I send my dog to City Dogs H St for grooming. The staff is so friendly and takes great care of him. He comes home clean and in a good mood, which says A LOT for a dog who doesn’t love a bath!

I went in to have my dog’s nails trimmed. City-dogs was fast and efficient. The technician did a great job and was kind to my pet.

My pup had such a good time at City Dogs!! I love how they put her photo out front the first day to welcome her and sent videos of her in her "report card." I was able to see the facilities before I dropped her off, and everyone was very kind and clearly loved dogs. She's currently asleep, worn out from her super fun day. 10/10!

City Dogs is our go to place for Jax. The staff is friendly and they take good care of him.

My dog Mia stayed at City Dogs - H Street from December 27-29. Her report cards indicated that she was behaving normally upon arriving. When she came home she didn’t eat or drink for the entire day. She continued to not eat or drink, and then it turned into throwing up and bloody diarrhea. On January 1, I finally had to take her to the ER vet it got so bad. The vet diagnosed her with hemorrhagic gastroenteritis, and she had to be hooked up to an IV for 2 days for extreme dehydration and prescribed antibiotics. City Dogs only response to this happening was “it doesn’t seem to have a definitive cause,” which they finally sent after trying to get in contact for 3 days. I am unsure how they can act like this when my dog was normal and healthy upon drop off and became extremely sick immediately following her stay at City Dogs. Due to the timing of her diagnosis, I am nearly certain that Mia must have gotten into something she shouldn't have (common cause to HGE) and was not being watched properly at City Dogs. I highly caution anyone from bringing their dog here.

We've been taking our dog Tonka to City Dogs since 2018 (I think). Tonka is a bit sassy and is a resource guarder. But we know that when she's at City Dogs, we have no reason to worry because she is in loving hands. I'm in awe of the staff at both locations. They are professional, caring, and attentive. And, Tonka secretly told us that they give the best belly rubs!

My energetic beagle mix Pablo goes into City Dogs daycare very enthusiastically. He comes home tired & happy. Buying the pass makes it reasonably priced. I love the photos on the door welcoming the new dogs! Great place!

The staff is so friendly and helpful. I brought my pup in for a nail clipping - it was quick and his paws looked great. They have an excellent selection of treats to, which my pup obviously appreciated. Thanks City Dogs!

We have only gone in twice so far but my puppy is obsessed with City Dogs! The registration and reservation processes are simple and customer friendly. Definitely recommend!

I've never used a boarding service before this so I don't know what is typical and what is not. My puppy loves going to City Dogs and they are super convenient and friendly. But there are a few things that could be better (in my opinion) 1. They only send video of your puppy the first time you board them. After that, you just receive paper report cards when you pick them up. A 24hr webcam would be a addition for those of us that would like to see our dogs while away. 2. My puppy smells awful every time I pick them back up. Definitely smells of dog urine. You know the smell of a busy dog park? Multiply that x 2. They offer to bathe your dog, for an additional fee.

Pernell is a highly skilled groomer. He is personal and open to suggestions. My Portuguese Water Dog, Teodor, received an excellent cut.

My senior dog companion stayed for several days with the boarding offered by City Dogs. My experience was very positive, and I am very selective regarding services for my very good 13 year old boy. Staff are friendly and professional. The daily report cards send with a link via text were appreciated. When I picked my baby up, he was happy to see me but also clearly relaxed and not stressed from his stay. I did the boarding service with one walk a day as an add on. They also offer day care all day.

We had our shih tsu groomed here and the service was professional. The front desk asked how I’d like his cut and took notes. We received a text that he was ready within the 4 hours. Our pup looked great and we are happy! This was our third or fourth time using City Dogs grooming services and they are consistently offering professional quality grooming services.

City Dogs have been great so far with our pup! Highly recommend them, their doggy daycare rate is very reasonable!

My doggie loves City Dogs. The staff is always so helpful, responsive, generous and friendly. Her grooming is always perfect!

We got our rescue pup in 2018 and day care at City Dogs helped us all stay sane! It allowed him to burn off all his energy, make friends, and allowed us the peace of mind to know he was safe, happy, and occupied with or without us.

I need to locate a local daycare for our dog at the last minute found a few and after sending them her medical records they turned me way because she is an American Bully. Called City dogs literally the day before the day I was traveling asked them if they would accept her breed into there daycare they confirmed that it wouldn’t be an issue filled out all the forms and her records. Called them back and was able to book her for the day I needed. I was a little nervous since it was her first time in daycare and it was a new experience. They were amazing and very flexible with pick up and our dog enjoyed her time there. I will definitely be using them every time we come to visit.

My furry kid’s first day was amazing! We felt so welcomed, especially seeing his personal ‘Welcome’ sign. The staff were patience, friendly and attentive, all the qualities my senior dog needs. I truly appreciated the video update of my pup- to see that he didn’t appear anxious and was very intrigued. I’m excited for my pup to join the City Dog family!

My dog, Nollie, absolutely loves day care at City Dogs H St. She will barrel into the store and not want to leave when I pick her up! Also, the staff seem to do an incredible job at keeping dogs active. Nollie sleeps for days after any visit! The staff are always friendly and the services are phenomenal.

My Yeti loves this daycare. The staff is responsive and friendly. My fur baby doesn’t want to leave when I pick him up.

I take Truffle Butter here to get her nails done and I could not be more pleased with the staff and the quality of service that is provided. The treats section is always packed with fun items for truffle! And it doesn't hurt that I am across the street of the H Street NE location - so convenience is awesome!

The staff at City Dogs is both professional and friendly. They treat Herschel as if he is a member of their family. They have earned my trust on several occasions.

It is such a pleasure to receive exceptional customer service. The lady with the black hair and big Betty Davis eyes was so personable and transparent. I communicated to her my needs and she pointed me in the right direction.

The staff was wonderful and friendly from the minute I walked in with my dog! At the end of the day, I received a report card, a photo, and a welcome packet. I will absolutely take my fur baby back to City Dogs!
