If I could give Dr. Milam and her staff 100 stars I would. She is so kind and informative and her staff is so bubbly and sweet. Moved out this way about a year ago and my dog started having issues. Spent close to $800 in the city at his former vet with no results for said issues. Called Orion Oaks and they got him in the next day. He ended up needing a procedure under anesthesia which cost me less than $200 (I was shook at the low price) and his symptoms cleared up within a month. I have no problem getting my dog an appointment within a few days, if not that day, when he is having problems. He is a senior pup and we both love coming to this place!!

Too busy, not willing to deal with saving strays

I love this office! Being new to the area, with a defective rabbit and a puppy, I needed someplace that would not over charge for teeth trimming for the bunny, and all around general care for my chiweenie. This office struck gold! They are polite, professional, and you can tell they love their jobs.

Both my dogs love it here. Peyton will be 10 in September and she's NEVER been to a different vet. They remember my babies by name Everytime, and keep me informed and keep my babies healthy!!!!! 10/10 ????

This place is hands down the only place I will bring my dog from now on!! I had a terrible experience at Advanced pet care of Oakland county. I wanted to get my puppy neutered and was having such a hard time finding a place especially after APC refused to exam my dog because they claimed he was “aggressive” ( 8 months old??) however, the responsiveness and how easy it was to set up the appointment was so smooth and this being my first dog, they were so extremely helpful. My puppy is very unsure about new people and places and the ladies at the front took the time to make him comfortable which was a huge deal to me. This place knows how to handle animals and I 100% trust them completely!! They are AWESOME!!! And the doctor calls right after the procedure and keeps you super updated on how everything id going with your pet. Again this place is amazing!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!! :))

We began using Orion Oaks last year with our rescue. We were recommended by another rescue partner. We are so grateful for the recommendation! Orion Oaks has gone above and beyond with all the animals we have brought in. We are constantly amazed that they are always able to get us in fairly quickly. Dr. Milan is so patient, always answering all our questions. You can see that both Dr. Milan and her staff care deeply about the animals. I would highly recommend this animal clinic to all pet parents. And on top of all that, they have been very affordable. If I lived closer, I would use them for our personal pets. We needed to get our kittens looked at quickly and Orion Oaks got us in within a couple days. Great service. We scheduled our next appointment and will continue to use them moving forward.

I’m a foster for a breed specific rescue organization, and Orion Oaks is one of our partner vets. I am consistently amazed at how quickly they are able to get me in. They helped me out in an emergency situation once, too. Every foster has gotten the best possible care, and I highly recommend them.

After thousands of dollars I spent on my kitten. Two different eye removal surgery’s. Multiple visits. NOT ONCE DID THEY THINK TO RUN BLOODWORK. After making my cat suffer through two serious life changing surgery’s. They constantly ignored my concerns about his bloated stomach. “He’s just fat”. I took my cat to a reliable animal clinic in Berkley. They instantly knew something serious was wrong. My kitten had an enlarged liver, enlarged heart, fluids in his abdomen and chest. This incompetent staff ignored my concerns and gladly took my money and made my baby suffer and loose both his eyes. I ended up having to put my baby down just 7 months after rescuing him from the shelter. Dr. Milam needs to lose her license. No other animal clinic in the state would ever perform those surgery’s and ignore my concerns without running a simple in house blood sample. All they care about is taking your money.

I adopted a pup through CCRC & picked up Joe after his surgery the 1st day. I went back a week later for his check up. They are very caring with all animals and are doing everything to keep their practice safe from Covid-19. Give them a try!

I began using OOAH last year, for the dog of a relative: first, for treatment of his eye, which was injured, then its removal), then grooming and general care, including dentistry. They are very professional and friendly and, compared to my own dogs' vets, have reasonable prices, even without a pet plan. Once our dogs' plans run out, at the other clinic, we will be taking them to OOAH.
