I can't say enough nice things about Dr. Christine. She made a house call for our pet cockatiel, Zippy. I was so relieved to find an avian vet that visited houses due to our bird's severe anxiety visiting any clinic. Dr. Christine was so patient, listened to all of our concerns, and made our feathered friend feel so much better. We are so grateful for her prompt communication and excellent treatment and care. Thank you so much!!!

The vet is very nice and helpful. She's the reason why I come back to the clinic. Her staff is very rude. Every time I interact with the lady in the front desk, I question why I come to the clinic. She is emotionless and harsh. I have yet to have an interaction with her that shows an ounce of kindness or sympathy. She is not willing to be helpful in the least

First time there..the lady at the desk was an absolute rude B* and so was the other staff member. Such miserable people! Dr. Christine Scott was an absolute gem who took such excellent care of my Munchkin kitty! If I were to return, it would be for the doctor only, I highly recommend her!

The trauma of having to say goodbye to your pet companion is indescribably hard. We've had to use the in home euthanasia and this is how we've met Dr. Scott. Dr. Scott is such a gentle and compassionate soul who makes this experience a little easier. It still hurts, but knowing that she is responsive to your request and so kind and soft spoken helps validate this decision. She honored the life of our companion by easing us all into the farewell. This place is amazing! Dr. Christine is so kind and caring. My puppy had an allergic reaction to a shot and she went above and beyond caring for my baby. She even called me after hours to follow up and saw us again after they closed to ensure she was ok. She truly loves her patients and treats them like her family. So rare to find such an amazing and caring doctor! Forever client!!

We have used BVC for over 20 years for all of our fur babies. Dr. Christine and all of her staff have always been kind, professional and compassionate in every situation we presented to them (puppies, bunnies etc.). We would highly recommend them for all of your pet needs. No matter what the circumstances she & her team have always met us with a smile.

Dr. Christine came to our home last night to help the transition of euthanizing our Lab. I was so overwhelmed at her kindness- gentleness with our beloved fur baby. She explained the entire procedure and made sure our girl was totally pain free. She gave us the time to grieve and was so patient with me and my family. We even received a paw print for remembrance. Thank you Dr. Christine you are definitely and angel and we will use you with our second dog and will highly recommend you.

Dr. Christine helped our dog to peacefully cross the rainbow bridge with her at-home service. I have never met such a gentle, compassionate, patient and empathetic veterinarian in my entire life. The love she showed to us and our dog was absolutely astounding. We were so blessed that she helped us through this heartbreaking experience, she is absolutely in the perfect profession.

Our family is so thankful and grateful that it was Dr. Christine who helped Lucy to cross the ???? bridge - hands down the most sympathetic, caring, patient Dr we have ever had and genuinely helpful to us having to let Lucy go... we will be bringing all our furbabies to her from now on for all their on-going wellness too. Dr.Scott is one of the sweetest people ever. I take my exotic bird here (conure) and the visit is worth the drive and price. The staff is very nice too. I recommend giving them a call for the earliest appointment you need compared to other locations.

Love, love, love Dr Christine. I have brought my amazon parrot to her for well over twenty years and she handles him so tenderly and speaks so sweetly to keep Kelly calm while she does all sorts of unspeakable things to him. I actually quit a vet that was the head aviary vet for the D zoo because he was just so cold and matter of fact while handling Kelly to come to this practice. Have NEVER been disappointed in treatment at BVC. However, I have called three times in the past month with some challenges that Kelly experienced lately and have had the misfortune to experience the not stellar customer service from employee Roy. I know his name because I found him on the website after he hung up on me, twice, when I asked to whom I was speaking. I had explained that I was very close by and I was having a potential life threatening emergency and was told that they were fully booked until after mid April and I should turn around and go 45 minutes in the other direction to some place the other side of Rochester. I drove by in a couple minutes to find an empty parking lot! As I have had a three generation relationship with the Royal Tropical family, I called them for help. They say that this is the 3rd time they have heard about this type of treatment for the BVC client base just recently. They have referred to this clinic for decades and hope to reach out to Dr Christine to find out what has changed. That would be an unfortunate loss of representation. Perhaps Roy could use some retraining of public relations.

Dr. Christine came to my house for in-home euthanasia of my beloved dog, Rosie. I'd never been to her clinic before, but I knew that my queen needed to have a pleasant experience in her final moments. I cannot say enough how Dr. Christine made that horrible day so much nicer by offering her wonderful service. We had ample time with Rosie and the experience was not at all rushed. Rosie was comfortable throughout and knew that her family was with her, which was the most important thing for all of us. Dr. Christine also handled the aftercare necessary and did everything with such compassion. While she didn't know me or my dog, I felt she truly cared and understood how much we loved her. She even prepared a paw print free of charge afterwards. I am so happy I found her and plan to use her in the future for basic veterinarian care when I have a dog again. She has such a gentle demeanor and so much compassion that I would recommend her to any dog owner and especially to dog owners with special-needs dogs like mine. Thank you tremendously, Dr. Christine!

I reached out to Dr Scott for an in home euthanisation, she was wonderful and very accommodating. She explained the entire process, and took our beloved dog's body to the crematorium. I was able to set up the whole process over the phone. I would absolutely ask her to perform this service again.

I have been taking my budgies(parakeets) there for years. Dr. Scott is the best for birds and recommended by Royal Tropical Bird and Fish Haven. Such caring people there!

Dr. Christine is a passionate, caring, and devoted veterinarian. While my wife and I only had a somber and short interaction during an at-home appointment for our dogs passing, it was extremely apparent that her calling is to care for animals. We had our dog Harper for 15 years and I cycled what that day would like in my head for years prior. I couldn't have asked for a calmer, heartfelt experience where she explained what was happening, recognized and considered our pain, and made the whole ordeal as appropriate as it could be. The additional paw print in clay will be cherished by us for the rest of our time and the sincere follow-up was nothing less than astounding. Thank you so much for bringing so much unabashed care and consideration in our time of grief. If we lived closer our dogs would be lifetime patients and I couldn't give her a greater recommendation. Do consider this clinic for routine care, as well as for those difficult times.

Dr. Scott recently came to our home for a very difficult visit; we had to put our childhood dog to sleep. While the visit was emotional, she made every step clear, gave us time, and treated our girl exactly as we would’ve; handling her with care, dignity and respect. She couldn’t have given us a greater gift, and made an otherwise awful event reflective and peaceful. I can’t recommend her & her staff enough. Receiving her ashes less than 24 hours later, by a staff member, brought us so much closure. My family wanted to offer a wholehearted thank you for the difficult work that you do.

I took my dog there for the first time and I was blown away by the level of care and detail that was given to my baby. It is sad but I was starting to think that kind of care didn’t exist any more. I was very pleased with the office and staff and I am happy to have found a great partner in the care of my dog! I happy to say we will be going there from now on.

Dr. Scott came to our home for the peaceful passing of our sweet doggy, Rocko. She responded quickly to my phone call and was able to come to our home the next day. We have so much gratitude for the compassion and professionalism that Dr Scott had during this difficult time. She was able to turn a heartbreaking situation into a calming and peaceful experience.

Dr. Christine came to our home to end the suffering of our dear sweet cat Ernie. Her response to my phone call was excellent and so was her availability. She arrived early at my request, came right down on the carpet where he was and spoke softly to him, petting him. The entire process was respectful and calm. She said she knew she wanted to be a vet when she was 4 years old. I believe it! Thank God for people like Dr. Christine.
