Despite my dogs medication running out and his worsening symptom they refused to see for two months because I am a new patient. They made no effort to work something out or provide any additional options.

It was my first time at this location - I typically go to Brookland. The people here are just as kind and friendly as the folks at Brookland. Thankful for their attention to my little senior dog! Parking might be a pain, but they are open until 9pm on certain days!!!

District Vet does an amazing job taking care of our fur babies! The staff is amazing, and their prices are fair. We recently moved to the suburbs, but I refuse to switch vets.

Got a same day new patient appointment and am well taken care of. The location is nice and close to shopping and restaurants and the office itself is very nice. The staff is friendly and the vets clearly love animals very much!

Wonderful service from all involved, including reception, vet assistant (Al), and vet doctor (Dr. Camden). Place was clean. The personnel were caring and patient with my questions, and showed empathy with my concerns/anxiety. A little on the expensive side, but if you can afford it, it is worth it for their level of care.

District Vet has been superb in our experiences with our cat and dog. They are prompt, thorough, kind, helpful and take the best care of our pets. We would not go anywhere else!

Our adopted dog struggles with fear-based reactivity, which causes a lot of stress during vet visits. District Vet has always made us feel welcome, approached us and our dog with patience and understanding, and has never made us feel judged. This is of huge importance to as it helps reduce the stress involved in these visits for everyone. We moved across the city from District Vet last year and had tried out another vet that was in a closer location, which ended up being a completely opposite experience and definitely exacerbated our dog's fear of the vet. It is absolutely worth the longer commute for us to stay with District Vet. Sammy has seen Dr. T, Dr. Evans, and Dr. Frost and while I think Dr. Evans may have the magic touch with our pup, they and the vet techs have all been so wonderful at every visit we've had. We can't recommend this place enough!

I've been going to this hospital for only a month and immediately I love it! This place has such inviting atmosphere, kind employees, a unique interior design, and nice treats for your furry pal! But be prepared to pay a pretty penny for your friend, cuz after seeing the bill..my blood pressure may have rose for brief second. However it's all worth it, for your fur baby of course.

District Vet is a professional Friendly clean environment. Dr. Teisch is very observant and kind, his love for pets are on point,, he's the best for my pet!!

Always a friendly, efficient staff, also reasonably priced for the location (Eastern Market). Have been to other vets within walking distance on Capitol Hill and they are my favorite. They've always been helpful w/ getting my dog in on short notice for acute issues.

I love District Vet! They take such great care of our sweet dog, and they make it super easy to order pet meds. Everyone on the staff is incredibly kind and patient with any questions you have as a pet owner. When discussing vaccinations and other treatments, they are upfront about cost and always have your pet's wellbeing as the top priority. I strongly recommend District Vet for all your pet health needs!

With my previous dog I've gone to Friendship Animal Hospital exclusively, but it's just too far of a trek now that I've moved across town. My pup Dagmar has seen Dr Lin since I adopted her, and Dr Lin is just wonderful. Dagmar was originally fairly timid and unsure, and she still doesn't love the vet, but everyone here is so patient, kind and willing to work with Dagmar. They see so many dogs and cats all day, but they really make me feel like my dog is absolutely special. Thank you so much for your wonderful care of my pup District Vet!!
