I've been using Boston Dog Butlers for hikes, walks, park play and grooming--what a lifesaver!! Even though I work at home, I'm on meetings all day. Whomever is taking my dog, Kevin, on an outing let's themself in and quietly whisks Kevin off. So very easy. They're incredibly timely and helpful with text updates.

Our dog Korra loves getting groomed at Boston Dog Butlers! We've been taking her here since she was a puppy and they have done a great job making her feel very comfortable with the grooming process. Korra loves seeing Melissa, and the attention to detail of the groom is always excellent, especially considering bernedoodle coats aren't always the easiest to deal with. Korra also gets to play with friends while she is there, which she loves! We highly recommend BDB!

A fellow dog mom recommended Melissa & Jamie at Boston Dog Butlers Pet Spa on Tremont over conversation at the dog park and, 18 months later, we cannot imagine taking our little guy anywhere else! Our mini Labradoodle is quite sensitive, tends to be shy and significantly dislikes being groomed or brushed in most areas... even by us. He unfortunately had a couple of negative grooming experiences prior to finding BDB which contributed to his fears. As a breed with hair that requires a good amount of maintenance, this has presented quite a challenge. Melissa and Jamie at Boston Dog Butlers Pet Spa have been absolutely incredible -- amazingly patient, kind and caring in each interaction (with both canines and humans alike!). They have worked hard to build trust and rapport with our pup, meeting him where he is and slowly growing his confidence. Their approach is consultative, professional and always prioritizes the dog and their experience, informed by the team's in-depth knowledge and training. They take breaks for play, treats and always make sure he leaves on a high note! We love that we can be confident that they will do a great job aesthetically, while most importantly respecting and supporting his needs and comfort on psychological and emotional levels. He now pulls us toward the shop whenever we're in the area -- always a telling sign! ???? We cannot recommend Melissa, Jamie and their team highly enough!! Pro tip: Be sure to book ahead as the BDB team is in high demand. ????

We have been bringing our dog to Boston Dog Butlers since he was a tiny puppy. Melissa does a great job with him every single time. Melissa and the team are always so excited to see him, and it makes me feel good about leaving him in their care for a few hours at a time! We’ve been extremely satisfied with every haircut he’s been given, and Melissa will text me throughout the appointment with any questions or concerns so I’m totally in the loop. Boston Dog Butlers is the BEST place for grooming. Melissa always does such an amazing job, and honestly I think my dog prefers Boston Dog Butlers than his own house now! Everyone is so friendly, and I know my dog is in trusted hands.

We’ve been taking our dog Bunny to see Melissa at Boston Dog Butlers since we adopted her in April. Bunny is a small dog with separation anxiety and scared of big dogs. She knows she’s safe when we leave her in Melissa’s arms and always comes home looking clean cut and beautiful.

Our pup has been going to see Melissa since she was about 5 months old. Melissa is always wonderful and Stella couldn’t be happier when she see’s she’s going to see her and Jamie. Stella’s cuts are always exactly what we want and are so consistent. Couldn’t recommend BDB and Melissa more!

Cassidy, Melissa and Krysta have all helped with beautifying our giant Sheepadoodle, Otis, and he always comes out looking (and smelling) like a star :) It's so great to have found a groomer that knows how to care for his thick, curly coat; and more importantly cares about him and for him when he's in their shop. We were also delighted to bring in our new Irish Terrier, Edith, for a meet and greet - they were so helpful and informative on the nuances of tending to her atypical wiry fur. We can't imagine taking them anywhere else!

Dog Butlers has been grooming my cockapoo for over a year now, and they are wonderful to deal with! Melissa does a great job grooming him, and will always call to confirm what I want to do if there are any questions that arise during the process. They are so kind and patient with my pup!

We absolutely love working with Boston Dog Butler. We work most closely with Brittany - she is such a dog lover and always takes great care of Millie. She also shares new ideas with us about food Millie likes, training tactics, and new personality developments. Millie is generally affectionate but goes into another level of wiggle when Brittany arrives. Cannot recommend her enough!

Melissa is great with our Toy Aussie - who is a handful! We utilize a multitude of services offered from Dog Butlers so our grooming apt included pick up, a trip to the park with his friends and drop off back home. The team communicates with us throughout the day, but also understands our busy schedule and can just get things done without direction. It has been a pleasure working with this team of committed animal advocates.

So glad we found Boston Dog Butlers when we moved here last summer! Brittany has been amazing with our dog Bella! Bella was very anxious about leaving with a new person the first few times, but Brittany was patient and encouraging and now is one of Bella's favorite people. The app is super easy to use and the company is very responsive if there are last minute changes to our schedule. Highly recommend!

We love Boston Dog Butlers! Our golden retriever comes here for a monthly groom/teeth brushing service, and we have nothing but great things to say. He usually sees Melissa (although everyone is great!), and our dog always comes out looking and smelling great. He loooooves Melissa and BDB so much, that every time we pass the store during a walk, he tries to go inside. He loves going and playing with the other dogs there, and I have noticed that the consistent grooms make it easier to brush and clean him at home as well . I would definitely recommend them for any dog bathing and grooming needs, and the team is very professional and responsive with any questions or needs to reschedule. There are other walking and park play services there as well that I hope to check out one day too!

I have an anxious/fearful puppy that require a lot of patience. The team here has gone above and beyond to accommodate his needs and they have become his favorite people! The service is truly impeccable in terms of ease of booking/changing and the care the puppies receive.

We have been taking our bernedoodle to Dog Butlers for the past year and have always had wonderful experiences with them. They take great care of her while she is with them and do a wonderful job grooming her. They are very communicative and flexible about when you are able to come back and pick up your pup and we love that they let the dogs play + socialize together while they are waiting instead of keeping them in crates. I never write reviews for anything, but I must say I’m so glad I found BDB that I feel compelled. I’m a first time dog owner of a WFT - high grooming needs and strong personality. I started taking him to Melissa for basic grooming like baths, nails, small trims, since he was a tiny puppy and she’s been great with him. Last week I took him in for a full hand strip and she did an amazing job despite it being a very labour intensive and skilful task (the first two strips were done by a WFT breeder, but Melissa honestly did just a great a job!). On top of that my puppy loves going there and is always happy to return! I also use BDB for my puppy’s walks with Ciara - who has been absolutely amazing with him and he loves her like a family member! Overall very impressed with the professionalism, honesty and responsiveness of BDB.

Dog Butlers are the best groomers ever! Melissa never fails to impress with her grooming skills and Niko always comes out looking like a million bucks!!
