent job!

It is so much easier dropping our dog off for a few days knowing he is in a play area with other dogs from 6am - 6pm with a rest period at lunchtime when other kennels only offer play time for 1-2 hours a day. They also offered rest time options through out the day when he had strained his leg. We now take him weekly for a 1/2 day play date.

Love this place, but more importantly my dog loves going there. Very clean, friendly staff. Appreciate their service.

The staff members are amazing and go above and beyond, for both the dogs they board and their overprotective, nervous, dog owners. They put me at ease each time I drop my best friend off. ????

Jake looks forward to going to Canine College and comes out happy every time. We like being able to see him on the video too.

My dog loves to go to Canine College, and I am happy to send him there! The staff care about the dogs in their care, and because there is little staff turnover he doesn’t have to continually get used to new employees. I feel comfortable and confident leaving my dog at CC for grooming, daycare and extended boarding.

Found Canine College via google search. I was looking for a groomer for my 14 week old pup for his 1st haircut. Well I received way more than I expected. They did a great job with the haircut, my puppy appeared to love all of team members. They also have an array of other options for your pet. Day care, boarding, training, and an amazing canine store. The entire theme is a college theme and my pup is enrolled as a freshman and will be staring training and day boarding very soon. I’m excited and I recommend Canine College. A year in a half later and my Pup still loves Canine College! I can trust them with him. Anytime he needs a haircut, boarding, just some playtime for a few hours, Canine is always there!!!

Ellie loves to go to Canine College. She has a great time playing there and always comes home exhausted.

My Aussiedoodle loves it here! He regularly attends daycare and also is groomed and boarded here on occasion. Always a great experience!

Great staff and idea in general. There are a LOT of "students" though and not a lot of stimulus. Only a single play structure outside for the variety room for example. They do a great job taking care of your pup though :) Love that they have on site grooming as well :)

Very friendly staff. It was our first visit and very happy with how everything went. We will def be bring our sweet girl again :)

My dogs are well taken care of! I love the fact that they are not locked up all day like other places but that they are in the play areas that are inside and out. The areas are also divided by the size of the dogs meaning the small ones are not mixed with the German shepherds!! My schnauzer takes several medicines daily and they are very attentive to times, etc! Try them out! They have daycare, grooming, training, etc!!

Great place to socialize and burn up there energy

I am actually new and my dog will be attending for the first time next week, but my two phone calls to Canine College that were handled by Dylan, I was beyond impressed! Dylan is patient, friendly, answered all my questions and made me feel valued. When I met Dylan in person he was exactly the same!! So friendly! Canine College is working with our schedule which is fabulous. Can’t wait for my dog’s first session next week!! UPDATE SEPTEMBER 27, 2021. Well, I am no longer new and my dog, Levi has been attending Canine College regularly since I first posted the above review. I am even HAPPIER NOW than I was then! Levi had his first "overnight" at Canine College this past Saturday and I could tell when we picked him up yesterday that he had a blast. I was able to watch on the webcam Sunday morning and he appeared to have never missed a beat! I loved that I could have someone watch a movie with him and pet him before bed, as well as give him a snack and another potty break (it is extra, but is well worth it). Everyone at Canine College is friendly, professional, kind, they take the time to answer all of my MANY questions (I talk a lot!!!) in a patient manner and I never am made to feel rushed or insignificant. Levi also goes to daycare once a week (next week he may be coming 3 days! for that week) and he has regular once a week training sessions with mostly Dylan whom he ADORES! All of the Trainers at CC are extremely good and knowledgeable, as well as patient. We prefer to have continuity and regularity with one trainer whenever we are able to and we love Dylan as much as Levi does! The entire front desk staff, field staff, the "runners", EVERYONE is superb at Canine College. We are blessed to have them in our lives and now that we are "regulars" we feel as if they are family! We couldn't be happier! Oh and the Bark Shop is the BEST!!!!!

My 14 week old pup looks like he's having fun. I LOVE the webcam feature and the fact that I can drop him off at any time, no reservation required. I highly recommend the $82 6-visit package for 3-6 month old dogs.

The last two times my dogs has been here he has came back with kennel cough. He is not neutered so he shouldn’t have been in contact with any other dogs the last time. He also has a swollen testicular. This place is convenient and friendly but after these last two times I have some questions.

Great place to trust with your 4-Legged part of the family. Friendly staff and always happy to see your dog. Everyone knows your dog by name even thought there are hundreds of other dogs. My dog loves to come here for daycare and for boarding.

Had a terrible experience with our dog who had boarded happily elsewhere multiple times. On his first boarding stay here, and after several days at the facility, became ill ultimately requiring emergency care. The protocols and procedures at Canine College to address this type of situation along with the communications fr the staff (infrequent and inaccurate amongst staff) were severely lacking. Would not recommend.

I can’t even begin to tell you how happy we are with Canine College! We have been bringing our puppy to the facility since he was 10 weeks old (he was the office puppy at that time). We have utilized both the daycare and boarding services, as well as grooming. They are hands down awesome! As soon as we pull up with our pup, he knows he is in for a good time and can’t wait to get in the doors! The training staff and customer service folks love our boy just as much as he loves them, and it’s obvious he is treated very well during his stays. We are impressed with their attention to size, age and readiness for dogs to move to the next level (Freshman, JV, etc.) relative to the other dogs they are playing with. As well, there is proper attention to issues when a dog should be kept home (illness, etc.) so as not to spread illness to other dogs. The facility is clean, organized and the front desk staff is cheerful and helpful! I know our pup has had an awesome time at Canine College because he needs a couple extra naps the day after a Canine College day!

I take my dog here a couple times a week and he loves going. All the staff are great with him. They also have a latchkey option for a small fee, which is nice because I get stuck at work sometimes and I don't have to worry about getting home in time to let him go to the bathroom etc. I have also used them for boarding as well, without any issues and I don't have any concerns about his care while I am away.

Canine College is amazing! My large-breed puppy was SO anxious around other dogs and didn’t know how to play. The coaches in the play yards were great about getting her comfortable and making sure she wasn’t mobbed by too many dogs at first. Puppy Development training helped SO much and now she LOVES day care! I love how the trainers only use rewards and praise instead of punishment. My puppy HAS to greet the trainers whenever she sees them and is so happy.with them! She is much more manageable and is about to start a second round of puppy development to keep learning! My puppy even did well boarding for a weekend! We got the cutest “report card” and I liked that I could add-on a “snack, snuggle, and a show” as well as an exit bath. It’s great to know your dog has a safe, fun place to stay when you’re out of town. We LOVE Canine College and tell everyone about it!!!
