Not impressed at all. The prices are high and the store looked like a discount outlet.

they were wonderful in correcting a missed can in a 6 can package that I ordered ... they were great about at and even delivered it to me.

The Danvers/Peabody store is a larger store with excellent customer service.

I was picking out some food toppers to entice my dog to eat when she goes on her usual hunger strike while my wife and I are away when an associate Peter approached me (unprompted) and asked me if I was considering using Toppers. When I replied that I give them to her once in awhile, he proceeded to tell me that how I was feeding my dog was “wrong” and that I was teaching her bad habits. I am honestly speechless. 1. I did not even ask for assistance - he saw me picking them out and went out of his way to strike a conversation 2. How I care for my dog is absolutely none of his business. I told him that he was incredibly rude and had no right to talk to ANYONE like that. When I brought it to the attention of the cashier, she was not shy about divulging the fact that he is known for doing things like that to other customers. I’m still just completely speechless that someone thinks it’s okay to talk to people that way. I understand your company is about teaching pet owners about the best products, but Something tells me that being condescending while doing so WASNT part of the training.

Unfortunately they no longer vary feline Diet Science, which I have to order online. They still have teeth brushing treats, though.

I needed to purchase a harness for my dog. I found one, but was disappointed that there wasn't much of a selection. I did better online before for my other dog.

Its convenient and I like seeing peoples animals in the store! Friendly staff also!

This is a pretty big Petco, good selection and well organized. I like this one, I'm so glad it's not a PetSmart anymore.

When i took him in 2019 i paid for a bath and nail trim. The service and the customer service was OUTSTANDING. Not anymore. :( Today i took him for a buzz down. They don't give cats bath anymore. I ended up paying $80.00 for something that looked like I could've done it myself. The only style they do for cats is the lion look. I didn't know, they didn't tell me. Not only was uneven and patchy. They didn't clean under his paws and they didn't brush him down when they were done. I called to talk to them and the only explanation they offer was, "we don't do that". The ONLY reason i am giving them 3 stars is because of the manager, Orlando. I took videos and pictures of the cat and went to the store to talk to him. After he patiently listened and looked at the horrible job the groomers did he kindly offered to reimburse half of what i paid. The overall service of the store and the vet services are great. The store it's always clean and fully stocked.

I love Petsmart but they seriously lack ferret stuff & ferrets in general ! So I gotta go to Petco ! I've gotten a few slinkies here & I love them , they come with me to shop ! Staff is always super friendly & caring!

Petco was not able to groom my dog. I have a large dog who is very sensitive. They groomed him previously.

I got everything i needed and more without any issues or hassles

Grooming staff are rude and need lessons on how to provide good customer service! We brought our dog in to have his nails trimmed, two of the staff looked at me and didn’t acknowledge the fact that I was even there! Finally got service with an attitude! If this is how they treat me as a customer I would be concerned about how my dog would be treated in my absence. We will be going to Pet Smart from now on for better service!

i know everyone says to adopt a rescue and i tend to generally agree but i got 3 of my 5 ferrets from petco and honestly i couldnt be happier with them

Rude and inconsiderate store associates, with a store in Hudson MA being the worst. These days I take all my business to Petsmart.

needed to buy a crate for a small dog. asked employee where small dog crates were, they led me to them. purchased crate for small dog and went on my way. store is clean, organized, and pretty well stocked.

I love Janelle in the Pet Grooming Salon. She is excellent and you are very lucky to have her!! She is truly the very best!!

Every thing was perfect !

I love this store. It's close by, the staff are helpful and friendly and my anxious dog is actually starting to like going in. It's becoming familiar to her. Also the Peabody groomers address better than any other Petco on the north shore.
