They always listen and follow instructions when grooming my dogs. They groom my bernedoodle and golden doodle.

Be aware of staff not advising ahead of time there has been a high rate of illness coming out of the kennel. We lost our 4 year old Cane Corso that came home with upper respiratory infection, 12 days after we brought him home. I call the kennel and asked if they have had any issues with illnesses and was told that this past year has been very high on respiratory infection. Why! Wasn’t I advise before leaving him there? Very sad and upset at Country Side Kennels.

We were very saddened to pick up our pup after a weekend of boarding with this kennel. (we were first time boarders here - but this is not the first time we have boarded our dog) We have a male fox red lab who is very friendly and playful- he just loves everyone! A true lab! When we dropped him off - something felt a little off. The staff kind of whisked him away without going over the facility accommodations, or procedures which we felt like should have been done because this was our first time there... They just kind of gave us the brush off. When we picked him up, again, staff hardly said anything to us. The didn't discuss our pups time there with them, whether good or bad. There was no communication at all. Our experiences have been extremely different at other kennels in the area. Our pup seemed really sad. His tail was not wagging, his ears were down, he looked scared. He had a bloody scratch on his nose, He was extremely dirty and smelled very poor. He was not himself at all. This is highly atypical behavior from him-and it really gave us a shock. He was shaking the whole car ride home and was acting very timid. It wasn't until we pulled in the driveway that he began to wag his tail again. We will not choose to board our pup here in the future. Time for a bath!

There is so much good things to say about this place!! I love love love the customer service, the pet trainers, the location, and of course the treatment of my pet. Whenever we drop our pet off for grooming or an extended stay, he is treated with love and respect!! We have been using them for 3 years and will continue to for years to come!! Thank you for always loving on our Zeus!!

We took our dog here for the week of our wedding at Herrington on the Bay. Incredibly friendly staff and very professional!! They even had someone bring our dog to the family portraits before the ceremony, then brought him back to the kennel. So nice!!! They treat your dog like their own. 100% recommend!!

Dogs go from a kennel to another outside kennel to do their business. This place looks more like a prison. They nickel and dime you for "extras". If you want you dog to feel loved and not abandoned get ready to shell out some serious money on "extras".

They have a great staff and when I pick my dog up at the end of the day he seems like he had had a great time and every time we go back he's jumping out of the truck to try to get inside to see who's there for the day

They took great care of our 9 week old pup and treated him like family!

I boarded my elderly puggle here for several nights during Thanksgiving and was very pleased. Due to his age, they upgraded him to a deluxe extra squishy dog bed for free. They accommodated all of his little mealtime quirks and instructions, and had no problem using his slow-feeder bowl from home or adding his special cbd peanut butter to dinner. I would have liked to see the inside where my pup was staying, but I understand not wanting extra people in the building during Covid. They conduct all the pre-reservation business in advance over phone and email, and send a staff member out to your car to pick up and return your pup when you arrive. He also came home smelling like a bath that I don't remember paying for. (another free upgrade?) Though I hate leaving my pup overnight, I'll definitely use Countryside Kennels next time.

We were referred here by relatives, and we were not disappointed! Our Cabela had the most amazing time, and loved her premium suite in addition to the puppy pool. It is comforting to know that when I drop Cabela off at Countryside that it not just a comfortable temporary stay for her, but also a vacation for her, too! Cabela can not wait to return to Countryside Kennels and hang out with her puppy pals!

I’ve been an employee of countryside kennels for a total of 5 years. 4 years at the other location and going on a year at this location. The love for animals here is overwhelming and every single staff member, along with the owners go to great lengths to make sure our clients pets are well taken care of and are comfortable during their stay with us. The owners and other staff members including management, are all very caring people and do not use profanity towards each other nor do any of us gossip about other employees. We are ALL treated with respect. This is a great place to work and and an amazing place to bring your pets. My own animals come to work with me everyday. I wouldn’t want to take them anywhere else. The level of professionalism here at this kennel goes above and beyond! For anyone to bash this kennels business based on a high schooler who was a part time employee for not even a month, who was terminated due to the safety of herself and other animals is not cool at all. -Daycare Tiffany

Evertime I leave spike here he gets the attention he needs. He gets to play with other dogs so when he gets home this is how he does and I love it. Thank you guys for all you do.

LOVE Countryside! My pup always has a blast and the staff takes such great care of the animals!

While working there management treated new employees with disrespect and ignored them when questions were asked. Constant gossip and profanity throughout the work day towards others and animals. High turn over rate. I don't recommend applying to work here or bringing your animals here.

Our family went on a last minute winter get away and our usual kennel was booked solid. So the search began, scrolling through reviews online I found countryside. Of course leaving Blue at a new place was worrying but little did I know at the time I had nothing to fret about. She absolutely loved countryside!!!! Thank you guys for keeping her entertained and happy New Year

Absolutely the best experience our dog has had for boarding and grooming. Very clean and pets are well cared for. Our dog used to take days to get back to her normal self after boarding. Once we moved to Calvert County and discovered Countryside, she is her normal happy self when we arrive for pick-up .

Baxter's home away from home! He's a regular going two times a week and can't wait to enter Countryside Kennels as we drive up.

saW pet limo was left unattended by driver. Dogs were left in van for a long period of time with no window down and the car was turned off. Disrespectful

Our dogs come here every time we travel for business and vacations. They love their stay here because they can stay together the whole time. Best of all is that they have a service that will pick-up and drop off our dogs when we arrive back home,

Witnessed management gossiping about other employees! Some employees not givin the same treatment as other employees. Management not monitored by owners.
