My puppy, Maggie, was hit by a car. She was brought into this clinic for help with her broken leg and other issues. The wonderful, caring manager Amy, jumped straight into action to help this poor pup! Dr. Jones and Dr. Rozenbaum we’re so very caring and took very good care of Maggie! They literally helped save her life and I couldn’t be more grateful! Thank you to the staff at Advanced Veterinary Medical Center!!!

I took a puppy in the other day that had been hit by a car. Her leg was broke and she needed surgery. I really wanted to keep her. They said a lady that worked there would take her. So why did I have to pay $200.00 to help the puppy. I don't think that was fair for me to pay that if someone there was going to keep her. NOT FAIR to me.

Dr. Rosenbaum and Dr Jones see my 2 large breed dogs and are great at what they Do to help my babies! I've been a client here for a few years and I appreciate that they both will listen to my ideas and consider them when treating my animals . One of my dogs is very nervous with people and actually seems to do very well here as the environment isn't chaotic

AVMC has always been fantastic. They take care of our two Goldendoodles and have always been friendly and helpful. Not the least expensive vet but also not overly expensive, I feel like we are getting good care though which is important. We were going to another vet in Livonia and it constantly felt like we were being hit by charge after charge for little things, and haven’t had that at AVMC. Choosing a good vet is tough, but I think advanced veterinary medical center are great. I waited a year to write a review and have had the dogs in many times (mainly for puppy checkups and vaccinations).

DO NOT GO HERE!! The techs/vet assistants are wonderful. That said their bookkeeping is abysmal. I decided to do their wellness plan, where you pay a monthly charge and it covers a large portion of your pet's services for the year. I payed my first payment in July of 2020 so should have paid my last one June of 2021. I called in May to confirm this and make sure they had noted I did not wish to continue. They charged me for July 2021 and when I called they said that they hadn't charged me for January 2021. They also said I still owe a month. At this point I was done, and asked to pay the rest of what I owe on a different card, which I did. The girl I spoke to at this time, Michaela, was incredibly rude, and ended up hanging up on me when I asked to speak to the practice manager. I called back and spoke to the practice manager who assured me it was all settled and I wouldn't be charged again. August 2021, I'm charged again. I left a message Saturday (8/21) to be called first thing Monday morning to have this addressed. No one called me and when I called back I was told the practice manager was not available but they would send her a message. I called back again and was told they could speak to a doctor. Still waiting on a call back from that, (it's Thursday now). I will be filing a report with the better business bureau.

I was going to be a first time client with Advanced Veterinary Medical Center. Their website said to email for appointments and I did exactly that. My appointment was for May 27th at 10:30 in the morning. I loaded up my dog who hates car rides and headed over. I called when I showed up and a woman came out and told me that I did not confirm my appointment. I went through my email to show her that I did in fact confirm my appointment and she said that they just didn't see that I confirmed my appointment. It didn't matter either way because they were down a doctor and told me that they couldn't see me anyway and that they would call to reschedule, but that first encounter with such unprofessional people put a bad taste in my mouth that I'd rather take my business elsewhere.

On 2 occasions the doctor has saved my dogs life. I’m so appreciative of the knowledge and thoroughness of the exams, as well as the professionalism and kindness of the staff.

If possible to give zero stars I would. Three times now I have had an issue getting my dog into seeing the doctor and have had to go to emergency vet, costing more. They had no concern with the health and well being of our pet who has been a patient there for over three years. Their response was "that's fine" when I mentioned looking for another vet not let me ask the vet and see what we can do and try and help.

My dog is sick. I called the office on Monday. They were closed and the answering machine did not indicated that I received a call on Wednesday and she offered me an appointment for my sick dog. Next Monday my dogs are scheduled for a well visit on Tuesday. I called the office today to find out what time is my dog's appointment Stephanie is the young lady that answer the phone I ask if I can come in because one of my dogs is sick she said no because we have a staff member that's pregnancy that is not a reason not to be able to come in with my pets if she had told me do to Covid-19 we are not allowing anyone in the building I would have been ok with that, Stephanie told me I can go somewhere else I pay for two well care plans at this office, I can't go anywhere else I would have to pay out of pocket . I ask what was her name and could I speak to the doctor I told Stephanie I was going to report her unprofessional behavior she told me she didn't care and hung up the phone I live in Farmington Hill 5 mins from the office I went to the office I was very professional ask to see the doctor and ask who is Stephanie I told her she had just spoken to me on the phone. I'm bringing my dogs to their appointment on Tuesday. I told the doctor I do not want Stephane to have nothing to do with my dogs period! This was a bad Customer service experience

They made having to give my furbaby an IV daily, at home, not so scary. I've been taking her there all 17+ years of her life. I've seen different Doctors over the years, but every one has been proficient and extremely Pet and People friendly. The staff is as compassionate as they come too!

Dr. Rozenbaum, Dr. Jones and the entire staff are amazing! They truly care about each pet they see. Very compassionate and upfront about costs. I had an emergency with my dog and they made time last minute to see him. Highly recommend. They also offer a heath maintenance plan that is definitely worth the money if you take your pet to the vet more then twice a year.

Over charges immensely and tries to get you to have services that are not needed. They also will charge you if you miss an appointment due to unforeseen circumstances even when you have shelled out over a$1200.00 in less than 3 months for general reasons.

I couldn't even get someone to call me back to set up an appointment instead just emails asking me 1 question at a time. I never got an appointment set up & made an appointment else where. I dont want to work with a company that is going to be involved with the care of my pets that feels email is the best source of communication especially when I've never been there. Sad, I'm looking for a vet that I trust but it won't be this one.

We tried using their online system to book an appointment and had little luck getting anything done when we called. I'd look for for a vet with more professional front desk staff. They were pretty flakey here.

We love Advanced Veterinary for our dog and cat! They are great with the animals, provide amazing care and always make our visits as less stressful as possible.

After 15 years of Being a patient with all of our animals....our loving dog came down with cancer and when it was his time to be put down < emergently so,> and even though he had appointment that day at 1:30 , since it was 10::30 in the morning they would not take him or see us & we had to rush to an emergency vet that we had never met before to help us at all!! . Sadly & truly the emergency vet took more care & time with us than our what was faithful doctor rosenbaum and his staff chose to do for our baby. So we have found a new vet...... think twice.

Well, I deleted my review because my story doesn't matter, they won't cancel my accounts and stop charging my card!! I'm changing my vet. Period. Any vet that asks you to join a program for money is asking for resentment. I was just told to go to the ER instead of them for a little cut on the back of my cat that just needs to be looked it cant wait til friday. And I still can't get my dog fixed. I pay almost $90 a month to them for 2 out of 8 pets on a program... all 8 of my pets have been seen there regularly. Tried to cancel the program but they said I had to go through their management team. And they are NOT available on a Wednesday at 10am? Really? I'm done.
