Fantastic experience adopting our new kitten, Fernando!

One of the best shelters I have had the pleasure of working with. Caring, and compassionate with animals and people too! Knowledgeable staff that gives 100% , is very helpful, and always kind !

Vet techs and everyone else there extremely nice, let us see available cats/kittens/Guinea pigs. Only problem is rude Karen at front desk that gave us so much attitude when asking for certain kittens. Looked at us like we were speaking a completely different language and answered with flippant responses. I believe that the people at the front desk should be just as welcoming as the rest of the staff; she ruined the whole experience for us.

This shelter is awesome. They are very clean they take very good care of the animals and also they make sure these furry friends get a great home

Horrible staff. Inattentive and rude. we went to look at the cats there, when we walked in nobody greeted us or even acknowledge us. We went to the cat room and where there for at least 20 minutes and nobody came by to check on us. When we left nobody was in the lobby to see us leave. This feels like a VERY unsafe environment for these animals. With nobody there to watch people interacting with these animals somebody could easily just walk out with one. It’s very sad the lack of care these employees have. I will not be going back.

Love this shelter. I’ve been looking for months and finally found this place and got my perfect kitten Nikita???? Previously Concetta. So excited for my new baby and the process was so easy they were really on the go! I applied for and got my baby 2 days later. Every other shelter took weeks just to even look at my application!! I can tell they try really hard to make sure animals get into good homes. I would recommend this place to anybody who is in need of a new little love ❣️

Did research for 2 months and couldn't find any better shelter in the area. Staff incredibly compassionate and professional. Totally trusted that my 2 kittens had the best care prior to adoption. Highly recommend!

Got my new baby Boomer(aka Giovanni) yesterday. Staff there was so terrific! My pup was well taken care of. They even gave him a nice bath before I picked him up. I would definitely go there to adopt any future pets. Thank you!

barely open, do not recommend

Horrible, heartbreaking experience with my sick animal adopted from this place. Some of the staff are very rude and insensitive. Far from "humane", I do not recommend this shelter.

Absolutely horrible establishment. Inquired about a dog. I then filled out an application and was told there was one family ahead of me and if they couldnt take him they would call us. 3 hours later they called us telling us everything was good and we needed to bring our children and the required paper work for adoption and set an appointment to meet for 12:30. (opening time) This, mind you, is at 4:30. Closing time is 5pm. Excitedly we tell our children and go out to buy him toys treats and leashes. We pulled both of our children out of school and rush to the shelter to bring what we needed and have our scheduled meeting. We walked in and they tell us someone is looking at the dog. Confused we sit for 15 minutes, only to be told that even though we had got the go ahead the other family wanted him. With absolutley no apology to my confused and weeping children. The incredibly rude woman at the front desk with a condescending grin told my children that "that's how adoption works and if we dont like it adopt somewhere else". This organization and its staff are completely incompetent and exemplify the term unprofessional. Nowhere in the half an hours time between the phone call i received to closing which is only a half an hour did these people feel they should call me back and explain the situation so my children didn't get their hearts broken? Will be going through whatever avenue necessary to speak to the highest possible person about this. Disgusting and needs rectification immediately.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience adopting our kitten. The staff was so easy to deal with and the adoption process went very smoothly. So happy to bring home the new addition to our family

Have had my little guy Oliver for a year now. It took about two months on wait list to be able to to get a small dog though well worth the wait and paperwork. It is expensive as many are shipped up from the south and go through quarantines etc to guarantee they are healthy and small dogs are a wait anywhere in MA. $550 adoption fee though had all his shots etc (those annual shots are expensive with a vet otherwise anyway so overall the price works out). I had been told Oliver was not housebroken as per foster though it only took me three weeks and some google research to set him right from what must have been adjustment fears etc so if you have the time and patience don’t be afraid to get one that may have a little issue. I would give five stars for the kind staff, I got lots of time to meet him in a little side room and really feel out his personality and the facilities are nice, only concern is the cost is prohibitive to many wonderful potential dog parents.. it was a big impact on my budget though don’t regret it for a moment.

They held my nephew Benjamin whom ia deaf and a pit, they are great people with big hearts.
