Abigail is the best. She was available to me and my dogs at a time when things were very tense between them. Her guidance and recommendations have proven to be beneficial. My dogs and I are still training but in a short time, with consistency, I’ve seen good results.

I can't express enough how grateful we are to have K9 Turbo in our area. With a rescue pit bull that came from a dog fight situation, it has been damn near impossible to find a boarding arrangement that can assist her in her anxiety and fearfulness of people outside of her family. We have missed weddings, funerals, and births because we couldn't bear to undo the progress she's made and leave our pup in a cage in a barn like we've discovered most boarding facilities offer... ... Until we found K9 Turbo. Their hands-off option is a DREAM. With a 17 acre (super clean and well maintained) farm just outside of Ypsilanti, private COMFORTABLE quarters, onsite staffing (Francisco is a dream), plenty of outdoor exercise and play, and an opportunity to further her trust with humans that are well-versed in meeting her where she's at in her journey to learn to "dog", I truly couldn't imagine a more perfect boarding experience for our particular needs. Our Trainor KJ is great, listened to everything we had to say, watched how we interacted with our doggo and how well my wife and I are with her, how well she listens and good we are with her! We’ve brought our puppy Gimli to K9 Turbo for two different 6week long classes and also competed an online workshop. All of the trainers we’ve worked with have been so professional, informative and wonderful! Gimli loves going to class and adores the instructors. K9 Turbo also has great customer service and care as we had some issues with scheduling on our part for one of the classes. They were very receptive and quick to help us find a solution for scheduling, going above and beyond when something unexpected came up. We’ve told so many other pet owners about our positive experience with K9 turbo and are regularly complimented on how well behaved Gimli is despite only being 8 months old. Highly recommend them for all of your dog training needs if you’re looking for positive reinforcement and cooperative care training!

Katelin and the K9T Team changed our lives when it comes to our reactive rescue! Fear based aggression in dogs can be so isolating because everyone just assumes that you haven't trained your dog well enough. This was also made worse by our rescue being a bully breed. Working 1 on 1 with the trainers in her personal environment significantly helped. They didn't just train the dog, they trained us as owners to be able to recognize what our dog was trying to communicate with her body language, and how we can help her to feel more comfortable. They reassured us that we were doing the right things. They significantly changed our lives, helped our pup improve on her reactive behaviors and made our lives calmer and more enjoyable.

I want to share the outstanding experience I’ve had working with K9T since adopting Ziggy at 3 months. Now 3 years old, Ziggy (50 pound terrier mix) and I have had many sessions with Rachel, mostly dealing with fear -- fear of weird things on people’s front lawn (Halloween), strangers on the street, dogs on the street (he’s great with dogs at daycare), bikes, motorcycles … Through Rachel’s superb knowledge, patience, and awesome attitude, Ziggy has thrived. Gone, or at least greatly reduced, are most of his fears. A few outdoor “buddy” sessions with another dog radically changed Ziggy’s behavior for the better when passing dogs on our daily walks. Most recently, at our cottage on Lake Huron there are many dogs roaming our beach off-leash with their humans, but despite all my worry, Ziggy was a star. He played and/or hung out with dogs from three months to thirteen years -- great with all of them. He knows the social rules. His recall was impressive. I watch him and think “how did this happen?” What happened is K9T. It’s about what Rachel has taught me. And that’s helped me to relax so that I can better understand Ziggy’s language, and help him relax. Ziggy is a very happy boy. So thank you, Rachel and K9T!

We have been fortunate enough to work with several trainers from K9 Turbo Training, and couldn’t be happier! Our dogs have some reactivity, (among other issues), and they are living their absolute best lives because of working with these amazing trainers. They are professional, the top in their field, knowledgeable and friendly. We do not live locally, so we utilize the virtual training, which has been great for reactive dogs, and somewhat introverted owners. We will forever be grateful to K9 Turbo Training, and continue to utilize their services for years, and loving pets to come.

I cannot recommend K9TT enough. The trainers are excellent and genuinely care about each dog they teach. They are able to adapt to individual skill levels and empower dog owners. I especially love how non-judgmental, understanding and compassionate they are. And that's just the trainers! The staff behind the scenes are wonderful too-- so responsive to emails and always friendly. We love K9TT and will continue to support and utilize them whenever we can.

I just started a class with K9 Turbo Training and they have been nothing but professional. My dog Ellie ended up being the only dog enrolled in a class after 1 session and they worked with me to reschedule and sign up for a different class that worked well with my schedule. Would recommend!!

K9 Turbo is the absolute best training in the area. I highly recommend them to everyone. I saw huge changes in my dog and so did family and friends. K9 Turbo trainers are so kind and don’t make you feel dumb for not knowing what to do. They made Axel feel so comfortable in the training rooms. Axel can get overwhelmed easily and they always made sure he had a safe space with distractions or treats. He warmed up so quickly. If you’re considering other places for dog training that are cheaper or sound easier, seriously stop! I wish I started our dog at K9 Turbo sooner. They will give you the knowledge to create a stronger bond with your dog. While we aren’t in a class currently, we’re still benefiting from the info they gave us to work on training at home. K9 Turbo is so worth it.

Excellent one on one dog training Lots of tips. Not cheap but overall good value

I can’t say enough good about K9 Turbo Training. We had an issue with our girls getting along. Without Kaitlyn and K9 I don’t know where we would be today. If we reached out there was a response. The trainer was fantastic. Someone was always available to help. Even as time goes on the team is always there to support. You will not go wrong choosing the trainers and staff at K9. Best decision we ever made. If there were more stars to be given I would absolutely do so.

We can't say enough amazing things about K9 Turbo! Amazing trainers, fabulous boarding, wonderful people. It was an absolute pleasure working with Rachel while we lived in Michigan, and we still love boarding our reactive guy (our dog Ford) at the K9 Turbo farm whenever travel brings us back to the midwest from the East Coast.

I have worked with a couple of the trainers at K9 turbo training with my fearful dog Ella! I worked with them when she was a puppy and then again in group classes last summer at 5 years old! Ella has progressed in many areas and always enjoys her training with them and I learn new things each time! I highly recommend them if you have a fearful dog or a dog who just needs a little extra help!

K9TT has COMPLETELY changed our lives when it comes to our dogs. We rescued a highly anxious, large dog and we had to make his world very small in order to make him comfortable. We were struggling with our reactive and anxious puppy, and I am so happy we found K9 Turbo. K9 Turbo Training has been amazing with my two dogs! I initially got involved with their 14 Day Training Challenge and loved how much I learned from it! It taught me so much about how to train my dogs to understand what I’m asking for. My outgoing border collie loves all the games we learned! I also have done a one-on-one video consult which was SO AMAZING! So much information packed into an hour that has totally changed my dogs problem behaviors! I also took their online workshop for recall and they helped me work through my skittish mini aussies training issues! Cannot give them enough positive reviews!

There is one more dog still living in this world because of Kate & Francisco of K-9 Turbo. After raising two St Bernards from puppies...we fell in love with the breed. After losing both of them we decided to rescue an adult from the Humane Society. We thought all would be good if we just gave him a good home..... we did not realize he came with “baggage “. He was reactive to both people & other animals. Within the first four weeks he had bitten four people. We were at our wits end and were considering euthanasia as was recommended by the vet. We decided to make one more good try & contracted K-9 Turbo to help us. Kate & Francisco helped us to recognize his reactions & thus manage his responses. We have had him 3 1/2 years - he’s now seven- & doing very well. !!!
