Southpointe Veterinary Hospital Allen Park, Michigan

I cant say enough good things about southpointe. The staff was very professional and empathetic to our situation. They helped with the passing of our 18 year old chow. Though it was one of the hardest things we have ever done the staff at southpointe made us feel welcomed and at home. I cannot thank them enough.

I tried a few local vets before settling there. The front desk staff is always kind and helpful, and the vets here are very professional and listen to your concerns. I recommend Southpoint to anyone looking for a vet.

Listen, in March 2020 not allowing folks into your lobby was reasonable, made sense and was a logical precaution. It’s November 2021 as I type this. The vaccine is available to everyone and is widely accepted as effective. Every other establishment is wide open - they have football games with full crowds. WHY on earth does this vet refuse to allow people into the lobby?? We are left to rot in the parking lot, with no updates and constantly extended wait times. Very suspicious that I can freely enter hospitals now but I can’t enter the vet? At what point will it end? News flash, the vax are the last step. Nothing will change from here on out… so we are simply just never going to be allowed back inside the lobby?

I've been going to this vet for 20 years and feel like it's not as personable as it used to be. I know they have always been more costly and I used to feel the staff made up for it. However, I have asked around with friends on recommendations as the biggest thing keeping there now is how close it is to my house.

Every person working here is friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and truly cares about pets *and* their owners. Outstanding vets who will take the time to answer questions, and make sure everything is explained. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

They are an amazing. My Kitty had a puncture to her face and it was infected. They treated my cat as if she was their own. My cat is fully recovered.

I love my cat. I'd do anything for him and take absolutely any measure to ensure a long and happy life for him. By taking him to Southpointe I am confident that I'm making the right choice for his continued wellbeing. From the owner (who recently did his examination herself and took the time to give me valuable advice on his nutrition) right to the rest of the facilities staff, everyone I've ever dealt with there has been kind, understanding, professional, empathetic, and considerate in how they treated both my lil guy and myself. They are knowledgeable and patiently indulged my near endless questions about nutrition, health and preventative measures to insure his continued health. They just did his neutering and microchiping and I couldnt have asked for a better experience. On their website they have an online portal avalible as well where you can see treatment history of your fur baby. Simply put taking him there has been THE best decision I have made for my lil guy thus far.

Very good with the dog and cat. Very friendly. I believe they are good doctors. Going here for years. 4 dogs and 3 cats. Good experience.

This vet is the BESTTTTT place you can take your animal just want to keep it short & sweet, me & Luna appreciate everything things you guys do!

They took my rabbit and when no one else would because healthy that is that put too much revolution medication on my rabbit And overdose Him the vet here here took him in and try to flush out the toxins his accents she was so compassionate She kept him alive and tried to do her best but since the medication was introduced through the skin and not through the stomach there's not much she could do At the end of the day he wasn't making enough progress to send him to Ann Arbor Veterinarian hospital and when the vet put him to sleep she His head tears in her eyes because she had such high hopes for him never bring your animals to healthy animal is animal veterinarian on veterinarian On allen road in Allen Park this vet is the only vet I will use from now on I've seen the care in her eyes

Great Dr’s and staff. They are very caring for wellness visits or when your pet is ill. They take the time to address any concerns you may have and will run the necessary tests. I’m so glad that I found Southpointe. Thank you for all that you do to help people and pets!

Our girl went to them twice and we also had to have our baby girl put down and they were so sweet and gentle with our baby and treated us so nice. Totally recommend them for all your veterinarian services

I can’t say enough good things about everyone at Southpointe veterinary hospital. I’ve been taking my 3 dogs there for many years and have always been very happy with the care and professionalism from the doctors and staff. My oldest dog Brodie is almost 15 years old so he’s had a few medical problems over the years, some very serious and is doing great due to the thorough care he has received. When it comes to your animals you should expect the highest level of care I wouldn’t go anywhere else but Southpointe!

The best Vet Clinic I have ever been to. The Veterinarians are very knowledgeable, the whole staff is extremely helpful, kind and welcoming. The Clinic is very clean and organized. This place is #1 in my book. I highly recommend bringing your fur babies here.

I’ve been meaning to write this review for Southpointe veterinary hospital for a while and finally got round to it after another great experience. Firstly I really appreciate the COVID-19 protocols they have in place. As much as I would like to take my animal into the clinic I understand the needs for drop off to ensure the safety of both myself and the staff there. I feel at ease knowing they take great care of my dogs while I wait. They then provide a detailed explanation of their findings after the appointment. The staff are some of the most friendly I’ve experienced at any doctors office human or animal! Lastly I find the prices appropriate for quality of care and attention to detail my dogs receive.
