I can't, in good faith, recommend this place. I've been taking my dog here for years, and while there have been some prior issues I let them slide. The most recent visit, however, has me looking for a new vet. I recently took my dog in for some dental work. Richard Newman quickly did an examination, gave my dog a pill and was ready to move on. He did not seem interested in explaining anything. To the credit of this place they were able to get my dog in for surgery the following day. The following day we met with Foster Palmer, who was much more communicative and took the time to answer my questions. After surgery my dog was released to me with an IV lead still in his leg. That's some sloppy work. The paperwork I received back made no mention of the expected bloodwork results. Nor did anyone get in touch with me to discuss the surgery and the next steps.

Requested an appointment online. Received an e-mail stating they received the request. A few days later I got an e-mail telling me my appointment was SCHEDULED. Showed up to said appointment and was greeted by 2 very hostile front desk workers who said that my appointment wasn't valid because I booked it online (?) despite getting an e-mail confirming the appointment. The 2 women working the office were SO RUDE about it. They wouldn't even help me reschedule an appointment for another time. Terrible service, jaded employees. It makes me wonder how they treat animals when no one is watching. Probably dodged a bullet on this one.

Dr. Alfano and Dr. Palmer and all the vet techs are caring and compassionate people. They take time with you and your pets and answer all your questions and address concerns. We have been taking all our animals there for 30 years and would not go anywhere else!

my friends dogs need a nail trim and vacines due to covid money is tight thankfully a local organization Friends of Falmouth Dogs have vouchers that assist in paying for needed care . Deer Run Accepts the program vouchers. my dogs are now up to date on vacancies and nails got trimed. it only took about 30 min to complete the trip from arival to departure to home. vesrry well set up for covid i was impressed !

everyone was very nice and caring. It was hard to hear the doctor over the phone as he examined my pets via phone speaker. But he was so nice! hopefully in the future there can be a better way to receive his voice.. Thank you! i would recommend

My usual vet was unable to give my Ella her needed shots. Deer Run was able to fit her in. The cost was less than my usual vet and the vet gave me excellent advise to help my dog with her allergies. I was very impressed. Excellent care, great staff❤

Deer Run Veterinary Was a GREAT this was my first experience working with a Veterinarian Dr. Palmer he explained every thing in a way I could understand it. My dog is a rescue dog so I had many questions. The staff was also very very helpful and took to answer more questions that you forget with the doctor even going back to him to check with on a question I forgot to ask. There's not enough STAR'S For DEER RUN VETERINARY!!!!

You won’t find a better local vet. Dr. Alfano and Dr. Palmer stay up on latest information but keep the caring and small town vet feel while remaining current with best practices. And they truly care about the community and give back many times over. We are lucky to have this combination and their A Team staff!

Just moved to the area and my cat had an issue with it's paw. Deer run was very quick to get me an appointment and see him. They quickly found out what the issue was and fixed him up. I liked how the Dr. was the person who called to discuss the visit. He explained everything and answered my myriad of questions. I highly recommend them and will be going there for my pets.
