Mark did an excellent job pet sitting for 2 dogs, a cat, and fish while we went away. I never used a pet sitter before and Mark came highly recommended. Once I met Mark, the animals were immediately at ease around him. He sent lots of pictures, and I didn't worry at all while I was away for 2 weeks because we knew the animals were being so well cared for. He stayed over with them which provided extra comfort that the animals were not alone and the house was also being cared for. When we came home the animals greeted us and looked behind us like Mark would be coming in as well! I will definitely be calling Mark again for his services.

Mark was wonderful with our cats! Our grouchy old man cat and our crazy younger cat both embraced him immediately, which does NOT usually happen with new people. I felt much better knowing that he was going to be taking care of them while we were gone.

Mark took excellent care of our cat's! My husband and I have recently moved to Massachusetts. We needed to find someone to watch our girl's while we went out of town. It was the first time we have ever them for an extended amount of time. Mark was very attentive to our concerns. One of our cats has asthma so she requires a inhaler. He was able to give Athena her inhaler without any issues. He took the time to just hangout so the cats would get accustomed to him. One of the cat's is very afraid of strangers. She doesn't like anyone except my husband and I. By the 3rd visit she finally came out of hiding and ate while he was still there, instead of waiting after he left. Mark goes above and beyond! I didn't program the pet feeders correctly. I missed one of the scheduled feeding times. I asked Mark if he could program an additional feed. Not only did he reprogram the feeders, he came over to make sure they went off as scheduled at no additional charge! Wow! He took out our trash and recycling on trash day. He sent daily pictures and updates. It's so obvious that he truly cares about our girl's. He is a true professional and great to work with. We will definitely use him in the future and we've recommended him to anyone who needs a pet sitter.

Mark came into our lives through a recommendation from a Vet Tech who knew that we needed someone to administer twice-daily transdermal medication to one of our cats while we were away on trips. When we first met with Mark, I was immediately confident that he was a professional because of his great references, the fact that he is bonded/insured, and so thorough that he inquired about our preferences including who he could reach out to if we had an emergency while we were away and did not return home. But most importantly, Mark emanates a calm warmth to which our cats respond (which is exactly what we need since our previous provider chased our cat around to administer the medication…). Not only does Mark care for our two cats as part of his visit, he puts out food/water for the homeless cats who pass through our yard - one of whom has taken to patiently waiting for him! As additional side benefits, Mark also takes in our packages/ mail/ newspapers to ensure our home doesn’t appear to be unoccupied. Getting a text and photo from Mark that everything is going well while we are away is wonderful. You will see he has a wonderful sense of humor as evidenced by the photos! When I once inadvertently double locked the side door from inside, Mark contacted us and calmly worked with us on a solution so that we didn’t need to return early. We rest easy while we are away. My husband and I are so happy that we found Mark three years ago. He has taken care of our dog since he was 9 weeks old. We consider our dog family and that's exactly how Mark and his team treat him. For the first year, we wanted multiple daily visits, and Mark was extremely flexible and worked with us to come up with a schedule that worked for us. Our dog was also very ill for a period of time and Mark and Deb would send us multiple texts per day updating us on how he was doing. Mark and Deb are both very considerate and respectful. Honestly, I wouldn't trust anyone else with our boy! We know that he loves them too just by the way his tail wags when he sees them!

Excellent service, Mark takes pride in everything he does. We went on vacation and he came twice a day, gave Charlie his insulin, fed him, cleaned litter, took in mail, trash, played with Charlie and sent us cute photos and messages to let us know how he was doing. Mark did a great job cat sitting for our 16 year old cat Simba. He is usually very unhappy when we come home from vacation, but with Mark's wonderful care, we came home to a happy boy!

When I first suggested that we get a professional cat sitter during our week long vacation, my husband was skeptical. What kind of person is a professional cat sitter anyway? How do we know they aren't some weirdo? These questions were quickly answered during our initial visit with Mark. He was very professional and went over exactly what his role would be, and assured us that our home and our floof would be safe in his care. Clearly, the kind of person who becomes a professional cat sitter, is simply the kind of person who really likes cats....and what is more normal than that?? During our week long vacation, Mark gave our cat his daily dose of wet food & litter box cleaning in addition to much needed attention and treats. We received daily updates on how things were going. He took our trash cans inside when needed, and replaced the batteries in the CO detector when it started beeping incessantly. I think he may have even cleaned our microwave? Or maybe it was magical elves.... Anyway, on our return, our cat definitely seemed less anxious and annoyed at us than on prior trips and I attribute that to the care given to him by Mark. Bottom line- we highly recommend Rocket Boy for all your cat sitting needs!

I emailed Mark last minute to check in on my cats while I would be away for a few days. Mark fit in a meet and greet within a day. He was thorough and polite. He sent me photo or video updates every day. I think the cats got better treatment than they would have with me home! He left a nice note with a summary of his visits for me when I got home. It was refreshing that he invoiced me after the job was done. He easily could have requested the money up front and never showed up.
