Tails on Trails Odenton, Maryland

I have been a steady client of Trails on Trails’s for 8 years. The first two years we had one lab. We added another lab shortly thereafter. I could not have managed my hectic schedule these last eight without the professional care, commitment, trustworthiness and dedication of TOT employees.

They were reliable and showed every day to walk my dog. I used them for roughly 2 years. I took a break for roughly 2 months (vacation, flu hit my entire household, etc. ) and communicated that we didn't need service at that time. They told me no issue at all just give 2 weeks notice. I gave them notice we were ready to resume but they couldn't accommodate. This was a bummer because it seemed originally it would be no problem when we spoke 2 months prior. Ultimately, I understand that this could occur. I asked for my house key back since they could no longer walk my dog and they didn't immediately reply. I eventually received notification that my key was 'destroyed.' This was very displeasing. We had a 2 year relationship and they never contacted me to let me know they were going to take it upon themselves to destroy my key?! This was not discussed at all.. Ultimately, I assume my key was misplaced or in the trash!?! This is poor security practices on their part and left our entire relationship on a sour note.

Jessica has been amazing. I have had some last minute requests for walks or just to come and check on my dogs at home and Jessica has never said no. She goes above and beyond to make me and my dogs happy. I have been using her company for over a year now and have never had an issue. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Love this place, my dog is a rescue and he gave them a hard time at first but has adjusted so well and the staff was patient with him. He always looks wonderful and feels great!!

Brought in two shelties and they looked great will be back.

This is a great service! When you are not able to be home, these gals take care of your precious pet and you can go about your day without a worry.

Everyone apart of this company are very trustworthy and reliable when it comes to your beloved pets! They don't just do things because it's their job and actually look into your pets needs with care, including medications and the safety of your home.

I have had mixed experience with Tails on Trails. They have been reliable and taken good care of my cats for 2-1/2 years. However, there have been two incidents where I was not satisfied. The first was early in our relationship - one of my 3 cats was in a closet with door closed and they didn't notice for the entire 3 days. When I brought this to the attention of the owner, she didn't believe me because there was no evidence of urine or feces in the closet and refused to give any discount. I later found some behind a suitcase several months later. The second incident was recently. One of my 3 cats was recently diagnosed with lymphoma, and requires feeding two times a day. They can only come to my area once a day. They would not share the duties with another pet sitter, so I was required to find other help. I don't think I will be using them again.

You guys are the best! My Olive is the dog she is today b/c your experienced staff spent quality time working w/ her as a pup. AND - you have been a life saver in a pinch for dog sitting! I would recommend TOT to anyone!

I have used Tails on Trails for the last three plus years for pet sitting when I travel and nail clipping for my dog. Their people are wonderful with my dog and cat and very reliable. Whenever I return from my trips my pets are healthy and happy!

When it comes to in home pet care no one beats Tails on Trails! My wife and I have used them for several years and have never been disappointed. The employees are trustworthy and really care for animals and provide top notch service. Hire them!

I've been very happy with them. Nothing has ever gone wrong with the daily walks, even though we have a pretty irregular schedule. If they are in doubt, they call to make sure they have the right information. More importantly, when we travel, he seems to be very well taken care of. When Apollo sees Denise or Michelle, he gets really excited. It makes us feel better to see that, since we feel bad travelling without him.

Always available and always professional. I've always had the highest level of service. I trust them absolutely to care for my dog and to come into my home while I"m not there.
