Best Friends Pet Hotel Clinton Township, Michigan

My dog absolutely loves it here. They do everything from puppy prom, santa paws, pizza day, doggie daycare, boarding, training, etc. They are fantastic. And you can watch your fur baby have the time of their life with the energetic staff.

My husband and I appreciate all the care our kitty got while staying in your care. We felt comfortable leaving her over night while we went out of town. The staff was very friendly and fun.

Our 3 dogs were dropped off on August 6th, and picked up on August 12th-which was one day earlier than booked. When we arrived to pick up, there was a strong odor of urine-and the facility floors were dirty. When the dogs were brought out, they were covered in urine-and the manager let us know that the kennels that our dogs were placed in, “did not drain.” Once we got home, we had no choice but to immediately bathe all dogs-and noticed an alarming injury to one of the dogs (as pictured). I called the kennel to find out what happened, and find out when this happened-and why we were not notified of this. The manager let us know they never noticed the injury after a full week in their care-while this was located on our dogs face! This lets us know that our dogs were not looked after for the entire week they were in the kennel. After 20 years of sending our pets here, we will no longer be using this location and would not recommend anyone to set their pets to this facility!

I boarded our family dog for the 1st time and choose Best friends. I had his food separated into bags with meds mixed in so I knew if he was feed. He was there Sunday night (which I did feed him before drop off) until Tuesday morning and was he was only feed on monday his morning food and not feed again that day. I also asked for a bath and nails which they said they did and he was clearly not giving as he was greasy and smelled like urine and you could tell his nails were not trimmed. I am heartbroken that our dog which is a loved member of our family was treated so poorly. I will not go back or recommend them to anyone.

Fantastic grooming services. My dog Max has been here several times for a shampoo, shedicure, and nail trim and each time the service is first rate and consistent. Highly recommend the grooming services especially the shedicure for shedding control.

Always a great experience, friendly staff, fun activities, never a worry when I drop my dog off.

First time having our dog stay here while on vacation and we were very happy with the outcome. Our dog earned a free night because she was a new guest. We were able to add on a bath and nail trim while she was there as well. We loved that we could check in on her while away. We will definitely be bringing her back.

Had our dog groomed here. Very nice job with friendly service. We will use their service again.

A great place for my dog

We have been taking our dog here for awhile, Melissa is great and very accommodating!

1st Time took LuLu there for grooming.. Oh My what a great job they did!! She looked fantastic!!! It was quick and easy peasy. Pulled up, dropped LuLu off. They came outside to car, and took Her from the car (Bring their Leash). Got call when my Baby was all done and they brought her out to me. Effiecient, Friendly Service. Payment is credit card or cash. Cant tip from plastic card.

My best boy was at a different place for 4 years and it got sold and handles moved on and I was worried. I researched Best Friends and they seemed like a good fit. Cooper spent his first day and he was hooked. The care, cleanliness, cost and location and hours are all 5 star and when I found out that my vet sent people there for daycare and boarding, that sealed the deal! love this place! (so does Cooper)

Very great curbside service, awesome staff

Jake has been going to Best Friends for over a year now. We moved to Michigan because of my husbands job. I was concerned about finding a place for my fur baby to play and stay while we went away for weekends or on vacations. Best Friends was just the place I needed for Jake. He enjoys going for play days and for his "vacations" away from Mom and Dad. I enjoy have the cameras so that I can watch him play and interact with other dogs and the care givers. Jake has no problem going with anyone of them and not even looking back. I know he is well taken care of.

My dog is treated like a princess. The staff is amazing and the services are top notch!!

Wouldn't take my baby any where else for boarding, group play, and grooming!

Was very disappointed in the tin box for the price I was charged. I actually went out and bought a nice wood box that would have been worth the charge not a dollar store tin box.

Recently took my dog for groom. Fantastic job. He is a nervous dog in grooming situations. Was able to groom him and did an amazing groom on my Golden. The day camp is also a great service. My dog loves coming to camp and spend time with his canine friends

Best Friends has been a great place for us to leave our “best friend”. When we arrive they always greet Doc and they give him lots of love and attention. I love getting a picture of him while we are away! I highly recommend this kennel.

After a recommendation from a few friends, we used Best friends for grooming. We are beyond happy with the results! Debbie D. Did an amazing job with two Labradoodles that were extremely matted. We have found a new groomer!

Issues from my previous posting have all been resolved with great response from management I have always found in my 14 years utilizing this facility a 5 star kennel and outstanding staff and will continue to have my pup enjoy her playtime there.

The actual pet hotel is great and gets 5 stars on its own but my review is for the amazing groomer. I have a Samoyed that’s extra fluffy. She absolutely hates being combed. This year has been an extremely hard year for me because I’ve received bad news after bad news, things that affected my life majorly... which led to my dog not being combed daily as I usually do. She got into the river one day and was coved in mud and burs and I brushed out what I could, made an appoitment with a different groomer and then I dealt with some very unprofessional behavior at the grooming salon and decided not to let them work on my dog. I had been searching for a new groomer and only decided to get her groomed at best friends because it was the only way I could pick her up after 12 the day I got back from my trip. I wasn’t expecting them to do a good job just because I knew she would need a lot of work and wasn’t sure they were knowledgeable on her breed considering samoyeds aren’t a common dog in Michigan. I picked my dog up and put my fingers through her fur and was absolutely shocked that the groomer actually brushed out every single mat and my dogs fur was gorgeous. I almost started crying because i was so happy and the fact that no one there judged me or made me feel like a bad dog mom (which I was feeling very much since I’m normally on top of her coming and brushing). My dog didn’t have any hot spots, no scabs, she didn’t have choppy spots where it looked like there was a struggle (lol yes I have seen that before because dog grooming is hard work) right away my husband was like” wow a groomer who actually knows what she’s doing. “ great customer service like this is hard to find, and it honestly means more to me than They know after the events that have happened in my life the past few weeks... it’s more than just taking care of my dog, they made me feel good too. I’ll defiantly come back.
