Went inside for cat food and crickets... Asked about getting several crickets...looked to my right and there was a dead chameleon..and another chameleon that was emaciated and frothing at mouth. The animals are poorly cared for and that was heartbreaking. They looked like they had not been cared for in several days and the crickets that were in there where huge that a baby couldn't eat them...horrible.....

Place is gross smells really bad inside. Extremely dirty. Im glad my first time here i didnt bring my dog. Franklin is way better. Unfortunately i have to put a star.

Michelle is a terrible worker I don’t know why she is employed at this place. Allowing a woman like this to work around dogs? Beware of Michelle!

wonderful store! They certainly have an abundant supply of products. Decent prices, great return policy {we have a very finicky new pup}, they offer a discount on some items, just for signing up for their free store card. I got $8.00 off a large bag of Redford food, plus they send coupons via email. The staff are very pleasant and helpful.

My first time there as a customer I was impressed. I had set up a new aquarium and after letting it run for 2 weeks I went there to purchase tropical fish. I purchased a total of seven fish.... In less than three days four out of the seven died . I had my receipt but I didn't have the dead fish. Nowhere on the receipt and nowhere in the store that a sales associate tell me if I lose any fish I need to bring the dead fish in to get a full refund or exchange I called the store and explained what happened and the young girl who answered said to me no problem as long as you have your receipt. I also asked her if I bring a sample of my watering if they could test it to make sure nothing was wrong. Her exact words were all we don't do that here you should go to Petco. I waited one more day before I went because one more of the fish did not look like he was going to make it and he didn't and that's what brought the total to four dead out of seven. When I got to the store a manager from another store was covering. She told me they absolutely cannot refund my money or give me exchange fish without bringing the dead fish in. I explained to her I called the previous day and that's not what I was told. Plus as it turns out they do test aquarium water there. So here my problem with this store: 1) totally untrained store associates who know nothing about what they're doing 2) even though I did not have the actual dead fish because I was instructed that I didn't need them by a store associate that manager should have appeased me especially where I was a brand new customer to the store, but she did not 3) the day that I went in there which was yesterday June 3rd, the manager that was covering the store did tell me that I need the dead fish but she did not tell me she would not refund my money or give me replacement fish until I left the store did some shopping at a store next door and came back...... She would not even consider the fact that it was a brand new customer and that I was told by a Pet Supplies store associate the previous day that I did not need the fish as long as I had the receipt which I did. So it is because of this that they lost a customer for life! I will never go back into that store and if anybody asked me my experience I'll tell him just like I stated here....apparently the Pet Supplies acting store manager doesn't see a problem with losing a potential customer for life and me switching to their competitor Petco. Therefore because I am totally unhappy and now out a total of $17.58 for the dead fish I would never recommend the store to anyone!

I visited the store today with my husband Phill at 4pm, we were greeted and helped by Joe who looked like the manager and acted like it as well in the cat aisle. Very professional and super sweet. I wanted to try a cat food from one of my programs but couldn’t seem to find it and that’s when Joe came over and asked if we neeeded help. I told him about it and he said they didn’t carry it but he recommended RedFord instead and he said his older cat eats that too and is doing well on it. A fine young gentleman. The boy who rung us out was a doll as well. Get these young men a raise! The store was very neat too and had so many items to choose from. I would still be there looking at everything if I didn’t get help. I think that’s everything I can say about this store and the gentleman that helped me, Joe and the cashier boy. Thank you for your help!

I bought a fish tank here and the heater didn’t work, and I brought it back to the store to return It and they offered me a 25% discount of a new one, like it doesn’t work I bought it from your store....

We love this store. We are new pet owners and found the staff that work here very pleasant and always helpful. Out pets love going there for their baths and to pick out a new toy or treat. We would recommend this place to anyone that has a pet.

Very nice employees. However, since it's a smaller store, the selection is more limited. But they usually have most things I need.

Plenty for dogs and cats. Wasn't impressed with their stock for small animals, i.e., rabbits, etc. That seems to be a problem everywhere lately though.
