My pup and I absolutely trust Westgate Animal Clinic. Both the veterinarian and the reception are so lovely, warm, and safe. Leo is in wonderful hands when he is there and they will be his veterinarian service for life!

I waited for 20 minutes for staff to come out to ask for some simple supplies. She did not apologize for making me wait and was argumentative about asking the vet if she would sell me these simple supplies. Rude is an understatement. Uncooperative could not be more on point and I would not recommend this office based on how I was treated after explaining I was here from out of town for a serious medical procedure. No way. I used to say Michigan residents were so nice and kind. I am changing my mind on this trip.

Westgate Animal Clinic has been a great place for my dog; Dr. Moehlman and Christine have been supportive, helpful and professional with us. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for veterinary services.

Dr. Moehlman and Kristina are wonderful, caring, and professional. We just moved back to Ann Arbor in 2020 from Chicago and needed to find a vet for our dog. Westgate Animal Clinic was close to home, so I gave them a shot and am very happy that I did. Dr. Moehlman was very thorough in her first examination of Watson and really demonstrated a deep knowledge of companion animal care. (Plus, he enjoyed all of the attention, praise, and pets he received!) Kristina has been very flexible with me-- a few times, I had to call and say I would be late for our appointment or even reschedule at the last minute due to work emergencies, and she was always very kind and accommodating. The prices are very affordable for the high quality of care received. Thanks very much, WAC!

First of all, the receptionist Kristen or Krista (not entirely sure since she was talking so low) was incredibly cold, rude, and very unhelpful! This is certainly not the person you want is the first point of contact when making an appointment for your fur child. I was told they are NOT accepting new patients right now... As a healthcare professional, I know firsthand how difficult this global pandemic has been and I understand wanting to be cautious and safe. Though, if a business is taking proper COVID-19 safety precautions with EVERY patient that enters the building then it should not matter if they are new or current patients. Also, the receptionist did not even ask if we had been to Westgate Clinic before, because she gave a chance to explain I would have told her we as a family has brought our dogs to Westgate for years, but we just got a new puppy. The whole interaction left a sour taste in my mouth! Luckily, I called Compassionate Care Animal Hospital and scheduled an appointment with no problems!!

Amazing service; Dr. Moehlman doesn’t try to push anything on you and is very honest about what my pet really needed ! They got me in the same day I called for an appointment. Highly recommend- though I moved across AA, I will make the drive to see her!

Great place and compassionate care

I highly recommend Westgate Animal Clinic! My family has been taking our various cats here for many many years, and we’ve always had a great experience. Dr. Moehlman is very kind and professional, and so incredibly sweet to her patients. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always very helpful.

This animal clinic is amazing. The staff and vet really care about your pet/s. Being a first time dog owner, they were always patient and caring the 20x it felt like I called, during the first month, with nervous pet owner questions. Cost is extremely fair and worth it for the service they provide!

Westgate animal clinic is always friendly and generous. They are careful about safety and kind to me and my dog. They go out of their way to make sure clients have everything they need. I highly recommend them.

My dog "likes" going to the vet. In all seriousness, they provide excellent care, reasonable fees and genuinely like their patients.

Dr. Moehlman is so caring and nice and so are all the staff members. They take great care of both of my dogs and always call to see how the dogs are doing after their vet appointments. Personally, I prefer a small clinic where everyone knows my dogs’ names and where I really get to know my vet. At this clinic, you get the personal touch.

So incredibly thorough and thoughtful! Listen to everything you say, think through options with you and advise you of the best course. Kind and friendly! Doctor and staff are the best around, anywhere!

Never even sent a card or called when my dog passed away.

Incredible care for our 10 year-old puppy. Dr. Moehlman is compassionate and very caring. She educates and offers options. Her rates are extremely fair and her staff are wonderful. Would not change a thing about this clinic - we LOVE this place!!!

I just tried to make an appointment. It was a strange experience. I had to speak with a second receptionist after spending 10 minutes on the phone with the first. She was extremely rude. Like raised her voice rude. Nope.

I've never gone here for anything good but, when my Bandit was in his final days, they were very helpful and comforting!

They treat your pet as if it was theirs!

Excellent experience as a first time cat owner! The vet, Dr.Moehlman, and her staff were all very professional and helpful. They took time to educate me on the care of a wild cat that we've "adopted" and who lives in our woods. They were also sensitive to the emotional needs of our very skittish kitty, and soothed her during the exam and vaccinations. Will definitely return in the future!

These are the most friendly and wonderful people I have ever worked with for our dog. They call back even when it's something small just to make sure your pet is doing ok.

Dr Moehlman and her staff are all SO WONDERFUL! Coming from a medical background she even explains everything in a way that a non-medical professional would understand! She has truly impressed me with her bedside rapport and her knowledge. Highly recommend her! Love her staff - they always treat us very well and always check in to make sure our pup is doing well! We’re so glad we found them.

The staff greet our pets by name when we walk in, they treat our pets as if they were their own pets as they're providing care and are helpful and friendly!

We have been taking our cats here for years. Dr. Moehlman and her staff are wonderful. They are thorough, knowledgable, and go above and beyond to take good care of the cats. They are kind, and you can tell they really care about the animals. We highly recommend this office!

Professional, curtious, friendly, and just plain nice people that take care of, and love your pets! While costly, (what veterinarian hospital is not?) This place is well worth the money. If your pet is part of your family, don't they deserve to be taken care of like family? I say yes, and this is one of the places that will do just that!

My first visit there was one of the worst for a pet owner. We were dealing end of life issues for my dearest kitty. The Vet was awesome in both their support and care for the cat as well as for us.

I've been taking my cats here for years. Everyone is great--from the vet to the techs and people up front.Great care and excellent at explaining everything. They are part of my family and I wouldn't go anywhere else!

This is the best vet I've ever known. They take an analytical approach to diagnosis. I fully believe they saved my dogs life and the prices are very reasonable. I recommend this one all day. They actually care too.
